Others have complained about the green light, OMG, how is that different to a TV on standby mode ? This is a great product, being smaller gives you the option to place it anywhere ! It is strong enough to hold the switch and i like the USB’s to the front of the unit. Great price, great product.

Perfect for taking on Travels
This is actually very good “small” dock for your Nintendo Switch console, powered by USB C instead of the regular power adaptor, this is far smaller than the original Switch Dock, it also has two additional USB ports for charging other devices whilst also transferring the video and sound signal from your switch. It did take a couple of times for my switch to register with it and whilst the marketing says the dock can do 4K quality visuals, it should be pointed out that the Switch itself does not output 4K, and the picture quality was no better but not really worse than the original dock. For 20 you get a nice spare dock but a perfect one to take travelling if you bring your Switch console along with you.

Compact docking that has a blinding problem with it..
Switch Dock, TV Docking Station for Nintendo Switch by PowerLead, has all the same functions as the original one but much smaller and less chance of scratching your switch when taking it in and out. This isn’t without its caveats, the original switch seems to glide in to the dock seamlessly without needing to think about it. This Powerlead docking is compact and you would need to align the USB C port, which require more precision.
One other thing I thought that was strange was the constant on Blue LED light one the front, its constantly on and its really bright, bright enough to be very annoying and distracting. The only way I could put up with it was to stick blue-tack to cover. Quite a silly design and a major oversight by the designers.
Everything else is good to go, it comes out of the box, hook it up to the USB C power and HDMI and works immediately. Reduced by one star due to the terrible light design on the front.
