It took him a couple of days to warm up to it because he was so used to cat food that was not “real food”… but now he’s hooked, won’t eat anything else.

My cats absolutely adore this product. Have tried many other types but I end up throwing them away but not with Applaws. They eat every last bit!

We use Applaws because we know we’re giving quality food to our cats. They love the taste and it keeps them happy, healthy and ready for mischief!

My cat is extremely fussy but I started looking down the route of good food for my boy and we haven’t looked back he eats every last bite ( he has a good dry food and gets two heaped teaspoons morning and night ) and freeze dried chicken and duck treats

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI love the quality of Applaws 100% Natural Wet Cat Food, Tuna Fillet with Pacific Prawn in Broth. Both of my cats fans – even the finicky one who doesn’t like fish. The quality looks (almost) good enough to eat. I love the little whole prawns. They are larger than another brand’s similar product. My ragdoll loves the prawns and sweetly purrs when eating this. Two empty bowls every time I serve this – which is the best rating I can give.

It’s a good quality cat food and I used to buy it on occasions for my previous cat. Decided to give it a try with current pet but he just didn’t like it. Think it may have been too ‘wet’ for him. The neighbourhood cat woofed it down in no time though……

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersMy philosophy on cat food has always been, I’d prefer to pay a few pence extra, for every pouch of food, my cat therefore eats better, and at the end of the year, I save that money and more, by avoiding expensive vet bills. So far, so good.
You only need to read the contents of this particular food, and the contents of various other products (including some of the “big brands”) to understand why this can really matter.
My cat absolutely loved this food, and she is definitely a little bit of a fussy eater, but I maintain, she’s just got a taste for “proper food” Vs junk, and she don’t like junk.
While I’m not a vet, or a doctor, or a state certified anything, I am someone with common sense who loves his cat, and it makes good sense to feed them natural food, even if it does cost a bit extra. I still think it works out much cheaper in the long run, when you factor in vetinary bills, not to mention the cat enjoys the food, and avoids the associated stress of needless ill health.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy cat loves this food. Recently though I had some correspondence with Applaws because I was concerned about this feline poly something that’s led to some product withdrawals and I was unable to source and chicken in jelly. Chicken in mousse yes, but that is not very substantial. And in that correspondence they told me that the recipe had changed and it was no longer a complete food. Now why would they do that? To force more sale, of the biscuits? Feeding biscuits to a senior cat doesn’t seem a good idea – teeth and kidney issues more likely And anyway, the blurb on the wrapping still says ‘complete cat food’, as does the blurb on this site. So if they have made this iffy decision than they should be altering their labelling shouldn’t they. Trust rating has plummeted

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI got introduced to this product by the shelter I got my cat from its her favourite flavour and thats important. It could be cheaper of course but you pay for quality. I haven’t tried this but I think you could serve it to humans in a salad without complaint it looks like nice fish. Flavour is a guess as the cat eats it not me. Give the economy more time to tank and well…

The one fly in the ointment is the Woeful graphics. White writing on pale turquoise is almost completely unreadable! So is the small pint which really is small! Us older buyers can’t see this writing which is how I got back from the shops with the kitten version the other day… It’s a can of cat food not an art form so can we have the flavour and whether senior, kitten, jelly or whatever in decent readable type in a properly contrasting colour please?
