I bought your air fryer for my daughter in 2022 on the 2nd of Novembe
Up to now, it has been very good. It’s still under warranty and I need to replace the drawers in it as they have corroded and lost their nonstick coating the rest of it is absolutely fantastic it’s just the drawers I need replacing under warranty can you help me with this please I’ve tried ringing But can’t get through so I thought this was the only way to go down. Thank you Roy

1st time using air fryer . Still getting used to it especially like the dual drawers which is useful when cooking two items that need different cooking times and or temperatures
I ordered this mid December and Prime saw it arrive a couple of days later. After unpacking I discovered that the trays that fit in the bottom of the baskets were missing and there was no instruction book. i contacted the Amazon seller – Electric Mania – via the amazon complaints app on a Thursday evening and they responded the following day to say they would send the missing trays and booklet asap. These arrived the following Wednesday. Disappointing that they were missing in the first place but excellent customer service on the seller being notified of the problem.
As to the air fryer itself, I tried using it without the trays and using timings obtained from the internet re the similar Ninja dual basket. These efforts were a disaster with oven chips sticking together and cooking unevenly. “Real” chips from potatoes were just as bad. It was obvious that the trays are essential as they are perforated and allow hot air to circulate under the food.
Once the trays and instruction booklet were received I tried again. The booklet has a table of cooking times and these were, food for food, longer than the Ninja presumably because the latter is rated at 2.5kw whereas the Emtronics is 1.7kw although I have some difficulty with that as my logic says 20 mins @ 200C should be the same and the power simply would impact how long it takes to reach 200c from cold.
Anyway, since getting the trays and revised timings everything has gone well. I have not attempted a wide range so far but chips, breaded chicken, toasties and a few others have been perfect. The food seems crispier than conventional preparation but still soft inside. I am now well pleased with the unit and looking forward to using it more and trying different items/recipes in it.
I have bought a few accessories for it which I would recommend – a set of silicon tongs for removing items from hot and relatively deep baskets, an electronic temperature probe to check that food is cooked through and a pair of wire racks which are sold as fitting Ninja dual baskets but fit the Emtronics without issue. The temperature probe is needed where you are using a big of guesswork re time in the air fryer v conventional cooking.
I have not awarded five stars due to it being delivered with missing items (is it a previously returned unit?) but cannot fault customer service once there was a problem. That in itself is reassuring going forward.
