Fired up SF2 Turbo on fightcade immediately after installing this and my moves came out very well. This is a very tactile feeling. Think similarly to that of the PS Vita D-pad, just with more surface area. It feels more independent.
Install process was very easy. Just layer one PCB ribbon over the other + plug the buttons. There’s a video on Extremerate’s YouTube channel. I will say one thing: one of the button membranes included was torn, but they sent me two of every rubber part so it ended up not being an issue.
Yes, don’t hesitate. Controllers are much better with clicky buttons. The one I got was just for the eight face buttons, ideal for fighting games. If you never had clicky buttons, this is the next thing to try

Another great mod
Another great mod from eXtremeRate. I now have this with their back buttons, Clicky triggers/bumpers and interchangeable thumbsticks. This mod (as with all of the others) is simple to fit providing you take your time, follow the great tutorial vids on YouTube, and most importantly take care (if you don’t you can quite easily break a component inside the controller or pull out a cable off of one of the boards etc). Don’t let this put you off, if you take the time and have the patience these mods are definitely worth it.
This particular mod I had an issue where the right d-pad would barely click down and sometimes get stuck. This was rectified by cutting the silicone ‘nipples’ that align with the left and right controls of the d-pad, and cutting spare silicone (from spare parts that come with the kit) to fill the voids in the left and right d-pad buttons (until they’re flush). After doing this the mod works great. I’m not sure if this is an issue everyone would have, but no matter how much I tried to install the silicone that comes with the kit (that covers the back of the d-pad) I couldn’t get the right d-pad button the work; which made me resort to my own modification.
