My dad has been using these because he suffers from cold feet and loves these. Because they’re not wired together and not a large unit, basically like normal socks, he’s got that freedom to move around and do things. They’re handy for these cold months

These socks seem well made and are very comfortable to wear, they are quite long, which is a style I personally don’t usually go for, but this would also made them suitable for use in boots. The battery packs slip into pockets on the sides of the socks, where the cable connector is kept. The connector is a barrel type, so you couldn’t plug these socks into a standard USB battery pack. Battery life seems decent anyway, even with the very compact battery packs. The heating on these socks is fantastic, I’m looking forward to trying these in the winter months, where I believe they’ll be an essential item.

Overall I really like these socks and find the very easy to recommend

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe socks come in a one size fits all size.

There are 3 temperature options and I tend to have mine on the middle setting when I wear my socks to the office, as it’s freezing in there. I find the highest temperature is too hot for my liking.

A battery is incorporated into each sock to keep it warm and it is located on the side of each sock, so it does feel strange. It’s not as weird now as it was when I first started wearing them, but it still feels strange each time I put them on. However, after 20 minutes or so of wearing them you do get used to that feeling again and tend to forget the batteries are there. They aren’t heavy, so it’s not like they are pulling the sock down to your ankles or causing it to droop or anything.

The batteries work by being charged and they last quite a while. I can get about 6/7 hours out of mine on average so it lasts me for most of my working day.

I have washed them after each use and they stay working perfectly fine afterwards. I like to wash them by hand just to be careful not to damage them, but they accidentally found their way into the washing machine on one occasion and they came out working perfectly fine.

They’ll definitely come in really handy when it starts to get bitterly cold!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTrekking in the chill, my feet remained comfortably warm thanks to these heated socks. The range of heating levels allowed for easy adjustments based on outdoor temperatures. The battery pockets stayed secure, even during intense activities, ensuring uninterrupted warmth.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI feel like most people will get them for use at home, especially with the living cost crisis. And it’s not a bad idea but I would strongly advise you wearing indoor shoes with them , otherwise you won’t really feel the heat when walking.
This is because the heated element is between your feet and the floor. If you wear shoes, it’ll warm the inside of the shoe as well as your foot and that’s what you’re looking for. If you don’t wear shoes, with every step you lose the heat because it dissipates on the floor.
Obviously fantastic if you’re cuddled up in bed or on the sofa , no need for shoes :D.

Now for the outdoor bit. They work the treat, really good for hiking. Pair these with waterproof hiking shoes and you’ve got yourself some very cosy feet !

Must mention that I haven’t noticed any annoying sounds or discomfort when walking. I am actually a bit surprised as I expected them to be a bit noisy.

I hope they last a long time, in which case I am happy with the price. The batteries charge quickly too and the cable you get in the box is a USB A that splits into 2 USB Cs so you can charge them both at the same time, using only 1 USB port.

Heated socks. Will come useful during hiking and those cold winter months. I plan to use them in the house as my feet tend to feel cold when I am working at my desk.
I am not exactly sure how you suppose to wash them considering there is a wire inside it. They do keep your feet warm.
I would say they are expensive for one pair of socks that heat your feet. Other than that the socks feel snug. Not sure about quality as there are a couple of strands so don’t know how durable they will be.

4.0 out of 5 stars Heated socks, they work, a bit expensive

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThese heated socks work on the same principle as the heated gloves and heated gilets that you can get.
I was a little concerned that the wires may prove to be annoying or the socks ill-fitting, but I need have had no such fears.
I have size 10 feet and these fit very nicely with no awkwardly placed seams.
The socks are of full calf length and are pleasantly and effectively grippy throughout.
Being full calf length they are also ideally suited for wearing with Wellington boots in the depths of winter.
The heating mechanism on the battery is straightforward to use and battery life appears decent enough.

I have tried two pairs of these heated socks from different brands.
At a penny shy of 30, these are the less expensive ones. For the most part I find it difficult to differentiate between the quality of these and the costlier ones, although the dearer ones may have a slight edge in terms of comfort … but whether that warrants an extra 20 is questionable!
I hope you find these comments helpful.

Tested these on one of the hottest days and they do get your feet toasty warm. Easy to use. Hopefully will survive the washing machine, too! Will be perfect for winter at home or out and about e.g. in wellington boots.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe likes: warm socks, heavy duty and practical. The battery pocket is tidy and very unlikely that the battery pack is going to fall out, the socks heat up all over, they are perfect for skiing.
There is a wash bag to wash them so it can keep them safe from damage. Easily charged and different levels of heat.
The dislikes: only one, you need to be aware that there is a electrical lead running through it therefore pulling them on like normal socks I would suggest is a big no, I feel this will break the wires over time the socks need to be rolled on/off..no big deal.
