Gutes NC, toller Transparenz – modus.
Akkulaufzeit mega
After trying a couple of cheaper models I am glad I paid the extra for there. The sound and the way they work is fantastic. Only negative is the fall out of my ears, so have ordered the memory foam tips. Possibly these should come with them as well as the silicone tips
*UPDATE* I just bought the following tips: Comply TrueGrip Pro TW0-210 and they improve on every level- ANC, sound, comfort are all much better. (They are listed here for Samsung, but the Comply website confirms they will fit the JBLs too).
I bought these to replace a pair of JBL Tune 230’s which had started to cut out and lose connection. Mine came from Warehouse and apart from a rip to the box were brand new. The JBL App connected them instantly to my phone and they were charged enough for use.
I have ASD, and use earbuds on public transport primarily to block out voices and traffic noise, so ANC has priority over sound quality. After several attempts, I set up the adaptive ANC and ear canal tests and selected the Jazz EQ. At home they sound very good, but on the bus they were useless and I had to manually adjust the ANC to maximum to have any effect. It appears this just increases the bass so if you use the adaptive mode tracks will suddenly become booming or suddenly lose it completely depending on surroundings. Another isssue is that the app constantly freezes and I’ve had to remove the 230s from it to rectify it. I don’t use the buds for calls so can’t comment on the quality of that. For the price I’m reasonaby happy but I’ll continue searching for something with better ANC that doesn’t cost over 200.
I can’t think of one negative thing to say about these earbuds. A great sound and a really good base when using the equaliser option. Excellent value for this mid range set.
The JLBs are easy to set up (aided by a very good app) and to operate. The only criticism I have is that Noise Cancellation (not a key feature for me) is not fully effective. It reduces but does not eliminate outside noise. This is my introduction to earbuds and that problem may be prevalent so far as other makes/models are concerned.
Bought these for my daughter after her Airpods ended up in the washing machine (oops)! She is quite particular about headphones, sound quality, having had Airpods previously, as well as on-ear Skull Candy and Beats headphones.
She is very happy with these, and so far they seem to be an excellent purchase, quality item.
