Has Windows 11 which I was a little concerned about. I’m in my 70’s and didn’t want to start learning “how to” all over again. I needn’t have worried. It is very intuitive. The support videos are easy to watch and can be experienced in small bites. Yup, love this laptop.
I purchased this Acer Aspire computer to replace a previous purchase which lasted for years and this one is proving to be of the same excellent standard. Good value for money too when compared with other manufacturers which are more expensive. Highly recommended.
Bought this laptop to replace a 10 year old laptop that finally gave up the ghost in the Prime Day sales and so far it seems to be working well! Quick enough to do everything that I need to do far, Photoshop, light gaming, works well with having multiple things open at once. The keyboard and trackpad are decent, as is the screen.
Cons: The sound is quite tinny, my old laptop that I replaced with this had much better speakers. It’s not awful but worth noting.
It would be nice if it had a third USB port and an SD card reader, but you get what you pay for!
Overall, very happy with it!
The Laptop is really fast with decent screen quality the only 2 issues i have with it are that it uses LPDDR5 so you can’t upgrade the RAM and the WiFi card isn’t compatible with Linux although it was really easy to replace it with one that is. I currently have EndeavourOS with BSPWM installed on it and it’s even more fast and responsive while running much cooler and quieter than it does with Windows.
