This comes with a screwdriver and tool to help open the controller.
The battery is a nice unit with no quality issues. It it easy to replace the original battery and it fits perfectly and should only take a few minutes.
The capacity is well over twice that of the original battery and although I’ve not tested it as I tend to put it back on the dock after each use it should mean the controller has twice the battery life or more.
At the time of review this was about 18 with a voucher and discount which I think is fairly good.
One of my sons PS5 (original Sony, not a third party one) controllers needed a replacement battery so we decided to give this one a try.
He installed it the day it arrived and put in on charge right away. From a full charge it has run longer than the original battery did between charges.
The battery was a perfect fit, the plug is good and solid and the cover went back on without a problem.
The supplied prying tool wasn’t great and he ended up using a different tool to open the case but the screwdriver was excellent.
A working controller and a very happy son.
