Core Balance Rubber Non Slip Exercise Mat.
This exercise mat is super quality and a pleasure to use. The extra wide design makes it more user friendly for all shapes and sizes. Unlike similar mats this is nice and thick, offering that extra level of comfort. The included carrying strap makes taking the mat out and about really easy too.
I find these sorts of products tricky to review in detail, because they just “do as expected”

This is a grand yoga mat – there are no smells whatsoever, it is quite bright but does not destruct you, it is soft and smooth and has plenty of elasticity to it so the surface won’t crack or split (or so I believe). It is very cheerful setting you in a positive mind before you even begin your workout and it folds quite small for its thickness.
I love everything about it, it has a small amount of bounciness to it, creating this comfortable cushioning effects, but whether you will feel the floor or not depends on your body mass, so I can’t warranty everyone will feel comfortable on it. There was a time several years ago when I was much lighter but preferred thicker mats and there was a time when I was much heavier and preferred those, too. So this is purely personal choice, but I have to admit that this mat is not too ‘porous’ so it feels slightly thicker than one I owned before, however it is not dense enough to eliminate the edge of feeling the floor through it completely.
I am happy to recommend it, especially that it claims to be natural and it looks to last a very long while.
I have mild arthritis in my knees and since I have been working from home about a year ago, it has made me move less as I spend a lot of time sitting in front of a PC most of the time.
It might be a psychological thing as I find this mat motivates me to get up and exercise and do yoga to strengthen my knees.
It’s really important that the mat has a good anti-slip feature so my knees don’t move involuntarily during the exercise, which this mat has.
It’s also comfortable to use, the thickness and the size are just right for me. I also love the vibrant purple colour with lovely pink lotus design imprinted on it.
In short, I would certainly recommend this yoga mat as it’s a good quality mat that does the job, is durable and good value for money.

It’s is made out of natural rubber and PU which makes it extra durable. The core grip on the mat is great for any surface and makes it safe and non slippery.
I do sweat a lot during exercise and yoga, so I needed something which would be easy to clean and this mat does that. Just one wipe and it’s clean.
The thing I love the most about this it comes with the Velcro once rolled up the Velcro keeps the mat intact and easy to store.
Great mat for large range of exercise .
This is a lovely mat made of rubber rather than foam so was attracted to it for the more natural material.
It is quite a bit heavier than a foam mat, but it settles beautifully on the floor, does not shift, and is nice and grippy for yoga and other exercise. Being thinner there is less cushioning than thicker foam types but I do find it comfortable to use. It is long so plenty of room to stretch. I like the nice plain design too. Feels quality and hopefully will be long lasting.

Sleek, smooth and well made matt. The mat is 4mm thick. This gives great comfort and area when working out. The mat has a great grip too so you dont slip while doing exercise.

This mat seems really high quality, it was not quite what I was expecting as I have previously only had lighter foam yoga mats that you can carry under your arm comfortably. This is much larger and heavier and I think I would feel a bit silly taking it to an outside class. I have been using it at home and it is good, very non-slip and a nice big surface. Would probably suit someone with their own exercise area best. It’s not quite as soft as the usual mats, you might find it too hard on a hard floor when lying down.
Very good grip made from PU and Rubber. It is easy clean and roll up. The product comes with a nice strap that slips on each end once rolled up so you can easily carry it or put over your shoulder. The mat is 4mm thick PU on Rubber, and is 183cm x 68cm. I had the Teal mat which looked good and i am very pleased to have this for my Yoga. I found even with a little sweat on the upper Teal PU this didnt vecome slippy or a risk of injury. Great product and glad i have it. Highly recommended, Andrew
I have started incorporating yoga into my fitness regime to improve my flexibility. This yoga mat is well designed and just the right size when following Apple fitness yoga classes in my lounge. The rubber mat grips well to the carpet ensuring that the mat remains in place at all times and does not move around as I perform my warrior pose, downward dog and various other moves. Although described as “lightweight” in the product description, I have used lighter mats in the past that have been a disappointment as they have not offered sufficient cushioning. This mat is substantial but is easy to carry around with the Velcro-based carrying handle.
This mat is a pleasure to use and easy to recommend.
Used it today for the first time and loved it. Moved about more than my other one but i was also half on carpet half on the wood floor but was comfortable for a half hour work out and could have done more. Easy to roll up and the wrap that comes with it is easy to put on and off with Velcro. Very thin but nice, feels nice, love the colour and great length too. Like it would recommend i
Fantastic quality matt, definitly get what you pay for with this.
Id been after a new one for a while as my previous matt didnt have very good grip. My hands would slip during downward dog, which gets really frustrating after a while. The grip on this one is fantastic , and even after just a couple of sessions it is quite apparent that its of a far better quality.
Even though the thickness doesnt feel that much more than other matts, it does feel to have a slightly better feel too, which definitly helps when balancing on a fist.
Using this daily now, the others have gone into the backup pile.
This yoga mat comes with handy straps so it’s super easy to put on your shoulder and take out with you if you want to take it to the gym.
The mat is a really thick lovely good quality material and is very comfortable for use doing floor exercises. It’s nice and wide, far wider then my old mat. So it’s true you get what you pay for, if your looking for a good quality mat built to last this is worth investing in.
It comes in a wide range of colours so there is a colour to suit everyone – I would happily recommend it!
Good length and width mat which I use for online exercise classes. The mat has a good thickness to it and provides enough comfort for floor exercises. It is non-slip but I found, to begin with that the end of the mat which was rolled most tight, wasn’t flat. This eased after a while but I did keep catching it with my foot.
It is a little on the pricey side and there are probably other mats as good but cheaper.
This fitness mat is heavy, strong and long lasting. Available in a variety of different colours, and I opted for the black one. What I also like is that its made from eco-friendly materials, and once rolled out on to the floor, it stays in place. The measurements are 183cmx68cmx4mm thickness. It also comes with a carry strap, which is easy to secure around the core balance mat. It might not be cheap, but in my honest opinion, its worth every penny. This mat is so much better than my old fitness mat by far.
This yoga mat is wider than the standard yoga mat. However I found it to be really rather thin with next to no cushioning provided. Which as a person with really bad knees it made it difficult for me to use this comfortably. I had it placed on my hard tiled floor and comfort wise it felt like I was exercising without a mat! So if you are looking for comfort/cushioning perhaps keep this in mind.
I was using the mat during my strength training and stretches. It provided really good and stable grip. Unlike my other mats it did not slip even though I have a smooth floor it grips well. Also once you are in a position it makes it really difficult to slip which I am glad about as I have hypermobility so I have a tendency to easily slip. I found it really great for keeping my yoga blocks in place without any slippages.
I was not a fan of the material. The mat itself it almost 3kg making it heavy. So if you are doing an exercise where you only sometimes need a mat there and you need to move it to the side while you do your other exercises you will struggle. It is also heavy to roll up and the strap it comes with it velcro which is rather frustrating because you have to make sure it is tightly rolled up otherwise the strap will not fit around it.
I can see this mat lasting a long time which is good, it is more durable than my other foam mats. The only downside is the lack of cushioning, the strong smell and awkward strap. Otherwise a fantastic mat.

This mat comes in black teal grey and purple and I have the back one. It is made of rubber and is quite nice to lie on but also non slip so good for many exercises I used it this morning for a cardio blast class and found it stood up to the test very well. It is quite light , rolls easily and comes with travel strap so easy to carry to and from gym
