Packaged in a resealable bag, it feels pleasingly weighty and solidly constructed. The USB 3.0 connecter’s faster transfer speed is definitely welcome over slower 2.0 but if the plugged-in cable isn’t a USB 3.0 one or better, the increased data rate won’t be realised.
Using this to connect various USB-C and Lightning port–equipped iPhones and iPads to an elderly Windows 10 laptop and 2015 MacBook Pro, syncing and transferring files was problem-free. Charging devices while plugged into different USB-A power adapters is also painless. I would recommend this item for its performance and simplicity, however as I stated initially, the change of product on the website is a clear and obvious issue.
Handy for the car !
I got this product so I could access car play and charge my phone in the car. It’s been great so far and has made it very easy to charge my phone and access car play etc. The adaptor is also a good size meaning it does take up loads of room in the docking area of the car.
Compact adapte
This little adapter is compact, lightweight and slim. It allows me to use a USB-C cable connected to a USB3 socket in a speaker. Great for travelling as it’s so small. It is a little pricy compared to other similar adapters.

I used this to plug in a USB-C cable device into an old style USB-A socket and for this it worked well. 5 stars.
Perfect for charging - did the job for me.
This USB to USB C adapter is just what I needed. I have a portable Apple Watch charger which will do about 3 watch charges, but for a longer holiday I need to recharge it – it’s ideal for trips in our VW camper where we are sometimes off grid and I don’t want a lot of trailing charging leads on the small piece of worktop. It needs a USB C socket but our van only has the larger USB sockets – this adapter is perfect. Please note I have only used it for charging, not transferring data.
B to C - job done
These are excellent widgets to have around, mainly as our new tech around the house has USB ‘C’ and some older chargers or tech uses ‘B’. I use this on my headphones and mic so I can use a ‘C’ port on my PC, rather than the B port that I would rather use for my mouse. It’s well made, the socket and plug have a good bite. recommended.
Cheap adapter for USB-C devices such as some SSDs
Having bought an SSD which only had a USB-C to USB-C cable, this was needed in order to connect it to a USB port on a PC.
Once plugged in, it was no different in speed than when I’d used a different cable. It does reach USB 3.0 speeds as advertised so no concerns there.
Cost is just 5, so all good.
Great little adapte
I often see adapters to turn a USB A plug into a USB C plug – which is all fine and dandy, but it’s rare to find one the other way around, so this is a very useful little beastie … plug a new fangled USB C lead into it and then plug it in to your steam powered USB A device 🙂

Essential
With there being so many cables that come usb c to usb c having a convertor has become an essential for me. Admittedly this is not the most attractive looking adaptor, but it does exactly what it is designed to do at that is the important thing. Worth grabbing as these adaptors are going to be a must have for many people now.
Fully wired USB 3.0
As you can see from the photo with it connected to a Treedix USB tester (in conjunction with a Cable Matters USB 4 cable) this is a fully-wired USB-A to USB-C adapter, passing both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 data lines through to the USB-C port.
If you need to hook up a USB-C device to a USB 3.0 port (or possibly a USB 2.0 port depending on the device) at full speed, this is the adapter for you. I’ll be adding it to my cable testing set.

A little divice that just works. Ideal if you run out of USB-C ports (or don’t have one) but need to connect a USB-C device.

Handy for av input output on many devices without having to dig around in drawers for the right cable. Well constructed, the ports are quite tight and hold the cables well whilst at the same time being smooth and easy to use.

A great USB C to A adapter. With so many items coming with USB C to C cables it’s great to be able to convert one end to attach to my desktop charging hub without the need to scrabble around for another cable. It also is data compatible, so no worries with that. I got this alongside an A to C adapter and now I have way more options for data, devices and charging throuhg a LOT less cables to carry. At 5 for a single unit this isn’t a cheap purchase for one item, especially when it’s so small and easy to lose or leave behind – so take good care of it !!
Easy Converte
This is a USB C to USB 3 converter. It arrived in a plastic bag.
It is small, and well made. It works perfectly, there is no performance decrease on the device, it’s as if it was not there.
Maybe it is a little pricey considering you get just one for 5 but these are very useful things to have if you are out of USB C ports on your device.
USB A to USB-C Adapte
It does the job, I plug this into the charger and plug my USB-C cable for my little screen in to this and it works.
It is a bit longer than other alternatives, which may cause issues in some scenarios where space is limited.
Not much more to say about this, it does what you expect without a problem.
Useful to have around
I’m using this on the charging cable for a VR headset that needs an adaptor. It is plug & play and works perfectly. Being USB 3 you will also have fast speeds if you need it for file transfers. It’s not expensive and useful to have available.
Quick and handy adapter, check orientation for best speeds.
I always find I can do with some more of these little adapters, being able to stick a square peg into a round hole is always handy in an emergency.
This adapter fully supports USB3 SuperSpeed, but make sure you may need to flip the USB-C device or cable over to trigger SuperSpeed. A utility like USBTreeView will tell you what speed you are running. This is not a fault of the device, more a quirk of how USB-C gets implemented on certain things. This will replace another similar adapter that only runs at USB2 speeds as my go to adapter.
Very handy to convert a Type-A USB port to USB-C for charging AND data
I have a 4-port USB3.0 (Type-A) hub plugged into my laptop’s USB-C socket, and it also has a USB-C pass-through port, but it only supports charging not data. In future I will make sure I get a hub which also has a USB-C data port but in the meantime this little adapter is an easy solution, I can use one of the four Type-A USB3.0 ports as full USB-C. This works great with my Realme Android phone for charging and data transfer using the original USB-C to USB-C cable supplied with the phone.

A USB A plug to USB C socket adapter, suitable for converting a USB C cable to a USB A connection, which it’s great for CarPlay, as the cars socket is a USB A.
Being small they don’t take up much room or stick out too far from the USB A socket.
They support fast charging and also data transfer and can be used for many on many other devices with this socket eg computers or laptops etc.
These simple connectors really helped be get over a problem I had connecting C cables to A sockets, so I’m happy to recommend these adapters.

Does what it says on the tin- saved me buying another stereo with wireless CarPlay (for now) the tiny screen in my car deserves an upgrade next year. Wireless CarPlay can’t be complimented enough!

Aufwerten eines Autos mit wenig Geld
Vorerst sollte man beachten, dass es nur bei Fahrzeugen geeignet ist die werkseitig schon mit einem CarPlay ausgestattet sind, dann steht auch theoretisch nichts mehr im Wege es zu verwenden. Leichter knnte eine Installation nicht mehr sein, es wird einfach Plug and Play angesteckt und kann losgelegt werden. Ich besitze das iPhone 14 und habe absolut keine Probleme bei der Verbindung, reagiert wirklich schnell und zuverlssig, wenn man schon einmal verbunden war. Falls man eventuell mal Probleme haben sollte, soll man einfach ein Update rauf spielen, dann msste alles wieder behoben sein und sachgem funktionieren. Ich bin durch Zufall auf so einem Produkt gestoen und wusste gar nicht dass so etwas fr iPhone Nutzer gibt, wrde es mir auf jeden Fall fr andere Autos auch zulegen, wenn mal ein neues her muss.. die Siri Sprachsteuerung funktioniert genauso gut wie beim Handy selbst, reagiert schnell auf die Kontaktaufnahme des Benutzers, zum Beispiel Anrufe ttigen oder um Musik zu hren beziehungsweise eine Navigation ber die Karte zu starten geht einfach reibungslos von statten. Sowas sollte wirklich standardmig in jedem Auto schon im Vorhinein installiert sein, wenn man werkseitig CarPlay besitzt. Ich bin kein Spezialist mit Technik, aber es ist auch fr Laien so michgutbedienbar.
Endlich kein Kabelsala
Ich habe lange gezgert mir diesen Adapter zu kaufen, aber jetzt bin ich froh das ich diesen Schritt getan habe. Wir fahren ein Wohnmobil und haben uns ein Radio gekauft das CarPlay fhig ist. Ich habe mein Handy dann immer ber eine Kabel verbunden, der durch das Handschuhfach nach drauen gefhrt wurde. Ich bin stndig in diesem Kabel hngen geblieben.
Die Instalation ist sehr einfach. Einfach in den vorhandenen USB einstecken und schon knnen sie alle Vorteile von CarPlay genieen. Keine strenden Kabel. Sie brauchen ihr Handy nicht mehr aus der Tasche zu nehmen, sobald das Auto gestartet wird luft alles Automatisch. Sie knnen auf ihre Nachrichten reagieren oder auf ihre Musik oder Hrbcher zugreifen. Alles ohne den Straenverkehr aus dem Auge zu verlieren. Also ein echter Gewinn.

The interface is responsive but music controls do suffer from some input lag. It takes a second or two to play/pause/skip. But the convenience of not having to plug in your phone far outweighs the negatives. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone with an iPhone. Your car does need to be compatible with wired CarPlay for it to work, keep that in mind.

Der Adapter fr Wireless CarPlay funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach, einfach anstecken, einrichten und schon kann’s losgehen.
Der beiliegende Adapter von USB C auf USB A ist auch ntzlich, somit kann man das Gert in allen mglichen Fahrzeugen nutzen.
Das Gert an sich ist etwa so gro wie eine Induktive Ladestation und strt somit nicht im Auto.
Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden.

Endlich kann ich CarPlay wireless zu einem angenehmen Preis nutzen. Die einmalig erforderliche Installation war anhand der Beschreibung unkompliziert. Nun verbindet sich das Handy beim Starten des Wagens in der Regel sehr schnell und das CarPlay setzt z. B. die Musikwiedergabe da fort, wo sie zuletzt gestoppt hat – genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe.
Grnde fr 1 Stern Abzug:
1. Gelegentlich dauert die Verbindung allerdings mal etwas lnger
2. Ein wenig ungewohnt oder nervig finde ich, dass das vor- und zurckskippen eines Musiktitels nur mit einer leichten Verzgerung (ca. 2 Sekunden) funktioniert. Dies ist aber wohl – wenn ich das aus der Anleitung richtig in Erinnerung habe – kein Fehler, sondern bewusst gewollt. Naja, nicht dramatisch, aber ohne Verzgerung wre es halt angenehmer.
Trotzdem finde ich den Adapter insgesamt empfehlenswert.
Super für Seat Tarraco
Ich war genervt von dem stndigen anschlieen meines iPhones via Kabel a das Auto, nur damit ich CarPlay nutzen kann. Da Seat dem Tarraco in der Version von Ende 2019 kein Wireless CarPlay integriert hat, habe ich mich auf die Suche nach einer guten Lsung gemacht. Es gibt wirklich eine groe Auswahl an verschiedenen Adaptern. Ich habe mich schlussendlich fr diesen entschieden, da er angenehm klein ist und leicht zu installieren war. Zudem wurde in den Rezensionen nicht von einer strenden Verzgerung berichtet, wie bei manch anderem Adapter.
Die Verarbeitung ist solide, das Plastik wirkt etwas gummiert, wodurch es sich angenehm anfhlt und unauffllig ins Interieur des Fahrzeuges integrieren lsst.
Das Auto erkennt den Adapter auch sofort und die erste Verbindung via Bluetooth geht auch intuitiv und schnell. Einmal das iPhone mit dem Adapter verbunden und schon kann man sich ber kabelloses CarPlay freuen. Man muss tatschlich nichts weiter machen, sobald man nun ins Auto einsteigt, verbindet sich das iPhone sofort automatisch. Das klappt wirklich jedes Mal zuverlssig.
Der Adapter fhrt zudem sehr schnell hoch und ist meistens schon bereit, bevor mein Auto CarPlay hochgefahren hat.
Sehr gut finde ich zudem, dass man den Adapter etwas konfigurieren kann. Man kann den Boot Modus und die Verzgerung einstellen. So kann man nochmal etwas nachjustieren. Bei mir passte aber alles in den Standard Einstellungen.
Ich konnte bisher nur eine leichte Verzgerung zwischen Tastendruck am Lenkrad und Start / Stopp bzw. Weiter / zurck feststellen, dass liegt aber im Bereich unter einer Sekunde. Beim telefonieren habe ich keinerlei Probleme und keine Verzgerung.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann mein Telefon ab nun in der Hosentasche lassen und tragen AirPlay nutzen 😉
