What do I do if I can’t connect to carpaly or other functions ?
Our car player is a complex functional product, which may be used incorrectly, resulting in failure to connect. You can read the information on product page or refer to User manual, or tell us for help.
How to install this Carplay？
Because it is portable and comes with two adjustable brackets, so easy to install ,it only takes about 3-5 minutes, not like traditional carpaly which has many wires,and save a lot of installation costs.

Really easy to set up. Media hard drive has gone on my Peugeot (1500 to fix). Bought this and stuck over sat nav. Needs a speaker (sound insufficient and car speakers linked to broken media hard drive) so put a mini speaker in the cup holder linked via a short aux cable. Excellent as I’ve now a sat nav plus music, won’t act as a radio but can stream eg greatest hits. Google help works really well when asking for directions. Loses connection when idle so have to reconnect using Bluetooth… not big issue. Would really like to have a USB powerlead in addition to the very long lighter powerlead but could rewire if I wanted.
I’m really happy, although my so thinks the setup is hilarious. I refuse to pay 1.5K for another electrical fault – the 2 area autoelectrians can’t help, no idea what it’ll be like when EVs come along.

Brilliant way set up
Wow so easy to set up. Plug it in link it to your phone and that’s it it all works.
I have an iPhone and the Apple car play feature just works, all my apps are there and they all work perfectly.
The screen comes with 2 mount’s that are fully adjustable. It will like to your car stereo for sound.
Can’t fault the quality.
This is fantastic for cars without Carplay and Android Auto. Very easy to install using the suction mount or the other mounting tools that they provide in the box. There is instructions inside to help you get started. It’s totally wireless in operation which makes it a lot easier when getting into the car so you don’t have to keep plugging and unplugging the cable. You can of course use the wired option if you desire. It uses the 12V cigarette lighter for power and boots up very fast. The onboard sound is pretty poor but you will mainly use the FM transmitter to tune into you car head unit for you cars main speaker which is very good.
The only way to get firmware updates is contacting Carpuride via email or WhatsApp. For some reason they do not give a link through the website which I find bizarre.
It works well when connected, I would mention that if you have Apple phone and Android phone in the car the Carpuride unit will always priorities Apple to connect each time. I would prefer the last device connected to be default but apparently that is not possible.
With all that I would definitely recommend this product and it’s made my driving much better with the use of Google map, Waze and spotify. I love it.
Great unit and easy to fit and use
Great and easy solution to add Android auto to your car.. Setup is incredibly easy. You basically plug it in, turn it on and it’s ready to connect. The display is really nice and looks good. Playing music is easy and sounds good. This is really nice upgrade and everything works great. Definitely recommended.
Also, the customer service is great. I have connected them through email and they are fast to respond and very helpful.
Wanted to add a bit of modern tech to my 2012 swift motorhome (Fiat Ducato).
I was looking at a new facia panel at 90 and then a double DIN Carplay head unit at 350 to 400. So when I saw this unit at 156 I decided to give it a try. Was a bit sceptical as the reviews seemed to be by reviewers supplied with the unit by Carpuride (so you never really know). But very pleased to say it does all it needs to do and is very smooth operation with my iPhone 8 Plus and wireless Carplay too (my wifes 2022 Kia Sportage doesn’t do wireless Carplay and it’s just as smooth if a little bit smaller screen)
Also the customer support provided me with a boot screen customisation logo based on one I sent them for my Swift Motorhome, all sorted within a couple of days (Note the USB stick you use to update the logo does need to be FAT32 formatted)
