    Enables superior grip with controllers.
I am very pleased with these controller accessories. Shrouds each controller in a comfortable pouch with a strap that maintains a consistent grip to the controller that prevents dropping one by accident’s. Cliche, but truly a game changer.

As advertised but a bit hard to change the batteries
Overall they are great but I removed 1 star for two issue that could be solved. One it is rather difficult to change the batteries. Second they are just thick enough that they do not fit in the meta case. That’s a smaller issue but still could not put 5 stars with these issues

    Good upgrade
These have made a massive difference to my VR experience. They feel great in the hand and take away the feeling of sweaty hands. It’s also great with the knuckle strap so you can fully release the controller without it dropping as apposed to the conventional wrist strap.

    Great product.
The Controller Grips Cover for the Quest 3 is a game-changer in the world of virtual reality. Its comfort is unparalleled, providing a sturdy grip that enhances the overall gaming experience. The ability to easily let go of the Quest 3 controllers adds a layer of convenience that is much appreciated.

The Version 2 with the battery lid is a significant improvement. The ease of replacing batteries when they need charging is a godsend, eliminating any interruptions during gameplay. The design also cleverly reduces the chance of accidentally activating the grip button, a feature that many users will find beneficial.

This product is what Meta should have designed and released. It’s a testament to thoughtful design and user experience, proving that sometimes, the best innovations come from understanding the user’s needs and improving upon existing designs.

All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this product. It has not only met but exceeded my expectations, providing an enhanced VR experience that is both comfortable and efficient. A must-have for any Quest 3 user.

    Very good grips
After using knuckle straps on my quest 2, I did miss them when using the quest 3 controllers. I play Beat Sabre, Pistol Whip and HL Alyx, and didn’t feel overly confident using without the straps. These are extremely good. Well reviewed, and very comfortable. There are cut outs for the lower sensors and I haven’t noticed any tracking issues. Well recommended.

    Bye bye quest pro controllers!
Let me first start off by saying I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to put this out here because I’m throughly impressed by this product. I’ve been using my quest pro controllers for the quest 3 and I have never found a grip cover that was completely comfortable, and always had to stop and adjust the covers to realign them to the cameras and buttons. Switching to these grips meant I had to also switch to use the quest 3 controllers. However, these grips are such a great fit, so comfortable, and simply an ingenious design, with easy access to the battery, and no slippage or loss of tracking, it has made me ditch the quest pro controllers permanently. Hats off to the designers of these grips, these are a showcase of great design and engineering.

    Very pleased
Very pleased with these, they are super comfortable and offer decent all around protection. I’ve been using them for a few weeks and the tracking still appears to work perfectly. Perfect fit and feel good quality. Would definitely recommend.

    Excellent quality product!
OK well these grips are fantastic. A perfect fit and do not seem to affect tracking. They were a little bit pricey maybe, but there have been deals, and you do get a good product for price. I think they may be cheaper on the AMVR website.

The design is good, they have new battery covers to replace the Meta 3 covers and some tie tabs which you slip under the battery itself. Then the silicone sleeve goes on and has a flap acting as battery door. There is also a little hole which lines up with the batter cover to act as an anchor.

All in all, a good product that I’m very happy with, as it gives me confidence when playing games like Beat Saber much more than the default wrist straps.

    Nice fit.
These fit so much better than the stock fit. I think they are comfortable although not quite as nice as some others I had for the Quest 2. The battery fitting is good but I do not trust the battery removal strip will last. However, overall this is an improvement on the original handles.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you like silicone grips these are very good
I’ve always been a fan of AMVR products and these grips are very well made. They are one of the few that don’t occlude the sensors at all, and also have a cut out for the sensor at the bottom of the grip handle. Tracking is not affected in the slightest.

Fitting was easy. There is a custom battery cover which leaves the battery exposed so you can access it through a flap in the silicone cover, and it also has a locating tab to help keep the cover in position. You just fit the battery cover then slide the sleeve over the top and locate the tab on the battery door into a cutout on the sleeve. You then fit the battery over a supplied pull tab to help you remove it when needed (you also get spare tabs in the box). Then there’s a flap in the cover which clicks nice and snugly over the battery. It’s all very well thought out and feels good when fitted.

The silicone is just the right hardness and feels nice in the hand. The straps are comfortable enough but quite firm with no stretch. Adjustment is via Velcro which is normal for these things. The straps hold tight and grip the knuckles without a problem. The silicone is quite thick and offers excellent protection (something i was grateful for after smashing them into a chair on a Bear Saber frenzy!) but it also adds thickness to the controller. This may or may not be a good thing depending on your hands. I have smallish hands and found them a bit chunky although you do get used to it after a while.

The other problem with full body covers is that when the grip and trigger buttons are fully depressed they go below the level of the cover which means your fingers edges kind of catch on the rubber as you push them in. Initially this really niggled me but after a period of adjustment I didn’t really notice it any more. Neither of these things are a fault with this product, just a side effect of having full body covers.

It’s a shame white ones weren’t available as having black controllers kinda triggers my OCD but you don’t see them in VR so i guess it doesn’t matter.

Another thing I noticed was that AMVR seem to have stopped using press studs to secure the straps to the grips. They are now riveted meaning it would be much more difficult to replace the straps down the line.

Overall these are some of the best silicone covers I’ve seen. I would definitely recommend them.

    Top Quality
30 seems a lot for a bit of silicone and velcro, but these are high quality grips that feel well made and more importantly very secure. They come with a mounting clip that is used to align the silicone cover, meaning that there is no movement of the silicone cover. Much more comfortable than the default wrist strap and being able to release your grip on the controller during long gaming sessions is game changing.

How does this not have 5 stars?!
The absolute best you can buy, trust me I’ve just bought 7 various ones from Amazon and these are far superior in every way. The design and craftsmanship is incredible. For some reason the photos don’t show that the grips come with a black plastic panel that fit perfectly into the new release system on the quest 3 controllers and there’s a plastic arm that extends which acts as a mounting point for the top part of the controller cover so that it fixes in to place and there’s no movement. These are superior to meta’s own ones (and others of a similar design) as you’re not solely relying on the new push to release mechanism from holding all together/in place, which if you ask me is a recipe for disaster (I for-see plenty of broken mechanisms/broken mounting clips). Get these, you won’t regret it.

    AMVR QUALITY AS PER NORMAL
I have used there 1st gen on the q2 and even the better 2 gen on the q2 so it was a no brainer to go for these for my q3. I have had many grips of all makes popular and none popular but nothing has came close to AMVR grips in my opinion. Fit great, comfort and secure.
