I bought some stands for it to go under my desk as I work from home in a small cold room. It’s ideal for warming me and in turn the room. Since there is no thermostat on it, ive got it plugged into a smart plug should I want to easily turn it off and back on again.

I bought this for keeping items safely stored in an unused bedroom. Without this relatively cheap source of heating, I’d either spend a fortune or end up with fousty bed linen.

after using in a medium size bedroom and living room, it is warm in 10 minutes, the full room is heated in a short time. It gives a natural heat, unlike central heating. Yet to see what it is like on electricity. Recommended 100%.

Perfect if you are working from home and want to keep your legs warm while working at a desk. The wife loves it. Get the feet for it. They are not great but do tge job.

I use this to keep my feet and legs warm while working from home. I really wasn’t sure which size to get but this 180w version is enough. It takes a while to feel the heat come through but it doesn’t get too hot if you leave it running. It costs about 6p per hour. The only downside is it doesn’t have a switch but it does have a proper uk plug.

It gives a nice heat when its quite close by but its drawing over 400w for the 360w model. I’m going to be charitable and assume its still 99% efficient so the increased power in is just extra heat out and not a problem.

I’ve been using this for my garden office for the past 4 months and had no issues with it. Cheap to run, no noise, and takes very little space.
However, this is only suitable for a very very small space, as the ad states, so take this into consideration.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis heater is great if you don’t have space for a convection heater against the wall. I have mounted this above our sofa in the TV room and it produces a gentle but warm heat which radiates from the wall and warms the area really quickly and efficiently. It only uses 360 watts when on so is economical to use too. It does not so much heat the room as heat whatever is near it (people if sitting on the sofa).

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI have 2 of the small panels and one large. The small panels are ideal for one person, next to you in a home office or beside a sofa or armchair.

I’m very careful when it comes to energy use at home and bought these as we only really use the lounge for most of the day/evening. I used the 2 smaller panels and our bioethanol fire last winter but my youngest is mobile now so decided to upgrade the panels instead of having the fire going, kids manage to get into everything they shouldn’t!

The large panel works as I expected, heats up extremely quickly, doesn’t leave ‘cold spots’ around the room and as long as the door is shut, it doesn’t need to be on very long to keep a comfortable temperature.

Of course it is cheaper than having the boiler running and heating the whole house and uses little more than a third of all the fan heaters that companies claim are cost efficient and low energy (even though they run at 2kw!)

The only negative point about these heaters is the power lead, being 2m, they aren’t long enough to mount the panels on our ceiling without having to run extension cables up the wall. Other brands have optional 5m leads that you can purchase and it would be ideal if the manufacturer could make panels with the same.

Also for those that aren’t aware, you can buy a thermostat plug which will switch the panel on or off for around 25 on amazon and maintain the room at the temperature you desire without you having to plug and unplug the panel throughout the day

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersLike others mine came with an EU plug. Most EU-UK adapters don’t have an earth so using them with this could be lethal. To be safe I snipped the EU plug off and wired on a UK plug, but really it’s outrageous that in 2023 Amazon still sells stuff that could kill people without electrical knowledge.
On the upside this is my first IR panel and I have to say it’s brilliantly effective. When heating a single room it’s cheaper than central heating and it gets you warmed up quickly even when you’re not right next to it. Only downside is once it’s off it cools down fairly quickly too. If you’re using a resistive or electric oil radiator this feels a lot warmer than a 300w heater typically would so certainly worth looking at.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis is by far, the best investment I have made! I live in a very very cold property with no heating/single glazed(gaps in windows/crumbling frames and no insulated walls) so I am a fan of this product and would recommend for anyone with properly equipped homes, as I was using an electric oil heater before, and this product is certainly cheaper to run.

Note(Tip): You need to purchase the stand(feet) seperately for portable use.

Can be slightly frustrating adjusting these when heater is portrait way up, so be mindful it doesn’t full forward or cause yourself or someone else injury, so have someone assist you if possible.

Otherwise overall, really grateful and a happy customer!

Bought for Additional heat for office workspace but not quite as powerful as we thought infared would be, even in a small space, although it does have a nice gentle way of radiating.

Purchased this to place under my desk to economically keep my legs warm in a large cold room and it achieves this fine, but it is nowhere near powerful enough as a full room heater.

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersDic-300W panel — Reasonably pleased with this panel so far, although very plain it seems solidly built and nicely finished. I hope the front surface does not yellow/distort with use and it stays working.

My panel came with a 1.8m lead and standard UK plug, it was fused with a 13A fuse which is far too high when a 3A fuse would do (Easy to change). I confirmed the earth is connected through to the metalwork of the panel which is needed for safety.

In use with my room at the panel’s “maximum recommended ambient temperature of 20C” (According to the enclosed leaflet) the front plastic-like surface of the panel was measured at 70C, this was surprisingly high and would cause a burn very quickly if touched. The rear aluminium backing of the panel measured around 45C which is touchable but not for long. The frame and hanging rails stabilised at around 38C. There was some buckling of the front surface when hot which disappeared when cooled down. I would have preferred a larger panel which ran a little cooler to get the same heating effect. (Instead of having 1kW per square meter like this panel, say something like 750W per square meter would have been better for me.)

In my application (Not room heating) I need very little heat so I intend connecting this small 300W panel via a 400W lighting dimmer switch to provide me with “dimmable” heat. I’ll probably fit a “room style” thermostat as well for safety as it will be left unattended.

Final note – The heat radiation from the front of the panel is not directed in any way, it spreads out in all directions (Unlike a beam of sunlight). If you are more than 15″ or so away from the panel you do not feel much/if any direct heat at all – The panel will still be putting out all its heat into the room just not directly at you.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is a totally decent FIR panel, projecting a gentle radiant heat. Imagine being outside on a sunny winter’s day.

Unlike some panels, the rear is cool to the touch. It’s lightweight but seems well made. No unusual offgas smell, either. Happy with my purchase.

Seller is very responsive and helpful. They assure me that the latest batch of products in the warehouse have either the correct UK plugs or a safe adaptor.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersI bought 3 of these, and they’re all different. One has a cable coming out of the side, with a European plug and a UK adapter that doesn’t connect the earth wire. Another has a cable coming out of the back with a UK plug. A third has good mounting rails and a UK plug. I cut all the plugs off to wire into sonoff mini WiFi switches for better control – two of them have no switch on the unit, but the third, which I’m planning to fit on the ceiling, does. They’re cheap, and have a surprisingly high heat output (I bought three 720w panels).

They’re half, or even a quarter, the price of other brands, so I’m happy to deal with the issues, but they’re best suited for those capable of electrical DIY.

The pictures look great, the plain white panels are plain and white, and inoffensive.

Edit – I just spent two hours trying to fit this on the ceiling. Four screws, then slide the panel on to them. Simple, right? No. It was more difficult than any other job I’ve done, because I can’t see or feel, it’s pure guesswork. And when one corner goes on, the others don’t – OK, I’ll slide it back off again now I know where it needs to go… But it won’t let go. I think I may have caught three, or possibly four screws, after about 200 attempts. Even now I’m not certain it’s properly fixed – but I’m not wasting any more time on this. If I did, I wouldn’t need a heater – the frustration warmed me up!
