Really good.....bu
It works as intended but I didn’t get the allen key in the box to remove the tripod mount and despite contacting K&F about this I’ve had no reply otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
Update…K&F did finally contact me and are sending out the tool to remove the tripod mount so have increased the star rating accordingly
Broaden the range of lenses you can use with your Canon M series mirrorless
Canon’s M series of mirrorless cameras are a great set of small-ish cameras for podcasters and vloggers as well as for everyday photography, but they have a fairly restricted range of lenses. This adaptor allows you to use EF lenses, which are rather more commonplace and more varied. It works very simply but extremely well – for the first time I’ve now got some real telephoto length available to me, still with autofocus and image stabilisation available and no los of picture quality (at least as far as I can tell in everyday use). I wish I’d bought this a long time before, it’s been an incredibly handy device.
nice quality
This adapter enables me to mount a variety of Canon EF and EF-S lenses onto my EOS M camera, significantly expanding my creative possibilities. With access to a broader range of focal lengths, apertures, and image stabilization capabilities, I can explore new photographic avenues and capture diverse subjects with greater precision. The adapter supports full compatibility with all lens functions, including autofocus and image stabilization. This ensures that I can continue to enjoy the advanced features of my EF and EF-S lenses while using them on my EOS M camera. The adapter’s compact and lightweight design ensures that it doesn’t add unnecessary bulk to your camera setup. This portability makes it easy to carry along and quickly attach when needed, without compromising on convenience.
Excellent produc
This adaptor does exactly what it’s designed to do: Allow the use of EF lenses on an RF mount with full AF functionality & reliability. Less than half the price of the genuine Canon equivalent, but does the job just as well. 100% recommended.
Bridging the Lens Gap with Precision and Ease
One of the notable benefits of the K&F Concept adapter is its ability to maintain electronic communication between the lens and the camera. This means that not only does autofocus work seamlessly, but also other electronic features such as image stabilization and aperture control are retained, allowing for a truly integrated shooting experience.
In conclusion, the K&F Concept EF to EOS M Adapter is a must-have accessory for photographers seeking to leverage their existing EF and EF-S lens collection with Canon EOS M mirrorless cameras. The combination of automatic focus, removable tripod mount, and robust construction makes it a reliable and versatile tool for capturing stunning images. If you’re looking to bridge the lens gap with precision and ease, the K&F Concept adapter is an investment in seamless compatibility and enhanced photographic possibilities. Highly recommended.
So far this is a little gem
I have 4 EF lenses and only 1 original Canon EF/RF adapter and two bodies so wanted another option.
Given the 50% price increase Canon did i looked elsewhere. This unit gets good reviews and so far after testing on an apsc and full frame body it works pretty much as well as the Canon.
No AF issues or exposure and tried it with a f1.4 and f2.0 L lenses as well as a cheap kit lens.
Yes, it is a little tight getting the lenses on and off the adapter but not a big deal.
Tried it on soccer and worked the same as the Canon so if it can shoot sports it is a great adapter.
works well, af works quickly and exif data still intac
This works fine, no lens issues af seems snappy still, all exif data is still there and stabilisation still works, what more do you need at this price point, almost certainly a bargain and the best out there at this price point, buy with confidence.
Utilise Your Camera With Other Lenses.
My experience with this EF to EF/EOS M Adapter has been nothing short of great. Despite its reasonable price, it performs exceptionally well, especially when compared to other off-brand adapters. Interestingly, I have noticed that this adapter has made my autofocus function faster than before. I had not expected this, but it has been a pleasant surprise. Additionally, although I initially did not take the Image Stabilization feature seriously, I have been impressed with how well it performs.
It provides a high level of stability, which has helped me take clear and sharp photos in various settings. I have used this adapter in multiple settings, including weddings, headshots, and family portraits, and the results have been nothing short of great. With its exceptional ease of use, I have been able to capture quick moments with stunning clarity and detail. Even in a super low-light indoor setting, I managed to take great photos without using any flash.
The adapter is of good build quality and feels sturdy when I hold it. I have been using it to mount my EF lenses to my Canon EOS M camera, and it has been a game-changer for me. The adapter’s compatibility has allowed me to use my existing lenses with my new camera. The adapter fits both the camera and lens securely, and I never have to worry about any looseness or instability while using it. I can confidently say that this adapter has added a new dimension to my photography experience.
I have not noticed any loss in the quality of my photos while using both macro and telephoto ranges. The image stabilizer and autofocus features worked flawlessly. The adapter is equipped with metal fasteners for both the camera and lens sides and has gold-plated contacts. Additionally, the adapter allows me to attach my tripod to it, which helps to balance the weight of my super-telephoto lens if I wish to use that.
In summary, this is an excellent method to make the most of a range of EF lenses without breaking the bank. Since I started using this approach, I have been able to use my preferred lenses with my EOS M camera, which has significantly broadened the use of my DSLR. I highly recommend it.
Hope this review helps someone out.
High quality EF-EOS adapter!
For photographers who already have a collection of “EF” lenses this adapter is a must have for EOS owners.
Unlike simple adapters the K&F Concept adapter comes with a range of features to make connecting your older EF lenses hassle-free, including full auto focus (with most EF lenses) and also a welcome built in image stabilising function.
The auto focus function works as expected without the lag that’s sometimes present in cheaper adapters and no speed is lost.
When using the EOS onboard image tracking and subject detection the adapter performs flawlessly and as another plus point, all the EF lens EXIF information is also transferred to your image files without problem.
The adapter is thoughtfully designed with a 1/4 20 female thread on the bottom, enabling you to quickly mount it with a compatible quick release plate or attach it to a tripod.
The K&F Concept adapter has an inner matting treatment technology to reduce reflected light and minimise issues such as flare in your images and also comes complete with front and rea protective caps.
A full list of compatible cameras and lenses is available on the K&F website.
Autofocus works on some lens
his unit does not provide AF for the EF 85mm 1.2 lens and has to operate in manual focus. However, when switched to the EF 35mm f1.4 the AF is working.
I’m not sure why and decided to return this unit and get another brand.
K&F Concept Tamron to EOS Lens Mount Adapter, Compatible with Tamron Adaptall2 Adaptall-
This is the Lens adapter to get if going from Tamron Adaptall – 11 to Canon EF / S body, it’s very well made, a very good fit your lens wont fall off the camera, far better than the slim cheaper versions.
Sturdy adapte
Was recommended this by a photographer friend and can agree, it’s the best adapter ! Not at all wobbley. Great way to get more use out of some of the excellent OM lenses, that can be found quite inexpensively these days, on a modern camera.
Great.
I have an old Tamron 500mm mirror lens that I bought in 1985. I had long thought it was now useless. But no! This adapter actually works so I can use it on my Canon EOS 400D camera. I just set the mode to aperture priority and reduce the exposure by one stop and then use as before. (I set the exposure to one stop under because the lens always seemed to work at a 5.6 aperture setting instead of the 8.0 it was meant to be).
So now I have my old lens.
... fd lenses and a new 80d camera I would like to say at this time it feels a quality ...
Bought this cos I have some old fd lenses and a new 80d camera I would like to say at this time it feels a quality bit of kit. Now I have had some issues with it regarding a flare in the centre of the image, it looks the same as the dampness you get on the inner elements with big temp changes That circular mist. But it is a flare and I can work with it, the old lenses have full focal function to infinity and the manual side is great to play with 🙂 how many pics can you fit on 32 gigs. I was on the verge of sending it back so glad I gave it a second chance. Hope my comments are useful.
I now have three different K&F Concept lens adapters and am delighted with the quality and functionality of all of them. This particular adapter I wanted to use on 4 Canon FD prime lenses I had picked up, 28mm, 50mm, 135mm and 200mm, to use on my Canon 7D and 50D, it works brilliantly on both. Obviously you set your aperture on the lens plus focus manually but all great fun and whilst a lot slower than using a modern lens with electrical contact between the body and the lens, the results from ‘vintage’ lenses can be quite stunning. Although obviously different but a similar adapter, I also have a K&F adapter that allows me to use the same FD lenses on my Lumix G80 4-3 mirrorless camera, that works brilliantly too !
There is no play between the adapter and the camera mount.
Using this to adapt a Zeiss planar 50.7 on a lens turbo II to a NEX 6.There is no play between the adapter and the camera mount which is a issue on my chrome-plated brass copper Contax adapter ring. Although this is made of lighter material, (aluminum maybe?) this adapter still has a solid build and it works better, I cannot said anything durability for this particular item but I have half a dozen of various adapter rings before, none of them have had any issue. I would recommend this to people who don’t need AF confirm function.
One more lens back in use.
I had a Tamron lens I used to use in the studio for years and to be honest it is a great lens. I bought this to see if I could it up and running again and as it was a Nikon mount I needed this. It fitted well, just as well as the Tamron mount it replaced both on the lens and on the camera (Canon) and is well made.
The lens is manual not auto focus which was one of the reasons I stopped using it outdoors however; in the studio it’s great and once more back in use.
