Clearwater CH0009 Water Clarifier for Hot tub Spa
Clearwater CH0009 Water Clarifier for Hot tub Spa and Swimming Water Treatment for Pristine Crystal Clear Water, 1 Litre
1. Ensure all algae is pre-treated
Pre-treat any existing algae with algaecide 24 hours before using the clarifier. This releases any algae clinging to the walls of your pool/spa
2. Adjust the pH between 7.2 -7.6
Make sure the pH level of your water is between 7.2 and 7.6 before using the clarifier. You can use the Clearwater pH Plus and pH Minus to do this
3. Gradually apply the clarifier direct to the pool water
Measure out the recommended amount of clarifier (as stated on the bottle) and pour directly into the pool water whilst the pump is turned on, preferably near the water inlet to aid distribution
4. Keep the filter turned on until water is clear
Keep the filter turned on whilst the clarifier is working to ensure the broken down particles are filtered out

Didn’t seem to keep the water any better than not using this product. Maybe it was me and I don’t use it properly maybe it was the product. I can’t say for sure so I can’t really knock it all I know is using this didn’t make any difference.
Absolutely great for cleaning the water after being stood for a few weeks.
The pool only goes up for a couple of months, three at most. With good chlorine and pH control, regular filter running even when pool not used, we still get a tinge to the water. This stuff works a treat, crystal clear again in no time.
The product has easy to follow instructions and dosage is all depending on the size of the hot tub. It seems expensive for what it is but is a must to keep the water crystal clear.
I’ve used this a few times as instructions, my waters pretty clean maybe that’s where I’ve gone wrong I was hoping for that sparkle like the day I filled it, did it make a difference ? Not in my opinion.
After setting up the hot tub this summer after a couple of days we had all this white stuff floating around, I’ll be honest it literally looks like dead skin I didn’t have a clue what had happened or what it was & then it clicked! This was of course a build up of biofilm! It was simply where the main filter unit has been stored for months with dampness and when in action again all the gunk was dislodged. Anyway, don’t freakI bought this product and Algaecide Algae Remover, following instructions no joke within 24 hours the water was crystal clear! I now use both products every week where I also clean the filter. It’s 100% keeping the hot tub clean and fresh. We have just changed the water for the first time in 8 weeks – madness! Highly recommend.
This is amazing stuff, after reading the mixed reviews I thought I’d give it a go, as newbies to hot tubs you rely on the reviews to see what works, I have to say I was sceptical but wow!! I’ve gone from having green cloudy water to crystal clear water in a few days, as you can see from the photos you couldn’t even see the bottom of the hot hub before, I added one cupful to start (hot tub is 780l) and then added another cupful after 24 hours and changed the filter, you need to be patient as it won’t happen over night, but this stuff does work! I’m still amazed at how clear the water is, I’ll certainly buying agai
Really pleased with the effectiveness of this. We have an Intex 795L inflatable hot tub, which despite the chemicals being kept spot on, had developed a bit of dullness to the water – not cloudy, but not sparkling, and had a slight blue tint. I was pretty sure this could only be from sun tan cream which we couldn’t avoid using over the last few weeks. I added 20ml to the tub last night and kept the filters running overnight. This morning, I would say the water was about 60% improved, but not perfect. I added another 10ml, changed the filter, then ran the filters again till this afternoon, when I found the water to be sparkling clear, just like it was when the tub was first filled. Excellent product. I normally change the filter once a week, but will change it every few days for a while, as it was obvious after the first treatment, that the filter had collected more as a result of the treatment, which is obviously the point.
