Great bass
These headphones have some great bass and can really shine through with their sound quality, the sound was crisp and it’s an all round great experience, the headphones are comfortable and you get a nice reminder when they’re low on battery, it’s convenient in every way, they’re light and yet super durable, great price too

Best headphone I’ve brought on pair 2 now but for the amount I put them through and everyday use gym work these aren’t on point. Battery last well and there comfy
Not a bad set of head phones
Got these for lisening to music on my laptop while DJing, I had tried others but found these worked well and the volume was good so I could hear the track i was going to play next.
I had spent weeks deciding on which headphones to buy as the ones I wanted had been discontinued. I am very particular about bass, and hardly any of the reviews mentioned bass until I found the reviews on the Betron S2. Still took a chance but absolutely made the right decision. Bass is excellent, deep and not distorted, sound is clear, and headphones are light, and not tight fitting, and look smart too. I would definitely recommend these if you want a great sound at a very competitive price! No point in spending hundreds of pounds!! Top marks, top marks!
Excessive Bass
Overall, you get what you expect + decent quality (2022) for the price. But. Forget any sort of HiFi unless you are into insane bass lift. Now I play music on my Android phone with ArmAmp (a player with emphasis on audio fidelity) and this has an equaliser. For music I know, I needed to put in -15dB at 30, 60, 120 Hz and -10, -5 dB at 250, 500 Hz. Now it sounds about right, in fact good. Otherwise drum riffs blow yr head off and sound vey wrong.
Used with YT or other sources? Very, very, very boomy. Think tho will keep to take to gym as will use ArmAmp to play music.
This is the second set of headphones bought , the fist were for a friend and this was for myself happy with delivery the next day despite being a Saturday still delivered as promised the next day Sunday .
The set up is quick and easy to do and can be paired easily , once paired and Bluetooth is on they connect automatically to paired device , sound quality is good as is call sound when using as a hands free calling .
I would recommend them to anyone that wants bluetooth headphones for music or calls at a reasonable price that is just as good as other high priced named brands
Awesome for that price
Of course there are some issues, here, like the bluetooth losing its connection if you go further that 2 meters or the Japanese electronic voice that I can barely understand, or the thing that they are not foldable so you can’t really bring them around (unless hanging them at your neck all the time – perfect during summer) or the very cheap aspect…
But the sound is very very nice and you can control everything from the right bud. I use them at home and they are perfect for that. At that price too. I would honestly buy them again – if they won’t break in 2 weeks.
Sturdy enough for a 12 year old!
I bought these for a 12 year old who has broken every other pair of headphones he’s had. I could not stand listening to the music from his games anymore. These headphones are great for him because they fit comfortably on his head and over his ears, are easy to charge up and have even managed to withstand him sitting on them when he leaves them lying around. He loves them and it allows him to have the sound up on his games or on the rare occasion he listens to music.
The only downside is they give him an excuse to ignore me when I speak to him because he can’t hear me!!

Compared to the wired headphones i use indoors i was a little dissapointed at first but gradualy warmed to them.Given the price they perform very well no glaring faults or over exagerated bass just pretty nutural.Ive seen mention of the lack of comfort on wearing them for long periods,i’ve not found them a problem at all.If your on a budget but want something of good quality i’d say go for it,dont forget listening via bluetooth is always a compromise anyway
Good headphones for the price
I bought the headphones again after my first pair lasted for about 3 years. Happy with them, the pads feel premium and they last long enough on battery. They connect super easily across Bluetooth devices – easy to change between.
Disadvantages: find them pretty loud on lowest setting (might be just my phone), the sound breaks up very occasionally for a half a second, but noticeable. Volume/skip control changed from my last pair – now you have to press longer to skip.
I bought these for my disabled son who uses them with his amazon tablet. Prior to buying these we bought him (several) pairs of cheaper headphones. These cheaper pairs had plastic head bands which would inevatbly break with a few weeks use (he is quite heavy handed with them). These Betron cost slightly more than the cheaper ones but they are FAR better. The headband and the connection to the earpieces are metal. They have been banged about, thrown about and generally treated very badly and they continue to work. The pair he has been using was purchased back in November 2020 and they are still working now (July 2021). We would have gone through several pairs of cheaper headphones over this time span which would have costed much more than the single pair of Betron’s he has been using.
Good technical specs below average ergonomics
Speaking in terms of the specifications, totally what I was looking for. Great sound quality, mic is working well and can be used wireless and wired.
However, there are some disadvantages in terms of the usability and comfort. After a while, the pads start to hurt your ear and makes it harder to use for long term.
The headband is not adjustable which makes it harder to be used by different variety of people. Although I am not a big person, I’d prefer it to be a little bit larger.
Overall, great specifications but below average ergonomic.
I bought these for when i’m out walking and so far haven’t worn them for more than about 90 minutes at a time. That said, they’re light and comfortable and fit my head very well. I suspect they’d take a drop or two as they’re metal framed, but i haven’t been that careless yet.
Pairing them with my phone was a doddle – done in less than a minute.
It’s hard to fault the sound – yes, i have better headphones in that dept, but i payed a heck of a lot more than 23 for those, and they’re wired. The sound is also inaudible to someone a few feet away (my wife for example, who can hear a bottle of beer being opened at 100ft), and that’s useful if you plan to use them indoors, or have embarrassing music tastes (for reasons i won’t go into, i found myself listening to rap a couple of days ago and i wanted to be sure no-one could tell).
All in all, these headphones are ace, and not just because they’re cheap, although that does certainly help.
Good but with small issues.
GOOD POINTS:
The Betron headphones themselves are of decent construction. They feel solid, yet light and the muffs sit on, rather than over, the ear. This makes wearing them comfortable for longer periods. The sound they give is really good and is more than loud enough if a little theatre/hall effect (slight echo?!)
BAD POINTS:
Lip sync! After about 30mins or so the sync of picture and sound is far enough out to make it really noticeable. Think old-time Chinese martial arts movies, only they’re better because it’s only speech that’s wonky, with the sound lag it’s all sound. This can be fixed (apparently) by using them wired but what’s the point of buying Bluetooth then (see below for further issue)? Also, not so great a point is how the headset will occasionally refuse to connect to the tv (we have a Toshiba). Seems to be random. Lastly, and probably rather minor, the cable to use wired is only approx 1m long so buyers will need to purchase an extension or replacement to suit your needs.
Overall, the Bad points seem to outway the good, at least looking at them on paper, but that would do the headphones an injustice. They are actually quite good for what they are meant for. For listening primarily to music these would be absolutely fantastic for the price and the small cable wouldn’t be an issue. For watching tv, if the sound lag and occasional connectivity issues put you off, you may need an extension or maybe just go for a full wired set. If that’s an option for you.
For under 20 you’d be hard pushed to find better set of bluetooth wireless headphones than these! They’re reasonably comfortable, well made, sound great given the price and they connected immediately with my iPhone 8+ and MacBook Pro. Really can’t ask anything more for under 20 quid delivered.
I wanted a set for listening to my MacBook and iPhone late evenings as I’m winding down to sleep, mostly audiobooks, radio and the odd film so these are really meant for speech was opposed to music. For music I have a nice set of Grados so the S2s will not be used for that purpose and I wouldn’t expect them to produce audiophile quality playback but that said, over time I’ll test them with some good quality music files and see how they do. The reason I wanted wireless headphones particularly is the headphone jack on the newer MacBook Pros is abysmal and won’t even maintain a contact with any of my headphone jacks, Grados included so wireless was a must. I’m sure these Betrons are rebranded Chinese cans and the same ones are probably available under different names at differing prices. Either way, tho, I’m pleased with these and received a better set of headphones than I’d expected.
UPDATE
I’m still very pleased with these headphones and they’re going strong. I’ve removed a star from them, however, as the padding around the ears makes them uncomfortable to use for all but short periods. It’s fixable, tho! If you take the pads off the speakers you’ll find around 7-8mm foam donuts. Those are not particularly helpful for ear comfort. I added a 10mm solid (not donut) piece of soft foam to these and the comfort is now as I need it. A side effect is the treble is reduced and bass increased, which I personally prefer. These were not purchased to listen to music but to listen to podcasts and e-books. The sound is much more pleasant now.
Betron S2 wireless
I bought his as I wanted a decent headset, for a decent price and wow, Betron do deliver on all of these fronts. the quality is really good, and I’m know sound specialist, but the sound quality is very clear even in my daily noisy commute in the train. Headset fits firmly on my ear and head, no issues so far and I carry it on my bag when not in use, and there have been no issues. The wireless works well (quick connect, no issues), and battery do last a long time, charging is a doddle.
One thing I did notice though is that the music on high volume can bleed out from the earphones, but very minutely and only when on high volume, this is not a negative just thought to advice people if they prefer privacy (or not be a nuisance) to what they want to listen.
I would recommend this to anyone, no issues, the delivery is fast and secured, comes with a good manual.
It’s early days so not able to give a proper assessment on the performance of the headphones themselves, however first impressions – they are well made they have a feel of quality about them, I find them visually appealing and they fit snugly without clamping themselves to your head. I have not tested extended wear but from the fit I suspect they might not be as comfortable as using over the ear clams. The sound is clear, I have played a range of genre to get a sense of the performance of the dynamic range. They are pretty impressive the vocals are clean the bass is fat and punchy, the mid range and tops are well catered for even at low volume.
My headphones came with some charge, but I put them to charge straight away, again this was easy to do, a small rubber plug seals the USB socket and this was easy to open and it did not obstruct the cable. Setup is fairly straight forward, switch on headset and from your phone/device initiate scan for Bluetooth devices select S2 and it connects without any dramas. The volume control is easy to use, I have not yet tested the inline cable or using it to make or receive calls.
My one gripe with these headsets is there no way of quickly using them with a different phone/device. They automatically reconnect to the device they were last connected to – this is great! if you only use them with one device. I have 2 that I have paired them with and potentially have a 3rd, as it is you have to disconnect it from one device (to be expected) but then you have to turn off BT on that device to prevent it automatically reconnecting before you connect it to your other device this (is is a pain!) is time consuming. The introduction of an additional button that acted as a Bluetooth(BT) reset and a play button would have been the icing on the cake! I will update the review with the extended wear and receiving and making calls – at some point. Extended wear update, firstly I have to say the battery life is outstanding; however after a couple of hours wear you know the phones have been on your head, I guess this is the price for them staying in place! If you are looking for good build quality headphones and good sound then these are for you!
I only have a week with this headphones but so far sooooooo good! As the other positive reviews say, these headphones sound quite good; bass is not too low, not too high, just fair enough; the battery complies with more than the 10 hours stated by the seller; they look as very expensive headphones; no lickage unless the volume is too high (which anyway you should not do it); the volume change “steps” allow you to find the perfect volume level you need; remote control works fine; they’re confortable; they are very comfy, I can use them for several hours (and they don’t make me sweat); they don’t fall (no matter how much I move); they pair extremely easy;they include aux and USB cable; you can use the AUX cable in case you run out of battery; they don’t fold (but the size is nice anyway to carry); they don’t include any sort of bag or case; the MIC works fine and I can have conversations while working or cooking (but it’s true that it picks a lot of environment noise if you are in a busy place); they arrived the day after the order placement.
Overall, I’m really satisfied for these amazing headphones that cost less than 20 pounds but I’m sure they worth much more!!!! Even my girlfriend wants to steal them! 🙂
I bought three Betron headsets previously and loved all of them. The sound is always very good, reliable, clear, strong bass. And the mics tend to work well also.
Buying the B2 has been a slightly different experience. The sound is still excellent and the build is of very decent quality. But Bluetooth has been an issue. Connection drops several times during the playback of a song. Sometimes there is a long break, like 20 or 30 seconds. At first i thought it might be the interference of Bluetooth devices in cars I pass by, but I tested it in remote environments and the problem persists, even with the phone being at 50 cm from the headphone with nothing to block the signal. I have also tested the phone with other Bluetooth devices and there’s no problem at all.
The wired connection works great though, so it is still a very good headphone.
