Does exactly what you need it too. It’s quite satisfying to be able to peel the layers of paint off too! Just be sure to have plenty of airflow and cover your fire alarms as the heat it produces set mine off quite a few times!

We bought the heat gun to remove glued down cork tiles in our kitchen, having read that was a good way of softening the glue to help remove the tiles, the gun its self was nice to handle easy to use and came with all the clip on extras needed for stripping paint etc etc, and well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersStarted the awful task of stripping away layers of gloss paint from a banister. This product works well, even on the lowest heat setting (which is what I prefer). I didn’t use the attachments that it came with as I have my own, but It’s a nice addition. Used it a bunch of times and it works really well.

After the first one packed up, the seller offered to send me a replacement which I have now used for about 30 minutes straight and so far has been working as expected. The only downside I would say is the wire could be longer

    ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Packed up about 10 minutes after using it properly for the first time

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was surprisingly impressed with this gun. I bought it to quickly strip a window sill and the job was done in 10 – 15 minutes. The attachments are cheap and feel flimsy but did the job. The lead however is ridiculously short but the price of the gun made up for that; my extension lead helped there! Overall a great buy for a small job. Very pleased.

I use this to shrink wrap parcels before sending them ensuring a very tight and snug fit from the heat film.

No issues during use, its lightweight, easy and comfortable to use and operation is very simple. Perfect!

his gun heat is very handy for lots of jobs around the house, I like the fact that heats up very quickly melting everything u want to , has 2 settings but even the first setting is hot so be careful I will advise you to use safety gloves and maybe glasses too .the heat gun comes with 4 nozzles too , its is heavy and bulky so once again handle with care .

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is a great product. My wife wanted one as she’d seen a video where someone used it to refresh old/faded colouring on garden toys. I don’t know much about that sort of thing, but if you’re looking to strip some paint from somewhere, this is exactly the type of item you need.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis hot air gun seems to be quite well made. The materials do feel a little cheap, especially on the attachments, however they are good enough to do the job. At only 19.99 when writing, I think this is a great purchase, especially if for casual use every now and then. If you needed to use one commercially, I would probably look for something a bit higher quality.

In the box you get the gun with the attached power lead which is long enough however you may want to plug it into an extension lead. You also get the bag of attachments. The attachments are a nice feature for them to include as it allows you to change the shape, size or direction of the airflow which allows you to use the gun much more efficiently depending on what job you are using it for.
The metal that the attachments are made of is quite thin and can be easily bent. They are only meant to be used to direct airflow however so don’t have much reason to be any thicker, I would just be careful when storing and transporting them that they aren’t underneath anything heavy that could bend them out of shape.

Overall, if you only need a hot air gun for small projects every now and then, I think this is a great option however if you need one everyday for a job I would probably look for a higher end option.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis is a surprisingly great heat gun that is really good value, works really well and is very impressive. So this is a very low cost heat gun, I don’t I would be will to spend much less than this for a device like this, but I was not expecting to be very impressed by this, but actually it is surprisingly well made. The casing of the gun is really good, it feels strong and sturdy, it is also quite thick which helps reduce the effects of the heat where you don’t want it.

The heat gun gets hot extremely fast, literally within a few seconds it is uncomfortably hot and ready to get using. There are two heat settings which is nice to have. It also comes with a few attachments which are very useful for directing the heat to where you want it, these are a little cheap feeling but overall they are fine. For the price I’m definitely impressed by this heat gun, at the time of writing this it is less than 20 which is very good value.

Just what it should be. A good quality hot air gun with two settings of 425c and 600c.

4 different nozzles allow you to focus heat more and blow where you need to instead of dissipating the heat around.

The plastic feels sturdy and of good quality. The gun reaches the required temperature in a matter of minutes and you can start using it.

I I need you to keep gun so that I could disassemble cell phones due to adhesive and Bluetooth speakers and used shrink wrap with ease. Heats up extremely fast. Adjustable 2 settings Hello in Thai low and I believe six hundred something degrees Fahrenheit high is I think 12:00 or something around there many uses no weird smells from the heating element pretty darn quiet all in all well worth the money. Currently. True Value to be determined overtime. See if it continues to be useful for a long. Versus something that burns itself out in short time which I would expect from something so inexpensive compared to other sellers brands Etc

Works well and is easy to handle and comes with multiple attachments. Great Product and helps remove sticky label effortlessly. It heats up very quickly, two speed heat control is helpful.

This comes a great time for fixing my leaky conservatory.
The gun heats up in no time, and with 2 setting, melting those adhesive like butter.
Used it to removed the one, and fitting on the new one.
It is pretty hot even at first setting, do use it with care – heat resistance gloves and glasses.
This is also ideal for paint removing – the next project.
Also included 4 commonly use nozzles.
Price is good at 16 with voucher.

Yeegewin 1800W Heat Gun, Heavy Duty Hot Air Gun Kit Dual-Temperature Settings 426-600 with 4 Nozzles and Overload Protection for Crafts, Stripping Paint, Shrinking Tube and PVC.

This comes well presented in its own branded box, due to the good presentation its a good gift idea.

This is exactly as the description describes, so far it’s working perfectly as you would expect.

I’m finding this easy to use…. It heats fast and has 2 temperature settings.
It comes with 4 zozzle accessories.

This is very good for softening, repairs, soldering and desoldering and so much more, so many useful and such a handy useful heat gun.

The quality and durability is good and as for the price I think it’s very reasonable.
    Can most definitely reccomend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst impression:
This is a good-sized heat gun that comes with a number of tools for domestic application. I have used this type of heat gun before for bending PVC pipe (with a bending spring), plumbing, weeding and driveway repair. The gun looks substantial enough to cope on first look, without being unwieldly. The heat gun sits well in the hand, and although the activation switch is a bit prominent, it does not get in the way. The power lead seems appropriately sized for the power load it has to carry.

    Contents:
In the box you get the heat gun plus 4 metal tools that attach to the front on the heat gun. The instructions are good and in colour showing some possible uses.

    Application:
As I don’t have call to strip much paint, but the principal use I have for heat guns is for weeding and maintaining my driveway. Grass grows into the tarmac and damages it. The heat gun is ideal for burning out the weed roots and softening the surface in preparation to spot fix with some new tarmac. It is an easy process and works well. The gun was able to heat the clean tar surface until it just started to bubble, and then I trowelled in some more tarmac, hammered it down and applied another round of heat from the gun. I did all this on the high setting and the gun works very well in that application. In my little demo video, you can see that I picked up the heat gun the second time and soon had the tar smoking hot.

    What I liked:
There are two speeds or heat settings controlled by the switch in the trigger position, which is easily accessible. The cooler setting is sufficient to soften plastic if you are careful.
Quick warm up time. This was faster than my Black+Decker and allowed me to get on with the job without too much waiting, even when putting down the gun and picking it up again to continue.
There is a variety of tools to apply to the job at hand. There are two nozzles, which is perplexing, but I used the one with the narrower jet to do some spot weeding and the wide fan-shaped one for repairing my driveway.
The power chord is long enough to not be too restrictive when doing the job. The extension outlet just needs to be nearby.
The instructions are in colour and reasonably well written. Some of the content is wishful thinking, for example the picture of bending a PVC pipe that’s clearly copper, but I can be forgiving just to not see a single sheet of paper.

Anything I didn’t like so much:
The metal that the tools are made of is very thin compared to my Black+Decker model. The metal on these is less than mm thick and whilst serviceable in the short term, is easily bent out of shape. This is somewhat deliberate as the connection between the tools and the heat gun nozzle is push/spread fit, and some flexibility is useful. However, this is that same sort of fitting on my Black+Decker model and the fit is just better even with the thicker more durable metal. Just make sure that you have pushed the tools well home when they are cold as you don’t want them falling off when they get got.
There is no proper pipe soldering tool. This has a curved blade that hooks around the pipe and directs the heat all around. This is a common tool for a heat gun and is particularly useful for solder ring / Yorkshire / Conex fittings. You are definitely going to need a heat mat behind the joint that you are soldering. The flat bladed tool can be used for this purpose by bending the flat surface and this is how it is shown in the instructions, but it is not really big enough for that job.

    Conclusion:
I don’t doubt that the heat gun is good for stripping paint given the heat output — it was able to raise smoke from tarmac, and so paint should not be a problem. The tools did show some tarnish from the heat after a protracted period of use, but that is natural and happens with all heat guns. Altogether I am reasonably impressed and will carry on using it for other jobs as they come up.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Strong heat and quick warm-up time.

Basic heat gun but fully working up to certain level as expected. You could ask is there any accessories included ? I can confirm that yes they are ,is this heat gun is blowing hot air ?Yes it does, are they any design flaws or defects both internal hidden and external funcionality issues? Nope, none found . Anyway, the bottom line this is one working product fairly priced with accessories so there is nothing more left to do for me at my end rather than recommend it and hope it will last longer than manufacturer guarantee expires.Thanks.

The heat gun feels well made and comes with four nozzle attachments and a user manual. The heat gun plugs into a standard UK socket and has a three way switch on the handle which switches between Off, Low (300C) and High (600C). The tool is easy to hold and heats up to the required temperature within seconds. The four nozzle attachments are a wide nozzle, glass protection nozzle, reflecting nozzle and three layer focusing nozzle which should be good enough for most situations. The heat gun also has a loop near the handle for hanging up the gun when hot. A good heat gun to have in your tool collection, whether you need to heat shrink wrap or melt adhesive or many other uses.

I got this Yeegewin Heat Gun to help with paint removal and it works very well. It’s light and easy to manoeuvre. The heat gun comes with a few attachments to channel the hot air in different ways to aid with whatever task one might be engaged in. In use, the heat gun heated up quickly and was ready for use within a minute or two. The trigger switch allows for two levels of heat and off.
This heat gun is currently priced at 15.99 and I’m very happy with it.
