Realistic science experiment!! Great for 5+
My 5 year old kept seeing these and asked for them forever!! The price on Amazon was much better than other stores. It needs batteries but then you g through the steps to “create” your beast. Its very interactive!
You can turn off the steam/fog.
Only thing that I wish the manufacturer did was make it where you could buy the other figurines. They sell the science kit to redo the experiment but to get another figure you have to buy an entirely new lab.
There are only 2 different figures in each animal category so its a 50% chance you will get the same one again.

J’ai achet beast lab mon fils de 4 ans et il tait trs content.
Il voulait beaucoup avoir le requin Gris megashark mais malheureusement il a eu le requin marteau bleu.
C’est dommage qu’on ne peut pas choisir nous les parents d’avance le requin qu’on veut tout en gardant la surprise notre enfant.
Peut – on quand mme le savoir en avance y- a-t-il des indices ?

Other reviews a bit over the top
I purchased two of these for my two boys (4&6) for Christmas. It was expensive. I was worried and second guessing the purchase as I read through all negative reviews pre Christmas.
In the end it was a huge Hit with both boys. We all sat down together and went through the steps and they had a blast. It is NOT single use and you don’t have to buy refill kits to continue to enjoy the toys. The actual lab and the beast are high quality, and I’m not sure why it seems so many people are having issues with them. The boys love playing with the beasts and the labs AFTER the experiment.
It’s expensive , but the boys loved it. Great product and high quality. I would take the over the top negative reviews with a grain of salt. Great experience. I would think a more reasonable price tag for the toy would be around 50$ , I bet it would have tempered the parental expectations of a REAL beast being created
My son is almost 6 and he thought this was so cool! He sees my daughter get to play with her magic mixies so it was nice for him to be able to experience a toy like that.

I knew it would be a big hit for my 7yr old but was concerned about value seeing as how expensive it is. Very happy to say the repeatability of doing the experiment has been so much fun for him, even without the ingredients to pour in. He’s shown every one in the family. Might get him some ingredient refill kits for Christmas. What would be great is if you could buy new figure kits too I don’t want to buy another beast lab just for a different figure.
