WHAT THE READINGS MEAN
Blood pressure readings have two numbers, for example, 140/90mmHg. The top number is your systolic blood pressure (the highest pressure when your heart beats and pushes the blood around your body). The bottom one is your diastolic blood pressure (the lowest pressure when your heart relaxes between beats).
Only one of the numbers has to be higher or lower than it should be to count as either ‘high blood pressure’ or ‘low blood pressure’. The level of your blood pressure determines what kind of treatment or changes you may need to undertake. The Duronic BPM400 blood pressure monitor will measure blood pressure in the following way:
SEVERE: 180/110 > or over……………………..GRADE 3: severe hypertension
MODERATE: 160/100 to 179/109……………GRADE 2: moderate hypertension
MILD: 140/90 to 159/99………………………….GRADE 1: mild hypertension
NORMAL: 90/60 to 139/89……………………. HEALTHY RANGE
If the reading measures less than <90/60 it is advisable to get it checked again by your GP who can confirm/diagnose low blood pressure and offer advice to treat it. To find out more about blood pressure please refer to the NHS website where you will find further guidelines and advice.

Very easy to use
Great for keeping a record of your blood pressure because more often than not. When you go to the doctors you are stressed which gives an untrue reading. Very easy to use

Brilliant little machine comes with batteries but was expecting a USB wire to use in the mains but didn’t have one but I’m sure it said it came with one but doesn’t matter still did what I brought it for. Lovely little cloth string case to put it all into as well

Sat and took a BP reading from a newly calibrated BP machine then took reading using this one. Readings virtually the same so am really pleased with this. A great price too.

Did not get fifth star because it often displays error while in use. However when it works it is accurate as it complied with the readings taken from my doctors machine.

Excellent product, price and range of gadgets on it . Massive memory to record yours and a friend. Runs off batteries or USB Cable… not included. I use cable so no chance of leaking batteries if not used for a while. The fab thing is even with no power source at all sustaining it, it manages somehow to retain its memory . Small compact comes in own drawstring nylon bag. Cuff regular if not on the smaller side, so if your Mr muscles you’d have to supply your own larger one which can easily plug in side.. need cuff and tube in one… don’t waste money on expensive branded omeron makes etc…. compatible readings with GP… I would highly recommend.
