Nice lights.
My son loved these, they were simple to put together and work well with his ps5. They are fairly small as a set but you can add to them and they look cool. So far he has only used them on the stand and not wall mounted them. The product is very well packaged and the quality is good. I would recommend them.
OK, but be careful about the power supply
I would summarise this as “OK”, especially as I’ve now mostly resolved my initial problems. Although sold as a pack of 12, the recommendation (stated on the Amazon page if you can find it) is not to exceed 10 lights. Even with 10, you will struggle to power if from a standard 5V USB socket. I tried this and it was extremely unstable, occasionally “crashing” when trying to change the settings from the app (the entire thing would just flicker and no longer respond to the app unless it was powered off and back on). Eventually I purchased a 33W USB adapter (this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0C7GTTJW8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) that means I can supply it with around 3A. This does seem to work, but I think I would run into issues again if I tried to add more lights.
They should make the power limitations more clear on the purchase page, along with the need to buy a separate adapter for reliable operation.
On the plus side it’s very bright and you can make some very striking patterns in the app. It also feels well made and high quality.

Ive been thinking of getting hex lights for my games room for some time now and when I realised these had 15 off I couldn’t say no! and honestly for the price I got them at I couldn’t believe how good they were.
There very easy to both build and set up and not only that but the brightness on them is insanely good and they look gorgeous with or without being turned on so would definitely recommend to any gamer that is looking to add some light to there room and i’ll definitely be buying more to add to the build
Bought this for our working from home office.
It was very easy to set up and has lots of different settings for lights, colours and effects. Can go in time with music for example, and there is a setting to look like the sky with clouds moving which is very soothing.
It’s big and very bright and works great with our other cololights around the house.
I like the light, easy to put together and get going. four stars as despite lots of attempts I couldn’t get it to link to the app, still useable though so all good
I bought a couple of sets of these as there was a deal on and I wanted to extend my current triangles setup. As with the starter kit, adding these to the end of what I already had was very easy. Connecting it correctly allows for the existing setup to pick them up seamlessly. Very happy with them. I might get another in the near future.
Not quite as saturated as I would have liked for the background of my stream but lots of room for customisation and integration with WiFi. Really nice alternative to some other lights.
Great lighting effects
Cololights have amazing lighting and effects.
The customisation using the app is really something special.
However thats if you can get it connected to the app.
It was a real pain to get connected.
Absolutely love these lights, they’re really bright and have a nice set of default patterns. You can fully customise the lights and set them up however you like.
I would like if there were a couple if the stabilising connectors included as one you start adding more lights they can be a bit wobbly
I love this light and what you can do with it, but it is expensive. I wanted to add to it with some more hexagons, but the price puts me off. That said, you can shape it as you like, use the base, or attach it to the wall, change the lights to any colour, or pattern you can think off etc. I’ve got it tied into Alexa, as well as using it on a schedule. They really are brilliant, but again, the price is prohibitive!
Gr8 product says it can be used with google assistant and Alexa but no can do impossible to link so just get the cololight app iTunes Store and works gr8 if having issues with it pairing or linking up little top for u if u have split ur ssd Wi-Fi channels to 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz put ur device u r pairing to 2.4ghz otherwise it won’t pair with lights it’s only 2.4 comparable so if u have say a newer bt home hun which u can’t split ur channels then u r out of luck I’m sorry to say unless u got after market router or something if this helps u out plz say so plz many thanks and enjoy ur lights!
Yeah These are brilliant for people who want the Nano Leaf effect on a budget.
However, bare in mind that these are Miles smaller than a Nano Leaf !! They are better as an orniment on a stand to be honest.

Panels are quite small themselves.
Glad I got the 6 panel one with the granite looking base. Unfortunately the slot in the base was too small and I had to use a metal file to enlarge it. Some air bubbles pits on the granite effect surface. Surface protector dot missing on one foot but found lose in the box.
The rest was easy, to down load the phone app. Its easy to link to my Echo.
Its fun creating your own display however if you have not got the time there is an area at the back of the control panel which allows you to change effects. I used this before down loading the app to check it worked.
A great alternative from nanoleaf. So nice and easy to create your own pattern with colours you want. Default ones are cool too.
In the pack you also have suggestions on forms you can create with the quantity of pannels needed . Satisfied of the purchase.
What a great product. So many combinations and colour changes and then you can change the look of the cells. Really impressed as it can change the mood of a room. Use it music and it soon becomes a sound to light to really get the party going.
Set up was easy just read the manual and connect to the WiFi and let the App take your imagination away.
I have connected to Alexa which is great but it does and probably cannot give you all the complex controls over the lights. Use the App for that.
In short a great light and well worth the money
I bought this light after doing a fair bit of research. Theres a few on the market but on balance this looked like the best option. I am SO pleased with the light, it’s far exceeded my expectations. Responds really well to music, lights up the room and provides a real theater to nights in with music. The functionality on the app is excellent and pairs with my other smart apps. Would absolutely but again, and will be adding to it over time. Great product well worth the investment.

Not disappointed at all.
Would not connect initially but this was my fault as we selected basic but once we selected pro it connected and we had full access to everything it can do.
Was a present for my son as part of his gaming set up he has changed the design so many times and had it doing waves and beating to music… So good I want one.
Can’t wait to get more tiles and make bigger and better designs. Thanks for a excellent product.
This was a present for someone who loves lights. She has different lights throughout the house, solar lights in the garden, electric flicker candles, strings of LEDs. You get the idea. So this present had to be something special. The Cololight did not disappoint. It has incredible colour ranges and brightness as well as a good number of built in sequences. She found it fun to put together and reconfigures it to ring the changes. The Cololight works well with Alexa and Google Home. She’s called it “birthday” so she says “Alexa turn on birthday” and on it comes. The app on her iPhone is easy to use and everything installed really easily. If you have a good friend who likes beautiful coloured smart lights then I really recommend these as a present. My friend was thrilled to receive this.
Good lights at a great price!
I’ve been looking for some smart lights for a while and the ones I had seen were very expensive. I looked at this product as a cheaper alternative and I am so glad I did. The lights are very good and at a very decent price! My best friend liked them so much he also bought some the day afterwards! Easy to set up and connect to Alexa. Will buy more tiles each pay day!
