Established in 1938 under the name Jacobs & Turner Ltd situated in the heart of Glasgow Scotland. In the beginning, we had just 12 machinists working profusely where we provided uniforms and other items of clothing to large organisations including the local police. Does the job
I bought this to use in my garden workspace for when I’m on Zoom calls and occasionally as a temporary desk to type at. It does the job, but I find it a bit fiddly to put up and take down, and it’s a bit wobbly for typing. It’s certainly lightweight, though, and folds away neatly down the side of the filing cabinet when not in use

First time camping so we didn’t want to spend too much on a table if we weren’t keen and wouldn’t camp again. We loved camping and the table, which was quite cheap was really good. It’s light but quite sturdy and packs away well. Will definitely buy this brand again but bigger – now we know camping is for us. The legs screw on and pack away easily and it has a carry handle.
We have a few tables when we go camping but we needed one that was lightweight and easy to put up. Its for sitting out of a night and means we don’t need to drag our bigger table in and out the tent. The fact that you can shorten the legs is a huge bonus as we have a 3 year old who loves drawing and will happily sit at this table for just that and maybe even her meals. The legs are not telescopic but removable. You use the end screw fitting to finish off the table leg when you have chosen the height you want. Lightweight and small but ideal for us.
