Useful and compac
Feels like lovely quality and (despite no arms) think it will be very useful (haven’t used it yet) for very wet days, for theme parks and festivals. Love the colour!
This is a great poncho, but I didn’t realise that it just had holes for your arms. All the other ones I’ve had have covered my arms. Saying that, it covers the body well, hood enormous (wear a peaked cap to keep it off your face), and is waterproof.
This is great on me but not on my husband. Sadly it was bought for him, but wasnt great as the arm slits were just not practical as your arms will get wet when outside and he found the hood didn’t fit well so we had to return it. I liked it for me though, I’m 5’4 so it was perfect. My husband is 6’2 and he found a size large a bit small and restrictive. Nice poncho though. Looks like Darth Vade
Bought this for a summer holiday in the Alps, where sharp showers are common but it’s still very warm, so a coat is not needed. Excellent item, lightweight, folds up really small, completely waterproof, roomy enough to wear over your rucksack and little arm holes at the front so you can use walking poles easily. Great for summer hill / mountain hiking.
Pretty cool item. Light enough. No sleeves. Haven’t tested in the rain. It seems to be the ‘coolest’ I’ve found and I’m really fussy about looking cool hiking.

No especial title
It was not a risk for me to buy this as I had previously bought the pink version which I find is great for walking and provides good ventilation/airing, almost like Gortex.
I bought this black version as I can see it also being useful for wear on rainy days in towns and looks less way out than the pink poncho.
This is a great item. Received it today and took it for a wander in the rain. I walked for an hour in moderate rain and was dry when I got home. I bought a size small and I am a size 10. Good fit for me but if you are a small male I would go for medium size. Good points about this item – When wearing, it hasn’t got that annoying rustle some macs have. It has hand holes which are great for obvious reasons but also great for ventilation, especially if the weather is not cold. In colder weather a coat could be worn under it. It’s a good design, has a decent size hood. I really like it. It does look a bit like Darth Vader’s prototype coat but that just adds to it. It’s great.
