This tablet does support 10bit HDR in apps like Prime Video and Disney. However the official YouTube app does not. This down to Google and not the Tablet. It’s the exact same thing on the NVIDIA Shield TV box that I also own. There’s been threads on the NVIDIA forums discussing this issue, no one seems to know why Google won’t enable HDR, but Google aren’t known for making good choices recently. Hopefully this will clear up any confusion.
This is a high spec tablet offering value for money. I was a bit wary of buying Chuwi at first until I read on an independent site that they provide components for many main brands. Many features are exceptional eg: 8GB Ram. The screen is very responsive with an excellent display. The tablet is very quick in performing tasks. The only feature which I feel is below par is the battery, though I can get a full day’s use before the need to recharge. The other feature that I would have liked is a usb 3.0 connection capable of streaming video via a cable, but there are a lot of other tablets that also do not provide this facility. Paul
