Great For Connecting Laptop To TV
I recently found myself with an extra TV in my office and thought it would be great to use it with my MacBook. As I don’t watch live TV anymore and often watch YouTube content, it seemed like the perfect solution. I decided to get a USB-C cable to connect the TV to my MacBook and I must say, I’m impressed with the quality of the cable.

Dispatched promptly. The build quality is nice, looks and feels like a qualiy item and more importantly the wrap seems sturdy.
Tested using a projector, a computer monitor and a TV, this works like a charm.
Apple computers and ipad, fine no weirdness in use.
Samsung phone – works great, fired straight up into Samsung Dex and I was able to use desktop applications, including watching movies on netflix.

A solid performing cable
I really like this cable. It’s solid and you can tell it’s not going to let you down. Looks good, feels good- solid. I’ve used it to connect my Mac Pro Laptop to a projector. Absolutely no problem at all. Functions as described. Now has a permanent place in my work bag!
Brilliant to use with your phone!
I wasn’t expecting it to be this easy, to be able to display my phone on a monitor, yet this cable does exactly that!
Using my Samsung Galaxy S21 5g, this 1 metre cable automatically defaults to Samsung Dex as soon as it’s connected to the monitor, this is Samsung software that allows my phone to display on the monitor.
This cable is amazing, feels superb quality, the connectors both ends look very well made and fit perfectly.
It’s noticeably thicker than phone charger cables but I’m guessing there’s a whole lot more wires inside, yet it feels nice and flexible still.
Looks very smart cable in the dark grey/black sheath, feels very abrasion resistant.
If your sat at your computer desk this 1 metre cable is ample length and the one I’d recommend.
I’ve uploaded a photo of my monitor displaying the home page from my phone running Dex, I’ve not had a single disconnect using this cable, I’m genuinely really impressed with it!
Would 100% recommend this hdmi cable, I know there’s so much choice but it really is a decent one.
Tested on QHD 60Hz Monitor and it works perfectly.
I used this on my PC with a NVIDIA RTX2080 graphics card which has a powered USB C port (Only 2000 series has USB C display out on the NVidia range)
It perfectly carried the maximum graphics 1440p 60Hz that my monitor can manage. I work with multi monitors in VR, but can only have as many virtual monitors as I have physical monitor ports, so this cable helps me to use one more.
The braiding gives me hope of longevity.

A good product I think
This seems to be a well-made product. I like the fact that the cable is braided, rather than enclosed in the all-too-common plastic. Both connector ends of the cable are enclosed in protective plastic sheaths, which is another thing I liked. A Velcro-secured tie is provided to keep the cable neatly tied up.
This cable will give me a back-up (or even a first choice) option for whenever I need to connect my laptop to an HDMI-fitted projector, which means that I can prepare for my next presentation with more confidence. A good product I think.
Yay It Works
This is a very well constructed cable, it is nicely braided and feels very robust whilst still being flexible unlike some others. When not in use it can easily be coiled up and secured with the Velcro strap that is provided. It also comes with an 18 month free replacement policy for piece of mind.
Before you purchase this cable make sure you read the compatibility list. I can confirm the Amazon Kindle Fire does not work, it just displayed an error message of moisture in charging port !
The reason I went with the 3M cable length was so I could sit on my couch and play my Steam Deck on our large screen TV and I’m pleased to say it worked perfectly, picture and sound were great ana I experienced no lag. I can also confirm it worked with my Samsung S8 phone.
All in all a nice robust cable that is now coiled up behind the TV waiting for the wife to go out.

Works well and looks good build quality. Can’t say how long it will last but feels solid. The cable is quite stiff so might struggle to bend in tight spaces.
Useful for ultra thin laptops or tablets without HDMI sockets when hooking up to extra displays/monitors.

Great quality type C to HDMI cable
I got this cable to use with a projector, in order to connect my mobile devices to play video content. Whilst my project does have WIFI/Bluetooth capabilities, I prefer to use a solid/hard connection, for better resolution and increased reliability of signal transfer.
This cable is perfect for the intended purpose and has a perfect amount of length to comfortably reach the projector and connect to mobile devices.
The cable has great signal capability, supporting up to 4k resolution, for sharp and realistic transmission of video images. I have tested this on a few streaming apps and locally stored files and for both scenarios it has worked fantastically well. Equally, I haven’t noticed any dropouts or screen lag, which is fantastic. Audio signal is equally as sharp, with no delays between dialogue and lip sync.
The cable is slimline and has a tough external coating to protect it for any damage or breakages. However, it is still flexible enough to wind up after use to keep it safe and tidy. Equally, the cable is not in anyway intrusive like other cables can be. In addition, the connection ends are very well made and appear as though they will stand up to lots of use without any fear of breaking down or suffering from any issues with connecting to devices or transmitting content.
Another great feature with this purchase is you get an 18 month warranty with a free replacement should the cable develop any faults. That is a really great bonus that adds great peace of mind and a risk free purchase.
I am really happy with this cable it executes the job incredibly well and I would very much recommend this for similar use, or for connecting an android phone to a laptop/PC, as an alternative.

The cable is a nice quality braided type and looks very well made.
I was able to connect a MacBook Pro (2021) to monitor and TV without issue, it just worked perfectly. I also used a Windows based machine using the USB-C port and again, it just worked.
Everything fit really well with a good positive fit. The only point I would mention is the HDMI connector is quite large. This wasn’t an issue for me, but if you have limited space available or you don’t want the cable to stick out on a device where the HDMI port is close to the end just keep this in mind.

Good quality usb-C to HDMI converter / cable

This cable will plug into a usb-C port of a computer or phone at one and, and into the HDMI port of a monitor or TV at the other end to use the monitor/TV as an extra display. It is the equivalent of using a usb-C to HDMI adapter, plus an HDMI cable – just less cumbersome – as there are fewer plugs and connections involved. It appears solidly built, specially as it is braided and the cable itself is thicker than a normal USB cable. I have tested it with an Acer laptop and a Samsung phone, and both worked straight away without any hiccup. One note of caution though – both in the case of phones and computers, the usb-C port has to support DisplayPort / Alt Mode. Not all devices with usb-C ports have this feature – your device’s spec should help here. This is specially relevant when it comes to phones – as some manufacturers – such as Google Pixel and many Chinese brands don’t tend to provide Alt Mode on their phones. Samsung and LG seem to provide this feature more often than other brands.
Good quality, strong materials, and does what it says
This is a good quality product. I’m not able to test the 4K compatibility of this as I only have a 1080p TV. From what I can see though it does exactly what it should do. I was able to use this with both my MacBook Pro 2021 model and my iPad Pro 2nd generation without any limitation from the OS external monitor support.
The cable is constructed of a good quality fabric weave which should last much longer than the plastic equivalent. If I was to be picky about this product, the HDMI head is rather bulky and may not be suitable for anyone with a restricted area between the port and a wall. Other than that, there’s no complaints from me on this product.
A quality HDMI cable
Cable works fine connecting my Macbook to a TV. It’s a sturdy cable covered in a braided nylon(?).
The cable came with plastic end covers to both the HDMI and USB-C ends, a felt velcro cable tie, and a plastic covering to stop scratches on the metal sheaths – it all adds to the professional feel of the cable.
These days you need to carry around an HDMI cable if you are a presenter, as invariably when you get to a customer’s office someone has borrowed the HDMI cable in the TV or projector! You need to be sure the cable is of a high enough quality to connect – so carry your own tested cable!
Price at time of review was 8.49 for a 1 metre cable, so seems a reasonable price to me.
Works well with P30 Pro
I tried this with a couple of devices since recieving it, all be it only today.
Works brilliantly with my P30 Pro, have uploaded a photo of streaming GTA V via cloud gaming to the tv, works well, feels smooth unlike the wireless displays sharing from the phone. Plugs in, picks it up select mode and just works, we have 1 4k tv in the house hold but its from 2017, our laptop (a surface book 2) detects the tv, reads the info can set resolutions but can’t get a picture, this happens with another laptop I tried, however my computer monitor a 1440p display works perfect with both laptops both producing 1440p @ 60hz smoothly. I’m assuming its our older TV just doesn’t like the laptops.

Excellent quality, doesn't work with all devices.
I got this to connect my Honor X9 to the TV without having to suffer connection dropouts. Unfortunately despite several attempts I couldn’t get it to work. I tried my S21 too, although it got further, it again failed to display.
Clearly others have had sucess, I do wonder if it’s a problem if knowledge or maybe even my TV, but as it didn’t display, I can’t comment on its performance. However, I can confirm that with it’s braided cable and seemingly quality connectors, this cable should serve you into the future.

I had one time when my 1080p had static after plugging it in but I un-plugged it and plugged it back in and it came on fine. Not had that issue again.
I’ve been using it on my Dell 4K (UHD) for the last week and it works great! WAY better than all the docks I had with one hdmi cable coming out of them for my UHD and 2 1080p’s I run.

Purchased this to use with my Ipad while in hotel rooms.
Its a nice cable! Made of a braided material like a lot of modern cables.
Its not so thick or stiff that it will not stay in place if bent. Also coils up nicely for storage with the included velcro. I have the 3 metre version and that’s useful if the display is some distance away.
If you are going to use it with a tablet or phone it only works with devices that can output video on the usb c. This is normal as not all devices have this capability. My Samsung A70 is not supported for this reason. Good idea to check the device can output video first. A Bluetooth mouse is useful if used on the Ipad as you can then have it as a separate display and operate that display with the mouse.

No picture drop off when upscaling to a 65" TV
I used this to broadcast from my Macbook Air to a samsung 65″ TV because the Apple ‘broadcast’ function over bluetooth was laggy and distorting so i could watch paid for matches for my football team on iFollow.
There was no picture drop off for the 4k stream or lag, no distorted pixels. The braided cable keeps it from kinking. A minor gripe is the length of 1m cable but it is clear in the description and I hadn’t prepared for this, that was my fault. The connectors are snug and tight. I suspect like all cables of this type they will wear down a little over time but that is expected with constant unplugging and plugging.
Read before purchasing if your after exactly a 3m cable
According to my measurements the cable is 2.9m, that’s including the connectors at both ends, so some creative rounding up for the advertising. I’m sure for most this isn’t an issue, but just a cautionary tale. That all said the cable feels robust, well made, as does both the metal connectors at each end. Came very well packed and according to the labels on the packet carry various approval kite marks versus none which is good to see. Note that the HDMI connector is long, the metal body alone is approx’ 4.2cm, and about 2.5cm wide. So it’s not a connection you want to keep moving placing stress on the HDMI socket. That said once fitted and left alone I’m sure it’ll be fine but securing the that cable end to avoid causing damage might be necessary for some under certain operating conditions, just my paranoid thoughts. So that’s 4 stars from me due to not being exactly 3m long, plus my HDMI plug being large, which is more than likely normal but I’d like to see them smaller.
Superb cable
I was getting annoyed needing to walk to my tablet whenever I had to change episodes, and now that I got this 3m long HDMI-USB C cable, I’m wondering why exactly did I wait for so long.
This is sturdy and really high quality cable, and comes with caps for those who like to use them. Supports 4k too for those who need it. But most of all; it’s long!
Honestly, this is a steal with its price. Highly recommended.
Brilliant cable for connecting laptop to larger monitor or TV etc
I bought this because I often need to give presentations in other people’s offices and frequently find that they have either no HDMI leads or some weird system of wireless connection that never seems to work.
This cable works brilliantly. I plugged this into my MacBook Pro USB C port and the other end into the HDI port of a large TV. Instantly I was presented with a huge, yet crystal clear, image of my laptop screen.
The cable is braided so I assume will be nice and durable and also comes with plastic covers for both ends to keep the dust out.
I went for the 3M version which should be ample length for pretty much all of my requirements and allows me to sit back from the screen on which I am presenting.
The one challenge is that the velcro strap for keeping the lead tidy is a little small and only just reaches around the cable once it is coiled back up.
Perfect for connecting my computer to the telly to play games.
Love that I could get this cable in 3 metres length – anything else would be too short, and anything else would be way too long.
It’s simple and well made, the braided construction and reinforcement at the flex points is welcome. It plugs directly into my USBC port on my MacBook Pro, and the other HDMI end right into my telly – no need for adaptors. This is really useful as I play games via my Windows 10 BOOTCAMP installation – which on a Mac of course still I only have USBC connections.
With 3 metres I can easily keep my laptop on the coffee table and out of the way and avoid any tripping hazards.
It just works and does what it’s supposed to, and really good value given the long length.
Works but not quite as I expected it to.
It’s been a bit difficult to review this lead because it doesn’t work quite as I expected but probably works as it’s supposed to do.
I wanted the lead to enable me to connect my Chromebook to my TV and display what was on my Chromebook’s screen on my TV.
I plugged the HDMI connector into the TV and switched it on. I then plugged the USB C connector into my Chromebook. I selected the HDMI channel on my TV and then went into my Chromebook settings and selected the TV in the display options and it only displayed the Chromebook’s wallpaper picture but not the open tab on the browser. Selecting another option in the settings displayed the browser’s tab but the Chromebook then just displayed the wallpaper. It appears that you can have the browser’s contents on either the Chromebook or the TV but not both. This is not really a problem except it’s sometimes difficult to locate the cursor when it’s on the TV. Another ‘quirk’ is that it’s possible to vary the sound volume on the TV using the keys on the Chromebook but not the screen’s brightness.
I compared it using some YouTube videos played through the Chromebook with the same videos played on YouTube from a Roku streaming box and found the sound quality to be similar although the picture was noticeably brighter using the Roku streamer.
The lead probably works as it’s intended to do and I would expect any other lead to behave the same way, it also appears to be quite good quality so I’ll give it 5 stars.
