Goes on evenly and cleanly, not too sticky like some products and still performs well. Cannot see any temp changes vs previous high end paste, and this comes in considerably cheaper. Unless you are regularly changing parts, this will last for many years.
This is an incredibly underrated thermal paste that has amazing results! It’s on par with thermonaut in terms of cooling performance and is very easy to apply. Only time will tell what the longevity is like, but I’m very happy with the performance thus far. Would recommend!
I was given a hand-me-down Mac Pro 2010 and noticed that I already had a similarly old server knocking around – with six core processors instead of the quad cores in the Mac Pro.
Given that server is basically e-waste at this stage I decided to transfer across the processors, cleaned off the old paste and applied a layer of this new stuff – it all went on nicely, and there was plenty for a fresh coat for all four processors with more to spare.
Unfortunately I can’t give you a temperature comparison and it wouldn’t really count for much given the processors have changed anyway, but the Mac is working great and has a bit more grunt with the upgraded processors.
I changed my AIO to an air cooler, but the new cooler had no pre-applied paste. after using this i can see an actual drop in temps compared to my 5 year old radiator.
Thermal paste , does the job , always handy to have for changing CPU’s or coolers . This seems to be decent quality and I’ve used it when changing my cpu no problems .
This is a Korean thermal paste and the general opinion from whatever benchmarks I can find and translate is that it’s actually top performer and competes with the top two brands.
It’s very hard to gauge the minor differences between pastes without a professional setup, hours of benchmarks and loads of reapplication but what I ‘can’ tell you is that it performs just as well as any other upper tier paste on my Ryzen 5700x.
For the average user this stuff is absolutely fine and gives good results. If you are into competitive overclocking then you’re likely off doing way more research on everything available instead of simply looking at Amazon reviews.
This is a syringe full of thermal paste to be used between chips and heatsinks for good heat dissipation. It is supplied with a small spatula for spreading – largely unnecessary in reality, but a nice thought.
Seems to work ok and reasonably priced.
The paste comes well packaged with a spreading tool and business card that is a handy plastic that can be used too.
Applying was ok but it’s quite thick and drys quickly so it was more hassle in this regard to others I’ve used.
As for its thermal conducting properties I can’t comment until I’ve had it longer , but it is working so far. I’ll report back if I have any issues.
At just under eight pounds I expect it to work well for a long time , we shall see.
Update: had this in for a few days now , working very well with my AMD 6500x
