Watchable but getting old Unfortunately like all of the remakes, they are steadily dropping in quality as they are more predictable. At least this is not as bad as the politically correct Marvel movies which are now unwatchable.
Lovely movies bringing a series to a smashing end Bought for my sister for Christmas and she loved it. Seeing Indie’s career coming to a close and good to see some old pals too. I don’t want to give too much away. Good bit of schmaltz. 🙂
Not as good as all the others but Harrison Ford is no spring chicken any more. Not as good as all the others in my opinion, in story line & the new younger actors/characters but Harrison, for his age now, pretty good I must say but obviously not his usual standard of acting but old age, I can relate to. Respect for Mr Harrison Ford!
In my opinion, they should of called it a day after the last film but glad ive seen it.
Indy Hangs Up His Ha This is the very last Indiana Jones movie. Harrison Ford reprises his role of Indy in a movie that is worthy of the ones gone before it. It goes out on a high. Indy now very much older is thrown back into action when an artefact is sought after by an old enemy who worked for the Nazis. This artefact can move you through time to whichever period you want to go. There is plenty of action as you would expect with old and new friends showing up including John Rhys-Davies and Karen Allen in cameo appearances.
There was a lot of CGI work done on Ford’s face to make him look younger in the flashback sequences. He did say when asked would he be able to reprise his role he said “it’s all done with smoke and mirrors”.
This is a fitting end to a very profitable franchise.Fans will not be disappointed.
A TRULY ENTERTAING WATCH Must admit that i felt that Harrison Ford was too old for the role as a action-hero
when the previous Indiana movie was released in 2008, so was pretty sceptical
when hearing of the latest Indiana Jones effort some 15 years later…..Harrison
was 80 when filming it, I initially intended giving it a miss,. However, a relative
saw the film at the cinema earlier this year and enjoyed it, so
had to give it a go……so glad I did….the film was an action and fun-packed ride which
more than held my attention throughout…..absolutely enjoyed it.
Starring Harrison Ford in the title role backed-up by Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Helena Shaw,
Indy’s goddaughter who initially only seemed interested in cashing-in on the ancient treasure,
but became as obsessed with solving the mystery as her godfather.
Also starring Mads Mikkelsen as Jrgen Voller, a German scientist and astrophysicist[1 and former Nazi during World War II , an adversary of Indie’s back in 1944.
ttwenty Five years on academes Dial Of Destiny bring the two back together, in the race to
find the missing half of the Dial
Great 4k watch…………..superbly entertaining movie
Fantastic addition to the collectio Indy’s final cinematic adventure, I love it, it has a couple of small issues, but doesn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of seeing Harrison Ford, donning the fedora one last time.
