About Us
Our company was established in 1938 in Glasgow, Scotland. At the time, we had just 12 machinists, a 1200 sqft warehouse, and we provided uniforms and other items of clothing to good organisations, including the local police. We started to manufacture a good product which would come to shape the future of the business. Which product was anoraks and other waterproof jackets.

Comes up a bit big probably could have got medium (I’m slim 40″ chest and 5′ 10″ tall around 80kg) as I wanted it as an under gilet but it’s ok and will also go over sweatshirts if needed.
Great quality and fi
I bought this item principally to wear as an outer garment for playing golf during autumn / winter.
Covid restrictions have obviously stopped that for the time being, so haven’t tested it as yet!
However, as a point of note, I ordered XL at first and, although it was a good fit to be worn as warm layer, it would have been too restricting for the free movement needed for golf.
I therefore returned and re-ordered it in XXL, which was perfect.
The toggle adjustable hem is excellent and allows fine tuning of the already well-tailored fit. Gilets without this feature can be a bit tent-like!
Quality throughout seems very good but is, as yet, untested.
Great design for running: definitely shower resistant and windproof and being sleeveless you don’t overheat. Fair to say this probably isn’t a summer jacket. Loads of (securely) zipped pockets to hold stuff like your mobile phone, keys etc. The chest height pocket means my heavy mobile doesn’t bounce around when running. I’m a slightly rounded middle aged guy and the fits good and I don’t look like a blimp!

Great quality for the price
Bought this for my Dad and was a bit unsure what the quality would be given the price but it’s really good, feels high quality material and manufacture. He’s really pleased with it.
I am 6ft 3 and a large build – the fit is perfect and it’s great garment for all aspects of outdoor life including golf. Need to add the pockets are great too.
