You want something that works you can get these in 2.0 USB or 1.1 compatible or you can get these and 3.2 USB only 3.0 compatible make sure you know what your computer is and what you can handle I will buy more of these in the future for Christmas gifts can't beat the price either I think I bought five of these I don't remembe

For the price the piece works amazing. It’s great for laptops that only have one usb or a broken one. My laptop has only one working usb and I wanted to connect a keyboard and mouse to it. Sometimes it does disconnect but after 2 seconds it goes back on.

Yeah, it's a good little multiplier, but the competition in this department is tough, so I returned it and bought a different one with more options and a better design for just a penny more. It's totally up to you and your needs, but I cannot recommend it.

I needed a splitter for a laptop with only 1 USB port- I wanted to be able to use a mouse and still plug-in headphones. This piece is small and inexpensive, and does the trick. I haven't plugged in more than a couple of things at a time, so I can't speak to its capacity, but it super handy, easy to throw in a case, and makes using my laptop much more convenient.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a $6 USB hub (the cheapest one I could find on Amazon), but I figured USB hubs are probably pretty hard to mess up in 2024. It seems to work fine, and it came nicely packaged. Apparently iSOUL has a lifetime warranty, which I guess is cool, but considering the prestige and longevity of the iSOUL brand (I still have my great grandfather’s old iSOUL USB hub from the Great War), and the $6 replacement cost, I think I’ll pass on registering it. Nice of them to offer it, though.
It says in the manual that there is no external power port. There is an external power port, but no included cable. So I guess they get a pass on that. You’re not going to be simultaneously fast-charging all of your devices from one USB port, and if that was your expectation, well that’s on you, not iSOUL. If you’re trying to get your mouse, keyboard, and flash drive all on one port, then this is a great choice. Very similar to my USB hub I got from Walmart for $10, but actually a little sleeker of a design.
There we go. Way more words than a $6 USB hub really deserves, but I thought it was a pretty good value for the money and it seems to work just fine. Would purchase again.
Good quality and affordable
Excellent little hub, fits my purpose nicely. Great for extended your PC connectivity. I have it mounted under my standing desk. This makes it easier to power devices just under my desk rather than having long cables down to my PC. Highly recommend. Decent quality and decent price.
Works as a power splitter for 4 different connectors
The usb hub is just used by me to attach 4 different power cables. Besides the usb connector there is also a 5v jackplug socket in the rear which is not mentioned anywhere so able to power a few devices if it doesn’t overheat (don’t leave on unattended).
It is very light and needs to be stuck down. The usb lead is a little short. The blue power light is very strong and distracting.
I’ll use it but be cautious about overheating.
Does the job
What can you say about a USB hub? It sits there, and you plug into it. It has 3 x USB2 slots, a card-reader micro-card reader slots. All work fine.
That said, it has a couple of quirks. Maybe it’s me, or my computer? Not sure. If I hot-plug this hub into my computer while it’s running, the computer locks up, which is annoying but not disastrous – just re-boot. Why it does this, I don’t honestly know.
Best to connect it before switching on, when it works fine.
It does not affect my laptop in this way, I’m happy to say, so as far as portability is concerned, yes, it’s good.
Sleep mode? Can’t help with that at all, sorry.
But I recommend this hub, selected with care after comparing specs and prices of several models. It’s by no means expensive, and worth the price I paid.
