It’s Yorkshire Tea, what more do I need to say? Every morning, every day. These giant bags are better value than you’ll find in any supermarket and they last as long as you have them. I have constantly restocked on these from amazon since I found them on here.

Always love this tea from the moment I bought it,it’s a strong cupp tea,ir whatever volume you’d like it to be bought bulk size as I’m afraid what I will do if I don’t have my black tea, worth the money to buy the bulk size, worth every penny, lasts quite a long time, and I drink plenty, would definitely recommend this company as I’ve only ever used Yorkshire te,more than satisfied

Wonderful tasting tea and very fast to brew compared to others I’ve tried. Great value with subscribe and save. If you work out how much tea you drink daily/ weekly you can subscribe and have tea delivered before you run out!

Fast shipping, subscribe & saves so never be without your favourite tea again.

Decided to make memory bags of my husband’s favourite things to give to friends at his wake and Yorkshire Tea was one of them. Ideal to use being in separate ‘envelopes’ and more hygienic than having to man handle into individual zip lock bags. Any remaining ones can be used if I go camping or travelling too.

I always buy these t.bags in bulk. A decent price and a lovely cup of tea. One bag would be strong enough to make 2 cuppas if in a teapot. I won’t use any other brand.

I recently purchased the Yorkshire Tea Bags 1.875 Kg and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with this product. Not only is it a great value for the amount of tea bags you get, but the taste is also exceptional. As an avid tea drinker, I have tried many different brands and flavors, but Yorkshire Tea has quickly become one of my favorites. The tea bags are easy to use and the perfect size for a delicious cup of tea. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves a good cup of tea.

We are a family of tea drinkers and like Yorkshire tea, sometimes use 1 teabag for 2 cups and it’s strong enough.
I think it works out about 2p a tea bag.
The only downside is that the bag is not resealable, which makes storing a hassle. I would have liked it more if packaging was reuse, recycle.
I don’t open bag very far to make closing easier, roll over corner and use a clothes peg.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe tea bags are fine, decent price and delivered to my door my issue is and I’m no eco fighter by far but when I order something that comes in a fairly sturdy bag itself and the item isn’t breakable or squashable I can’t for the life of me understand why it needs to be packaged in such a large box that could house three of these bags and then the wrapping card is literally about 6m long? Really? What about the cost of living or the planet and being green, yeah I reckon ita probably recycled BUT that doesn’t mean it’s needed and if recycled it will of cost money to be recycled so its a complete waste of time and effort and money on Amazon’s part and my time breaking it all down and then the cost to the tax payer for the bin men to collect it and recycle it all over again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fairly good value but the box is crazy big

Yorkshire Tea goes to great lengths to make tea properly — from tasting 1000s of teas a day, to thinking about the water you’ll brew it with at home. built close relationships with brilliant tea gardens which share their love of fairness, flavour and quality, and they trade in a way that respects people and the planet. Why? Because it makes a proper difference.
How to Make The Perfect Cup Of Tea
    1) Run the tap a little so the water’s nicely aerated, and only boil it once to keep the oxygen level up. Oxygen in water helps flavour!
    2) Pop a tea bag into your mug, pour over the hot water and stir briefly.
3)Tea needs time to unlock all its flavour, so give it 4-5 minutes to do its thing.
    4) Before removing the tea bag, gently squidge it against the side of the mug. Just the once, mind — if you really mash it, it’ll taste bitter.
    5) You may like a splash of semi-skimmed or whole milk, but your brew is unique to you — so add milk, sugar, honey, lemon or nothing at all. Most importantly, enjoy!
    6) So when should you add the milk? It’s an issue that divides tea drinkers into two camps: those who pour the milk into their mug first (Miffys) and those who pour their tea in before the milk (Tiffys). Like the Montagues and the Capulets, these warring factions may never see eye to eye — but the truth is that this great debate can be solved in less time than it takes to dunk a digestive.

It’s all a question of heat. Tea brews best in very hot water, but adding milk cools things down. So if you’re brewing tea directly in a mug, it’s better to add the milk last, after it’s brewed. And if you’re brewing in a teapot, the order doesn’t matter at all — it’s just a question of personal preference!

About half of UK Yorkshire Teabags are now plant-based.

That’s all the boxes in sizes 40, 160 and 240, and it applies to normal Yorkshire Tea as well as Yorkshire Gold, Yorkshire Tea Decaf and Yorkshire Tea for Hard Water.

Boxes of 210 are close behind and by the summer their boxes of 80 tea bags should all be plant-based too.
Tea bags aren’t the only thing that’s changing. All their products are now carbon-neutral, and what they want next is for all their packaging to be “circular” — which means made from renewable, plant-based or recycled materials, and reusable, recyclable or compostable after use.
Yorkshire Tea is replacing the oil-based plastic that seals their tea bags with a plant-based plastic called polylactic acid, or PLA.

PLA is a newer form of plastic, made from plants (like cornstarch) instead of fossil fuels, which can be industrially composted by local councils. It’s the material that most of the UK tea industry is switching to or has already switched to.

It’s better for the environment than oil-based plastic — as long as it goes in the right bin.
