Lining 'Sticks'
Very lovely jacket but lining will ‘stick’ with fleece Tees as itself is a kind of fleece. Found a better jacket for that reason so chose not to keep this one. Sorry.
Bought one of these jackets a few years ago and really liked it. Maybe 5 years ago? It is waterproof / showerproof to an extent unless it’s really heavy rain and wind proof. Warm enough, especially when used with under garments like a hoodie etc
Used constantly, nearly everyday for walks and general use, and although it is still in great condition and showing no signs of wear I liked it that much that I decided to buy another as a back up!
Although the new purchase is very similar, I feel it is slightly different to my original. It doesn’t feel quite as heavy and in a direct comparison the inner lining is not as thick as my original. Other than that the features and design are pretty much identical. The main zipper is a slightly different design and the cuffs do not seem exactly the same. The sleeves are slightly long by design but can be adjusted with a velcro strap!
But overall I am pleased with the new jacket and hope it will last as long as the original!
Jacket was delivered a bit earlier than expected and no problems with packaging etc.
Nice jacket and seems to be waterproof
This is a nice soft-shell, fits well and seems to do the job. I say seems because I wore it right away and I was very pleased but after washing it in the washing machine with just water it may have lost some of the water proof. Time will tell — it is not the first Trespass jacket that looses waterproof after a while.
First jacket I ordered was a medium, sleeves were far too long – felt like King Louie strutting my stuff. Replaced that with a small, sleeves were only a tad long, but felt good with them. Really nice jacket, not worn in the rain yet, won’t be long though. Currently think about buying another – different colour, will wait until I’ve introduced this one to the rain. Overall I would recommend.
Fits perfec
Truly the best rain jacket Iv ever bought.
I got the xxs because it was on sale although the measurements suggested small. Fits like a glove and very warm and keeps you cool at the same time.
Excellent jacket, recently took on a trip to the Scottish Highlands camping & it performed perfectly, my only gripe is the arms are too long for the sizes, I’m a XL size but had to order XXL as XL was a little small but the arms are too long in XXL even though the rest of the jacket fits me, aside from that I love my jacke
Comftorble and value for money
Really comfy. The hood is a bit annoying to hook up but the two press studs soon got on after i got the mrs to use her smaller hands to sort this issue out. Pockets are lined so will help for keeping your paws warm and the inner lining is just great could maybe be a little thicker but a cracking bit of kit for great value.
Great jacke
Item arrived early which was great. Slightly heavier than expected but this is a good thing. Very comfortable. Only worn once on a long walk. Wore a thin roll neck under it and as a result of perspiring it got a bit cool, so difficult to say that it was warm. Pockets ok, don’t mind the third pocket on the front but would perhaps prefer one on the inside. Overall though, after one wear, very pleased with it.
Good lasting quality, windproof and waterproof
This is the 2nd coat we’ve bought as my son out grew his first one. (The previous coat was still in really good condition which is saying something after his wearing it to school everyday for 3 years.) He wears this over his blazer (which is quite thin) it keeps him warm as it seems to be fairly windproof and is definitely waterproof for at least an hour or 2 in fairly heavy rain. I usually wear Montane or Berghaus etc myself but after seeing how good this coat was, I also bought myself a trespass dlx coat and trousers !
Good produc
A great outer shell. The jacket is very waterproof, I have remained dry on a number of extremely wet dogwalks which lasted for over an hour in sometimes torential rain. Jacket is reasonably breathable, but if you want a jacket for heavy exercise or work go for something with a higher rating, however the jacket is more than suitable for my needs.
Good walking jacke
Lightweight but reasonably windprooor & showerproof walking jacket which still breathes. Detachable hood which is useful as I prefer to ear a hat. Only criticism is that the arms are ridiculously long!
This is not as lightweight as say – a Gortex jacket with no lining. But it’s great for me as a gardener outdoors it has enough warmth without overheating. It’s waterproof, no worries. I think it’s comfortable, nicely designed – the zip on hood detail especially nicely designed. Good jacket, practical and better looking than some other ‘leading’ brands. The jacket fabrication feels expensive. Well worth the reasonable cost.
The hood works well and is not flawed but it’s easy to overlook it on first glance. Please watch my video on how to use the hood. Love the look and feel of the jacket. I went a size larger than normal to allow for layers and it provides plenty of room. I wanted to get this video up to help people struggling with the hood design. The jacket overall is well made and warm. It’s waterproof for light rain but if you are caught in a downpour you will get damp.
Trespass jacke
I have bought this coat for the autumn/winter off road cycling but have worn it out before for a walk today as the weather wasn’t looking great this feels nice and Snug room to move about in it when I do go off road looks and feels and waterproof Thankyou plus good excellent fast delivery
Nice and dry
With other raincoats I have I often have to change it half way through the day as I do a lot of work outside…this one keeps going the whole day
You can actually see the water running off it.
No problem with getting wet down the front of my shirt as a result of leakage from the zip eithe
Is Not warm
Good jacket, but is not warm, if you decided to use without a sweeter, you will fell freeze as hell…and after a 30min of cycling I’m the rain, the jacket is impossible to use if not dry, it absorb water after a while…Maximum price recommend in my opinion 35, the price that I paid here
A warm and windproof softshell jacket that looks great. I have worn it almost every day since I got it and it is just what I was looking for. I took the hood off and have not used it. I have not really tested the waterproofness but it seems OK in the couple of showers that I have been caught in. Only one minor niggle. The zip is a bit flimsy. I managed to disengage it at the bottom on the first day, but have been more careful since and no further problems.
Mostly the Trespass softshells have zip-off hoods, mostly other brands don’t so a no-brainer. A good balance between weight, softness and warmth. Yes I do know that soft-shells aren’t waterproof but water repelling, windproof and breathable. Saw this design in Trespass but not in my size or navy. Not the intention but saved a bit having to buy online.
My previous Trespass softshell was size L which was fine. I found in store Trespass size L was now too small and ordered XL. A perfect fit so consider ordering a size up. One small issue which I’ve knocked a star off for, my old Trespass soft-shell had inside pouch pockets which I found incredibly useful, this design doesn’t so decide for yourself.
Great product light weight it’s short on but that’s not a bad thing – seems like good quality as trespass have been in the past.I would may be buy a sizer larger mine fits fine but in general if your thinking it might be small or tight go 1 up.
