This is a quality item which looks good on your dresser. it is quiet and has two types of settings, which I don’t fully understand, but it keeps my automatic watches going on the one I chose. I particularly like the fact that you can make the watch cushions smaller, for those with small wrists. You can then clip the watch straight onto it without having to adjust your strap.
I think most purchasers would rate this product as five stars and I’ve only taken one star off because the only free space I have to connect and display it aesthetically is on my beside table. In any other situation I don’t think I would notice the (very) low whirring sound when it’s running, which is 2 minutes on with a 6 minute pause in short term use mode or 2 minutes running with an 18 minute pause in long term use mode.
Otherwise it does what it’s designed to do and will keep automatic, analogue watches wound and ready for use without the need to reset if they are not worn for longer than their power reserves (typically between 40 to 80 hours) Updated 10/09 I signed up to vine voice a couple of days ago and noticed this now appears next to my name on all my past and present reviews. However, I purchased this item (and all other products I’ve reviewed previously) with my own money.
