    BRILLIANT VALUE
Both my desktop and my laptop failed on the same day, and I urgently needed a stopgap. I have bought Fusion’s tablets in the past and found them excellent, so I thought I would try their Windows mini-desktop. It arrived in under 48 hours, was easy to set up, and immediately demonstrated that it could outperform my failed Windows 10 desktop with exactly the same peripherals attached, so much so that it’s now my permanent replacement desktop. I’d recommend this product to any one looking for a capable computer at a budget price.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersFor simple web browsing and day to day word processor work, this is perfec
This machine was tasked with just a simple problem to solve: Replace my daughter’s ageing laptop with a cost-effective alternative.

Given we already have a spare monitor, this machine was easy to set up. It runs the spare 21.5″ screen at full HD via HDMI with no issues. Add a wireless mouse and keyboard, and this is a really neat and compact solution that takes up pretty much minimal desk space – all for well under 180 (the device itself was 150 at the time of writing)

The device is self contained, and about the size of half a housebrick… but much lighter!

Windows 11 pro is included and after a few hefty updates, was ready to go. The onboard wifi is 2.5/5 dual band, so this was a surprise too – speeds are excellent over our FTP broadband.

Memory and drive space are small – but as most things my daughter does are cloud based for schoolwork/ research, this isn’t an issue.

The only weird thing is the power supply… it looks like USB C, but is actually a 12v proprietary supply – so I’m not sure what would happen if it fails!

Overall, very pleased with this, it’s just been kicked into use during new term, and her old laptop is now a thing of the past.

    Thumbs-up!

    Processing time is impressive
This has been brilliantly useful if late as I gave been traveling more than I’d like for work. I’m in the process of getting a new laptop, do this has come in very handy to use when I’m in my travels and I can use this, with a few other devices I bring with me.

It’s so small and compact, but it does pack a fairly hefty punch. It’s got a good amount of power for what it is and for something so small, it has a great ability to not overheat.

The memory size is more than adequate for what I need and the processing time is quite impressive.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks ok
This small PC works well but is comes with no instructions. Having said that it is straight forward as you just need to plug in the accessories and you’re away. It is reasonably priced if you already have a monitor, keyboard etc otherwise you will need to purchase these too. It seems like a good idea to start with but I can’t really see any having this mini PC over a laptop or tablet which can be just as powerful and good value for money and comes with everything you need.

    One month use review
This is the smallest sized PC I have yet used and it works flawlessly. There were no problems in setting this up and installing all the numerous Windows 11 updates. I suppose it took about an hour in total to get the updates installed without a hitch, as well Office 365 and other bits of business software installed. I’m not using this PC for gaming, and despite the value price it works really well. Office runs smoothly and it has enough memory and SSD for everyday use. It flies.

I need to use large Excel spreadsheets and recalculation etc runs smoothly. The wireless-only connection to the router might be a problem for some users but there are simple work arounds available if an appropriate USB Hub (with network port) is used – and there is a plethora of budget choices for these.

There is only one HDMI port, again this isn’t actually an issue in reality if a hub is plugged in.

For everyday use this is a little gem. It is half the size of a ten pound note. It performs really smoothly and I haven’t experienced any problems whatsoever.

    Highly recommended.

A great little compact PC let down by a few minor flaws.
Mini PC’s like this one can actually be really useful. Their compact size makes them great for travelling or for acting as a media PC. This one from Fusion5 has a pretty decent spec for a very reasonable price.

In the box you get the PC, a power supply with a UK plug, and some documentation. The PC literally fits in the palm of your hand. I have an older Brix mini PC and it is less than a quarter of its size. On the front panel there are two USB3 ports, a TF/Micro SD card slot and a power button. On the reverse there is a HDMI out, two USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5mm audio out, and USB-C port for power. One thing I am not sure of is if this is a true USB-C port, as the PSU is a fixed 12v and I can’t find any information if another USB-C PSU will work with it, or if a USB-C hub can also be used.

In terms of specs it is very much a mid range Chromebook or an entry level Windows laptop. Intel N4120 Quad Core CPU, with Intel UHD 600 GPU, 8GB of DDR4 and 128gb of eMMC storage. All of this is used to run Windows 11 pro. Thanks to the 8GB of RAM, Windows 11 pro runs remarkably well. Yes all 4 cores are probably more occupied than they should be, but browsing and general tasks seem to work quite well. To add to it the Windows 11 install is free of bloatware so it is ready for your own apps. What does let it down is the eMMC storage. Running something like ChromeOS this is less of an issue but for windows it can really slow things down. What’s disappointing is there is no way to upgrade it. So you are limited to 128gb and the ponderous speed. It’s a shame they didn’t chose to incorporate an M.2 slot for future upgrades. I tried browsing, streaming app, some basic applications and some older games. It isn’t really a gaming rig but it would be good for running emulators, and word processing and simple photo editing worked well enough. The fan is always running and it is relatively loud for a small device. However if you tuck this behind a TV or at the back of a desk it really shouldn’t be an issue.

This is no desk top replacement but it is does have a lot of uses. I can be transported with ease and takes up very little space. In terms of performance it isn’t bad at all and the specs are pretty good for the price. The only things stopping it from getting a full 5 stars is the eMMC storage and the lack of clarity with the USB-C port and power supply.

the mini pc works great, its good for normal everyday use. storage isn’t anything special but cant see anyone who uses a mini pc need more than this. its very well made and works fine. runs windows 11 with no lag.
i think its good, not amazing but good. it isn’t really amazing in anyone aspect but also doesn’t fall behind in any.

    Good mini PC
It was super easy to set up and has the speed I was looking for. True to specifications, fit for price and purpose. Very good at multi-tasking and streaming music and TV. However, you may have to update it.
This PC is lightweight and compact. Nice appearance, It sits unobtrusively on my workstation where its small size hides its great performance. And it’s quiet, i cannot hear any fan noice at all.
Not much storage space though, beware.

Decent spec, easy to set up, reasonable price
Although I use a laptop for all of my PC work I do like to have a backup, which needs to be cheap, reliable and easy to use. I’ve been thinking of getting a mini-PC to replace my current system, an aging Raspberry Pi.

This was relatively quick to set up. Windows 11 is pre-installed and required just a few questions answering, along with a Microsoft username and password. It took about 30 minutes to complete the installation and download Windows 11 updates before it was up and running. I used a wireless keyboard and mouse to avoid running additional cables, meaning it had just the power lead and HDMI cable connected. It also has four USB ports, an audio socket and a memory card slot.

The power lead appears to be unique to this device, although it plugs into a USB-C port it requires an included transformer to work. In use there’s a little fan noise, but this is relatively quiet and certainly less noisy than the average desktop PC.

Although reasonably well specified, including 8Gb of memory, this isn’t particularly fast. It’s more than adequate for the typical uses I require, such as web browsing, spreadsheets and word processing. However on running a game with only moderate graphics requirements, it was noticeable slower than my Ryzen powered laptop. It includes dual band wi-fi (2.4Ghz and 5GHz), which was good to see as we have an interference issue with 2.4Ghz in our house, as well as Bluetooth.

Searching on Amazon I found similarly specified mini-PCs priced between 120 and 200, so the 150 price tag on this device seems reasonable.

Overall this is a neat little unit with a reasonable spec and well worth considering for anyone looking for a mini-PC.

    Wow,a Mini PC.
Wow if this is the way computers are going, just imagine what they will be like in a few years.
This is tiny and to be quite honest I wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.
You know for a fact you are not going to get an all singing all dancing power machine but for the build you certainly get enough.
It only ways a staggering 0.3lb’s, comes with 128gb storage and 8GB of ram. It also features an intel N4120 quad core cpu.
What I also appreciate about this is that the company offer a 12 month warranty guarantee.
The great thing about this is that it is portable, so can be used on the go, it comes with four USB ports, so is easily enough for your needed devices, it also has a micro USB slot for extra memory storage, which is great.
This is great for standard apps and nothing too intense, if you are needed this for work and just need windows, than this is good.
Overall it is great for basic apps and tasks and the quality is decent.

Fits in the palm of your hand ✋🏻
This Fusion5 FMP4 Mini PC has a Windows 11 operating system, an Intel Quad Core CPU, 128GB Storage and 8GB RAM.

It’s a novelty size fitting in the palm of your hand, I have photographed this for scale. No bigger than a box of Terrys Chocolate Orange it will easily fit into a bag/backpack and is perfect for travel. You do however still need to carry the power source and will need a hdmi to set up. I can’t imagine many wanting this as their main PC but I can certainly see a need when traveling for business.

If buying for a gift I found the box had signs of wear and tear and didn’t have that “new” look to it, so was disappointed with the presentation.

Overall a neat little PC that is perfect for travel or as a back up to your main PC.

So small it fits in the hand, Windows 11 Pro, power supply included
    Fusion5 FMP4 Mini PC Windows 11 Pro

The first thing that struck me about this mini PC was it’s compact size, it really is small, so small in fact that it will sit in the palm of my hand. It’s hard to imagine that this little box contains a complete windows 11 computer. The computer measures 1.85 x 2.55 x 2.59 inches so could easily be hidden on a shelf or cupboard especially if using a wireless keyboard or mouse. There is a supplied user guide but it does not provide much information, although setup is pretty straight forward.

The computer is made from hard black plastic with air vents top, bottom, and rear for cooling. The specifications of this PC are as follow: Intel N4120 Quad Core CPU with up to 2.6Ghz Burst Frequency, Intel UHD Graphics 600, 8gb DDR4 Ram, 128gb Solid State Hard drive, Windows 11 Pro OS, Dual Band WiFi, 4 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x Type-C power port (PSU supplied), 1 x Micro SD Slot, plus Headphone socket.

This is pretty much a basic computer that can be used for browsing the web, word processing, watching movies etc. I doubt that you would have much success running anything but the most basic of games on this, but gaming is not really what this is designed for. The computer can be connected to a monitor using a HDMI cable, or even a television if you wish. There are no cables included except for the power supply cable. I suspect that a wireless keyboard and mouse would work best with this, the computer supports bluetooth, or a USB receiver can be plugged into one of the USB ports.

Overall this is a cracking little computer for the money. Yes it is a little restrictive in what you can do with it, but it’s great for browsing the web and watching a few videos. On startup you have to run through the normal windows questions during setup, then a few system updates and you are ready to go. If you wish to upgrade the available memory then I’m sure you can add to this by inserting a high capacity Micro SD card in the side, so it may be possible to add anothe 1TB of storage to this.

Small, portable and great for everyday computing tasks
What I first noticed about the Fusion mini computer was it’s size, or lack of. Measuring in at 2.25 inches x 2.59 inches x 1.85 inches and weighing a mere 140g the Fusion 5 mini computer is tiny and small enough to be stored/carried in the tightest of places. If you’re after a computer to take away on your travels the Fusion is definitely something you should look at.

The Fusion 5 comes preloaded with Windows 11 and is super quick and easy to set up, and once all the preferences are dealt with and the operating system is up to date it is a plug n play solution. When I first set up the Fusion 5 I had to run through a couple of updates (and re-starts) which obviously took some time but now everything is up to date I can be up and running in no time at all.

The Fusion 5 has a 128GB memory capacity which is pretty impressive. I find the internal memory more than sufficient enough for my needs, but if I ever need more I can always use SD cards or external hard drives. There are four USB slots and a micro SD card slot to allow for this, and also other peripherals I want to plug in.

There is no ethernet port on the Fusion 5 and the only way to hook up is via WiFi. This is not normally a problem however there may be some times when this could create issues.

I use a wireless keyboard and mouse to keep the trailing wires to a minimum HDMI (to connect the external monitor) and power cable. One thing that is interesting about the power is that it only seems to work with the USB cable provided and nothing else.

For general PC tasks/work such a browsing, typing, creating spreadsheets, internet browsing, watching Netflix etc. this set up is more than capable of providing a good user experience. Once you move to more advanced and power hungry tasks/activities, such as video editing, live streaming, gaming etc. the Fusion mini computer struggles to cope.

Overheating seems to be potential problem with the Fusion 5 and in order to prevent this the fan is always on. This doesn’t bother as the fan isn’t that loud however I appreciate it could be an annoyance to some people.

Overall the Fusion 5 mini computer is an excellent bit of kit. For it’s size and weight the specs are impressive and it flies through general tasks/activities with ease. Whilst is may struggle with more power hungry and memory hungry tasks I can’t mark the Fusion 5 down for this. If you are in the market specifically for a mini computer the Fusion 5 comes highly recommended.

Disclaimer: I am privileged enough to be part of the Amazon Vine program and as such I have the opportunity request products that I would find useful/potentially buy to road test in exchange for an honest review. I am not paid for this and all of my reviews are unbiased and based on my own experience.

    Fusion5: FMP4 Mini PC (Windows 11 Pro)
    Pros:
This PC really is super compact and I can hold it on one hand; it’s about half the size of a brick, except much lighter.
Due to its size, it can be easily stored and carried in a backpack; combine it with a compact keyboard & mouse, you have yourself one portable PC, ready to connect to a monitor or TV with an HDMI input.
4x USB 3.0 ports available, enough for a keyboard & mouse plus 2 additional devices | MicroUSB Slot for additional storage (I would recommend doing this as 128GB won’t last long, especially with the OS taking up space).
It’s perfect for general use and activities that aren’t overly intensive for the specs.
The fan operates at a reasonable sound level.

    Neutral:
As mentioned above, this is good for more general use; so over-loading the computer with multiple tasks or having a many tabs open at once and this PC will struggle; but going by the specifications that is expected.

    Cons:
Doesn’t come with an HDMI cable, so make sure you have one at hand.

    Super compact, but compromised performance
I was excited by this, and indeed the form factor is inpressive, it’s lighter than my phone and smaller than my mouse. Yet it runs a full version of Windows 11 Professional.
Ports seem reasonable with 4x USB-A ports, a USB-C port for power input, headphone 3.5mm jack, HDMI port and a MicroSD card slot.
My first instinct was to plug into my 65W PD power supply, but that didn’t work, and instead I had to use the supplied 12v power adapter which has a USB-C plug. So that’s a slight disappointment.
Upon plugging into a 1080p monitor, keyboard and mouse. I ran through initial Win 11 Pro set up. This was pretty smooth, though you’re forced to log into a Microsoft account (but I think that’s a Win 11 requirement). It took about 15-20 mins to run through intial setup and auto updates to the OS.
The specs seem ok considering the size:-
    Intel N4120 with UHD600 graphics
    8GB RAM
    128GB SSD

Note network connectivity is via WIFI and this has no ethernet port, though for most people this won’t be an issue.

One gripe I had was the fan noise, I was hoping it would be fanless, but instead, there’s a fan which run continuously and you can hear it if it’s on the desk in front of you.

I thought this might be good as a media player in the lounge, however once I installed my Plex client, I realised the UHD600 was not powerful enough and it was unable to play 1080p video smoothly, let alone 4k UHD video decoded to the 1080p monitor… Games, forget it for anything even remotely intensive.
This leaves is more for remote desktop to control say a server PC, or perhaps some light web browsing and Word/Excel.
You could install Linux, but that seems a waste of an Win 11 Pro licence.

    Pros
    – Comes with full copy of Windows 11 Professional
    – Tiny form factor
    – Low energy consumption
    – Reasonable 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage
    – Micro SD card slot

    Cons
    – Has continuous fan noise which I found annoying if place on the desk in front of me
    – Has to use the supplied 12V USB-C power adapter.
    – Cannot handle decoding 4K video (on 1080p res), 1080p Video is also a struggle to play smoothly.

Overall, this PC is pretty amazing because of it’s size. However performance is severely compromised to the point I can’t recommend it for either gaming or media playback. The fan is a bit noisy when close up.
At 150, it’s a decent price considering it runs full blown Windows 11 Pro. However you need to have a good think about what you would use this for. If it’s for light web browsing with some word processing, or remote accessing another computer then you’ll be ok.

Very portable Windows 11 pro machine
I love the size of this PC. It can literally fit into your coat pocket. It comes with Windows 11 Pro preinstalled, that’s a bonus. However, it needed few rounds of Windows update. The setup is as expected of a Windows machine. I use wireless USB keyboard/ mouse which keeps the setup very clean. Just the power cable and HDMI cable connected to this machine. Talking of power cable, you can’t connect your regular USB C cable. I tried it and it didn’t turn on. You have to use the power plug supplied with this mini PC. I have slight problem with this power cable plug because the cable comes out (from the plug) from the top which does not sit well with my power extension board setup. But that it just me being too fussy about it.. lol.
I found this machine to be good for regular internet browsing, watching movies (Prime/Netflix) and a bit of loaded processing like short video editing. However, due to the size, its fan is always on and can be heard which, in my opinion, is not a big deal for this mini PC but to be aware of.

Incredibly Small & Light Intel Quad Core Mini PC
This has to be the smallest footprint I’ve seen in a pc and yet feels so light in the hand, that it felt like it was an empty plastic case. The entire package weighs in at just short of 5 ounces and would fit into a box less than 3 x 2 inches. The package contains the mini PC and the power plug which fits directly into the ‘C’ port although there are no cable accessories so you’ll have to bring your own to the party.

The mini PC from the Fusion5 store has one HDMI, 4 x USB_3.0 ports and a micro SD card slot. The device has an embedded multimedia card with 128 Gb on board, the maximum for this medium although you can add storage through the SD card. It has 8 Gb of DDR4 Ram and an integrated graphics card. Connectivity for the unit is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and I found linking the PC up to my Home broadband an easy task and my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard similarly effortless.

I’m real happy with the mini PC and up to this point can find no problems with it.

Fantastic little PC - works grea
This mini PC works wonderfully well on both our TV and mini projector. It’s easy to set up – we had no issues connecting it to the WIFI and it was up and running after just 5 mins.
*Please excuse the lines on our TV picture shown in the photo, as it’s not the PC – our TV is broken lol*

The PC comes boxed with a power adapter (no other cables) – this connects via the only USB C port. There are 4 standard USB ports, an HDMI port and headphone port – enough ports to happily connect a mouse, keyboard and extra storage devices. There’s also a slot for a memory card.

The internet works great and so do the various streaming services we use, plus we had no issues adding our existing VPN. My daughters were also thrilled that they were able to play Roblox on the PC via the TV! I initially had doubts that this would work, but there you go.

I tried running video files from our existing memory stick, which all played fine through the built-in media player, although I may download a different one as I’ve never been a fan of the standard Windows player.

The PC seems to keep reasonably cool whilst in use, even after prolonged periods, which is impressive. It’s nice and quiet too in comparison with our desktop.

It’s a great little PC – small and very portable. It does everything I’d expect it to do, plus a bit more too. Overall, I’m really happy.

    Compact and lightweight.
This mini desktop PC is so light it weighs just 140 grams or so. It is so portable that you can easily carry it. At the same time, its dimensions are so small and compact that it takes up minimal space.

The device comes with 128GB of storage. It provides relatively sufficient capacity to support your core tasks. As the processor, it is powered by Intel’s N4120 Quad Core CPU and reaches a maximum burst frequency of 2.6 Ghz. It features Intel’s UHD Graphics 600 with full compatibility with Windows 11.

While the machine may show slight performance issues, especially when streaming videos to YouTube, it remains well suited for basic tasks without any major hurdles.
    Thanks.
