Excellent video quality. Very reasonably priced.
The product is easy to install, easy to use, long battery life. However, the video loading could be a bit quicker. There is a bit of a delay. But overall very satisfied with the product capability. Good recording, sound is clear and can talk 2 way which is excellent. Night vision as well and recording can be saved via sd card. Also the light turn on feature is fab.
Works a trea
Just installed this in the alley way next to my house. It’s a great deterrent to anybody up to no good. It works better than id imagined and gives peace of mind. Imagine my delight when i was sent a free solar panel as a gesture of good will! Awesome!!! 5*
Works very well as a camera
This works very well as a camera,but the setting up and software can be a nightmare,very hit and miss some days, battery does last a long time,I would recommend this unit if you could get help with keeping it working…

Good value and works as described
I’ve had this camera for a couple weeks now and it’s already been useful in notifying me someone was at my house when I was away. sd card is not included and has to be formatted to fat32 if you want to use one so far the battery is lasting long
I-geek camara.
Camara is very good and picture quality is fantastic. Only disappointment is the claimed 180 days battery life.This is no way any where that. Had to recharge it after 2 weeks and is already down to 72% after a week from recharging it.
Good Camera
Brilliant camera. By following the instruction booklet and the app it was very easy to set up! Recommend fully charging battery before you start. Picture quality very good. Registered with level which increased the warranty to two years – and have found their after sales care excellent so far! Would recommend!
Good camera
So far so good. Great picture quality, night and day. Battery has so far lasted 20 days, but seems to be down to 30%. Not sure it will last the 180 days stated. But not a problem as easy to recharge. Would recommend as a cctv deterent.
Absolutely amazing camera very good quality
Camera is absolutely fantastic can’t fault it at all, highly recommend and the after sales is amazing to, my camera developed a fault after months of owning and the company helped to try and fix and unfortunately it wasn’t still working so they rush out a replacement for me within 2 days outstanding customer support and service. Great little camera
Camera set up looking on to my patio due to recent plant thefts and really impressed with the product, I purchased a wi fi extender to connect to as my hub is 5ghz so an easy solution to that problem, great features love the night light which has captured foxes in full colour picture quality is great and plenty of features such as siren and strobe light all easily controlled from the app. well done ieGeek
Does exactly what we need it to do! Records when camera detects motion, can up the sensitivity and set the area of detection in the app settings too. The alarm and light feature are great and my partner has lots of fun scaring me with the two way sound option lol!
Was very easy to install, 6 screws & an app download. Had it up and running in 10 minutes maybe less.
The cloud storage feature seems to be cheaper than others i’d looked at too if you’re looking at taking that route.
The solar power feature was my biggest worry, but it works a charm, battery has never fell below half full and usually is fully charged. Great feature imo.
All in all great little device, my only complaint is that the signal for connecting to wifi is very limited and had to keep the camera far closer to the house that i’d intended, but I suspect that’s due to our internet provider not the fault of the camera.
Good Customer Suppo
I initially wrote a review stating how disappointed I was with the performance of this camera. The camera was mounted just above our main door and would only detect movement away from our home, not detect people approaching our home. I found the range of the PIR was shorter than advertised, so the delay between sensor activation and camera activation was too long to show a person coming towards our door.
I contacted Customer Support through the app. Because of their encouraging response I agreed to try a different camera. I tried this camera in the original position and then in various positions around my property. I found that a position close to the gate into my property, which has movement across the camera and not towards it, gave much better recordings. It is not my preferred location, but it does a good job now. The Customer Support agent, Jayden, was very efficient and kept me fully informed during the whole process.
Very pleased
Very easy to set up and clear video. I was sceptical about receiving alerts when away from home but first morning out, mikes from home, it dutifully messaged me and I was able to view the video as someone had strolled into view.
It is fairly basic – I would have loved to have bought a tilt and pan camera but that meant connecting to a power source and I don’t fancy drilling through walls! It’ll be interesting to see how long the battery lasts but as I’ve mounted the camera in easy reach ( with a step ladder), it’ll be a doddle to recharge.
Some have complained of too many alerts. Just change the settings – takes a while to find a happy medium. I have knocked one star off as it does occasionally miss some movement at the furthest point of the camera range but hey, its a 40 camera!
Overall a great purchase. Just remember to mount it high enough so it’s out of reach so no one nicks it!
Great value for money
Great camera, works as it should. Can’t beat value for money. And no hidden compulsory subscription. You have the choice to pay for cloud storage if you wish. But the camera works perfectly fine with just an SD. Can’t fault at all
I think the battery life depends on how much it's activated
At the moment can’t fault it bought one for the outside and ordered another one for the inside clarity is brilliant ,,think it would be better if was possible to disable it when we get there instead of taking it off the mounting and doing it manually,,other than that I can’t fault it at all .

Honestly, i have spent a small fortune on cameras including my eury one and these are fantastic great quality at night and day! loud noise siren great if my mom cant hear or something happens. Best Camera I’ve bought and so cheap ( I would buy the cloud back up because you cant see history without it.Hope this helps.
Good camera for the price
Great quality cameras, the app is easy to use and easy to install. The only negative is that the battery doesn’t last anywhere near the 180 days it says it does. I’ve got 14 days maximum from mine. However purchased solar panel and this is great at keeping it fully charged. Overall really pleased
A Great outside camera
This is a brilliant little gem. It’s battery operated-which has a long life. It doesn’t have the nuisance of having to connect it to a mains socket which means it can be located anywhere in the garden. My garden is about 15meters long and it had no problems connecting to the WiFi. I tried it in the shed but the solid stone walls blocked the signal-my house has the same type of walls but no problem with connection despite this.
The picture quality is very clear and playback is in rotation, it also takes still shots. Nighttime is black and white but if someone appears the light comes on and you get a colour picture. Overall and excellent camera.
Good value for money
I needed an outdoor camera to monitor different places at different times with decent video quality. I bought this camera because the price is reasonable and it is also freestanding without mounting. It proved to be the right choice. I can easily put it at a different place when needed, one place I need to monitor is very far from the camera and the thing I need to monitor is an animal, the video is not crystal clear purely due to the long distance, but I can still see the animal when it arrives. The battery is also good, it has been running for more than 3 weeks now, I still have 20% battery left. I did encounter a small glitch, their customer service was very quick to respond and solved the problem for me. Overall, I would recommend this camera and the good customer service from the company.
Does the job its meant to!
This was a replacement for a wired camera that had a USB attachment. I wasn’t technical enough to be making great big holes in my external walls so this seemed ideal. This is a compact sized sturdy camera and unlike the one it replaced the WiFi signal strength on this is amazing. I have it outside the back so l can keep an eye on my dogs when they’re in and out of the house and it does the job perfectly.
Excellent Buy
We’ve talked about getting a security camera for a while and when the subject came up again began our search on Amazon. We liked the look of this camera and read the reviews. We were surprised how neat this little camera is compared to others we’ve seen locally. Set up was easy-peasy. We fully charged it before connecting it with the iegeek app and wifi. The fixings supplied did the job. The picture resolution is great and the pictures are whizzed to phone in no time. We have added my wifes phone to the app so that we can both get notifications etc., and intend to add other family members for when we’re away etc. To be honest I can’t believe how great the app is too. You can control so much and we’re still finding out what it can do but the camera and everything about this purchase has been excellent.
Literally wireless
I like these because they don’t require any wiring in, simply fix the bracket and install the camera, having charged the battery. The picture quality is OK but can be blurry, especially at night and the motion detection can be a little slow. I brilliantly placed the camera above the vent for the central heating and so have an enviable collection of pictures of smoke, d’oh. I had to place the cameras at a reasonable height because it would take very little effort to unscrew the camera and take it which kind of negates the security aspect. The battery life obviously depends on how often the camera is triggered but my experience would be 2~3 weeks between charges, which requires me to get out the step ladder, recover and recharge the cameras (which takes a fair while) before replacing them.
I bought this camera due to my doorbell camera increasing the subscription fee 2x since I installed it.
This camera has far exceeded my expectations for the price paid. So much so that I purchased a second one to look over the drive as well as one for the front door, see photos.
The quality of the video footage is superb, and night viewing which is better than our door bell camera ( rhymes with Wing) is enhanced with the built in light, which is very bright!
It was up and running within minutes after charging the built in battery. The app is easy to install and use, the battery life seems to be long lasting but I have worked out how to recharge the battery in situ using a power bank.
I will be reviewing the solar panel charger in due course.
I have installed one of these cameras at a friend’s house and my daughters houses as they are so good.
You need to purchase a micro SD card and install after charging the battery.
The instruction booklet is very good but the app prompts are straight forward and installation is easy.

Easy to install
I wanted a security camera to deter burglars. I’m a pensioner and not particularly tech savy I however found the installation from start to finish fairly simple about 20-30 mins. The product comes with small instruction book, bit small text but U can download manual and enlarge on screen.I fitted a high speed 128gb SD card into slot and downloaded app via QR. The app told me the SD card would not be recognized unless the card was formatted, which it then did in 2-3 mins. I read reviews re issues with connecting to router…but i experience no problems following the app instructions. I haven’t connected to cloud just download the SD. Reasonable quality video for price..To early to discuss longevity of battery. Would have be desirable to have a small sticker to advertise to potential burglars that i had installed security camera!
ieGeek 2K Wireless Security Camera a Quality Addition To My Home Security..
Needed a good security camera for a certain position on my property, which runs on batteries as no mains available. The build quality is very good, & assembly is easy. Placing the camera in position was a doodle, the three screw attachment plate is easy to fit & attaching the camera to the mount & positioning is easy. There is also the option to run on mains as the plug and cable are provided.
You will need to download IeGeek’s app & set up an account which is simply an email & password, this then allows you to gain access to all the various options & setting etc.
The picture quality is very good, The motion detector is very efficient & alerts let you know when something is moving within range, which you can set by the way. To record video I currently have a 128gb micro sd card inserted. The option for cloud use is also available.
Also included is screenshot, talk to, a light & siren. This is a very solid unit which has been up for about a week now & the battery power has still hardly moved. So far I’m very impressed with this camera & also the app used to control & run it. Would highly reccomend.
Having used ieGeek cameras for several years I had no hesitation buying my first battery powered camera.
The camera arrived next day and was very well packaged with everything included to mount the camera although I have not used the mounting system for my setup. Setting up the camera was very easy – just download the APP, follow the instructions and point the camera at the QR code presented by the APP.
You have the option to turn off the night nights which I have done and rely solely on the infrared, and this works remarkably well producing clear quality nighttime footage of what is moving around the garden at night. The daytime footage is crystal clear.
Triggered footage is uploaded to the cloud via Wi-Fi at 6 second intervals as default – for longer record times you will require a subscription. Footage is also recorded to SD card (also purchased through Amazon) which is handy if you are out of your Wi-Fi coverage area.
I use mine as a wildlife camera and have covered it in camouflage tape to break up the outline and placing it strategically around my garden. It is amazing to see and capture footage of the wildlife as they come and go.
The battery life is superb, but this will depend on how busy the target area is, but so far, I have used this for over a week in a fairly busy area and still have plenty of battery power left.
I would have no hesitation recommending this camera and I shall be purchasing more in the future.

Good Wireless Option for Security Cameras
Purchased the twin pack ieGeek 2K Wireless Security Camera and also the 2 Solar Panels to keep the camera battery charged.
Installed for a couple of weeks now and I am impressed with the clarity of the images and the function of the software and alert system. Even on a dull rainy day the images are clear and better than expected at night, where the infra red and auto floodlight provides clear images of people within range. The sensitivity range is good at the medium (default setting) as it stops excessive warning messages from passing pedestrians if extended to further away.
The solar panels have performed well but need to be in a full light position (made the mistake of initially placing under the porch roof – now corrected) or the charge will be insufficient. So far the cameras have been charged with no issue during a combination of sunny and dull days (it is February!) but it is a fairly quiet area – might be different battery consumption if a busier location and numerous messages.
Overall very pleased with cameras and solar panels so far and would recommend.
After using a Ring camera for two years I received an email to announce that the cloud storage option would be going up in price by an exorbitant amount, for the second year in a row. I decided it was time to seek a better alternative. I specifically wanted a cam that doesn’t oblige you to buy cloud storage at an extra cost, and which could support more up-to-date functions. The ieGeek cam has proved it’s superiority to the Ring camera within days. Set up was very easy with one minor hitch along the way when I forgot a wfi password, soon overcome. Micro SD storage is seamless and good quality, the motion detection is every bit as good, probably better than the other camera, and linking to smart home software and Alexa was also very easy. The app offers far more functionality e.g. the capacity to set a custom power-use plan, to calibrate motion detection, and to fine-tune other device capabilities. I’m moving house soon and the ieGeek doorball cam is already on my wishlist. Now, of course, there’s always room for improvement and I would like to be able to set up iPhone shortcuts to give a quicker way to control some functions, maybe this could be incorporated into a future firmware update. Great cam.
SUPERB QUALITY OUTSIDE SECURITY CAMERA.
The security camera was delivered neatly and well packed and my first impression was of its excellent quality. I was pleasantly suprised by the excellent quality of this security camera. Setting up through the procedure was very straight forward. The comprehensive hand book explains well the procedure to set up for use. However once the first step was made to set upto wifi there after each next step was explained on my mobile . From thereon the procedure was so easy and took less than 20 minutes. Initial charging was about two hours for the battery to be fully charged. The hand book instructions are very comprehensive and provide all the directions needed. in use it is amazing and i have been so pleased with the performance. Living on a busy road I reduced the sesitivity down to number 3 and this takes a vieo clip of motion activity around my front door area. The image quality and sound quality is 100% excellent/ To replay back on my mobile is promp and excennt quality. I am so pleased I chose this camera formy security.
Easy to set up and a long battery life
I saw the reviews and the price and decided to buy a couple of cameras to monitor the back and front of the house.
The cameras arrived promptly and were well packaged. They come with a manual(in English) and a USB-C charger/connector cable.
I am quite tech savvy and I found the cameras easy to set up and connect to my phone. The corresponding app has a high rating on the Google play store and I installed it without any issues. There are various settings within the app you can tweak to suit yourself. Battery like is very good, particularly on saver mode. Night vision is great, very clear. Movement detection is also good.

Excellent value security camera
As with the other reviews I found the camera easy to set up and install. So far the battery life seems excellent.
The main benefit of the camera for me is that it is wireless and works well with the SD card. The picture quality is very good both night and day.
I have had to install the camera quite low down (bungalow) and it could easily be pulled off the wall, but it will still be a major deterrent to any intruder as they wouldn’t know if they were being recorded on an SD card or to the cloud.
All in all this is an excellent product for the price, so much so I ordered another one a few days later.

The images are excellent quality within the coverage area.

Excellent Security Camera
I purchased this security camera almost a week ago. In my opinion, it is brilliant for the price, very easy to set up, the app is good with many features and works well. The picture quality is good during day and night. I bought a separate SD card. I have charged it once and so far, the battery indicator is at a reasonable level. I have had some concern about the battery life and therefore ordered a second camera with a solar panel directly from the ieGeek webstore. ieGeek customer services have offered to send me a solar panel for this Security camera -amazing after sales service.
This appears to be a great a security camera with good value for money and overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
Decent camera, great battery and pricepoi
The battery life seems great, the picture quality is also great. Night vision’s infrared illuminator could be a little stronger but it’s enough for my needs, and it could record for more than 5 seconds at a time when it detects motion but it captures everything i need it to and has a useful app that tells you when it detects movement. The mic talk through is quiet, but it’s an option I never needed to use anyway, the audio clarity when in Live or History view is really good though.
So easy to install. Don't hesitate, just buy it, Its a terrific camera!
I purchased my ieGeek battery camera last week, it’s great and no wiring required!
The setup could not have been easier. I had it installed and running within 20 minutes of charging it and I’m a 75 year old!
The picture quality is excellent, even in total darkness! It covers my back garden completely and there are no annoying “false alarms”.
I charged the camera with the included USB cable using my phone charger, put in an sd card and fitted the camera with the included multi angled fixing bracket to the soffit above my patio door.
The software is great too, so easy to setup and understand.
I installed a micro sd card in the camera slot before charging. The card captures the video images so there’s no need to pay for cloud storage…unless you absolutely need it, I don’t.
I have tested the security of the area the camera covers several times over this week, and its worked perfectly every time. It has a light and a warning alarm you can set these up in the software, if required.
If you’re looking to purchase a security camera! I cannot recommend the ieGeek battery camera highly enough. Its perfect!!!
Excellent value for money. I didn’t want to spend a bunch, so I went with what I believed was a low-cost camera. These are excellent small cameras that are not visible from the outside of the building. The video quality in 2k was pleasantly surprising. The motion detection is accurate, but I’d like to turn off the light because I already have security lighting. There does not appear to be a way to disable this. Having said that, it is an excellent security feature.
I have not yet installed the solar panels, but I will. So far, battery life has been amazing; my camera has been running for 7 days. The camera has been used extensively for recording and testing, and it is now at 26% battery power.
To keep a record, video recording is simple and easy to send to yourself. The microphone is not the best piece of distribution, but it suffices for our purposes. The conversation facility is quiet. The alarm is not loud, but it does the job.
All in all, this is a terrific addition to our security, and we are very pleased with the pricing and quality. The app is simple to install. You do receive some free storage, which I believe is plenty, but I use a Micro SD card with 128 GB of capacity fitted to my camera.
Great little camera
I really like this camera, it’s so easy to set up, it connected to my WiFi immediately.
The instructions are easy to follow, I had fun trying all the different functions.
I bought two, one for the front and back of my house but gave the 2nd one to my daughter and she’s also impressed with the quality of it.
I was lucky enough to get them on sale, 50% off so if they weren’t the “greatest” it wouldn’t have been too bad but they really are good and I’d happily have paid full price, even then they aren’t as expensive as some other brands.
I don’t get much foot traffic outside my home so the battery lasts a long time, I’ve also set the perimeter to a small area so even if many people pass my home it’ll only pick up those who actually enter my driveway.
I’d definitely recommend this camera.
Good little camera
Camera is nice and small and from what I can see is very good at it job.
I have not properly used it yet as I got it for when I am away from the house but on set up (easy to do, even for someone who has no idea what they are doing) everything went smoothly.
My one small gripe is when switched on, it starts to record straight away so even if you switch it on when you are ready to leave the room you are in, the camera catches you and your phone starts to beep every second or so until you are out of its line of sight. The switch on sequence could do with a delay button but maybe it has one and I have not realised it !
After a number of unsolicited daytime visits to our home we decided to install a camera system so my partner and I could be notified on our phone of anyone approaching our property either front or back doors. We ordered a twin pack of the battery version of this camera from ieGeek (after doing a little research) where this model came out well at this price point. The parcel arrived next day, and I was delighted to see the quality of the compact design. After charging them both with the supplied leads we began the ‘set up’ routine. This is on par with any other modern electronic device and wasn’t too difficult but required the downloading of the ieGeek app. We set it up for both cameras to link with two mobile phones. Unfortunately we live in a sprawling brick built converted barn so the distance to the WiFi Hub had to be considered carefully to get a strong signal from the cameras. In a home with a ‘regular’ layout, I suggest there would be no issue. The cameras also require a mini SD card each to carry recordings which adds to the cost overall. After a using for a week we found the cameras work well but reporting rechargeable battery life will require a longer test. If someone walks near the camera to activate it (range and field of activation is adjustable), a message is sent immediately to the connected phones. Clicking the message opens the app and shows the camera view and a set of touch screen buttons. These allow you to talk to the person through the camera like an intercom, turn on ‘record’ for sound and vision, turn on an integrated LED light, or set off a siren. Note the camera will automatically record 6 seconds of video to the cloud every activation, but if you want it to record in the cloud for longer say 20 sec bursts it requires a 25 annual subscription which seems reasonable. Each user will set these up depending on need, and it has many variable settings. For example having the lights come on automatically at night, but maybe not the siren if you wish to not annoy your neighbours. I also suggest its worth turning them off via your phone when out gardening, washing the car, or moving around near the cameras etc. If you don’t, the camera will keep tripping resulting in many messages being sent to your phones. The camera also has the ability to learn via AI to only be activated by humans and not by animals or cars for example. Overall for the price this is a terrific device and I am very happy with it’s performance to date. Well done ieGeek!
