Surprisingly functional
I was surprised to see what decent quality the camera is – Both in terms of the resolution and the screen quality. Well impressed. –
Its not a touch screen and so there are little navigation buttons and you press the camera shutter button to select your options. – Also has a handy date and time feature and not forgetting the little light that’s included. Its not a flash per-se, its either on or off with 3 different levels of brightness and a long press creates a flashing light.
Its very easy to use and set up and comes with some handy little games that the little ones can enjoy for hours including the Classic Snake game! love it!
This will make a perfect little Christmas gift.
Cutest unicorn camera
This is the cutest camera ever. It has such a a cute design and really comes with everything needed, including a detachable blitz, and so many other things. It also has lots of features and games to keep my niece busy all day. We had an lovely day with lot’s of pictures taken and the battery lasted. Good fun for my little one. Best birthday present ever. Plus the unicorn design can be removed.
What’s not to love?
This is very nice kids camera with a cool pink unicorn style that’s perfect for a birthday or Christmas gift.
The quality is very nice. I like the fact that it comes with the memory card included so there’s no need to buy another separately.
Although the title suggests that it is a 48 megapixel image, although I have no complaints over the image quality for the price and age demographic of the camera, I will be dubious about the sensor quality in relation to 48 megapixels again – but this isn’t a pro camera .

Great for the budding photographe
This was ordered for my young Niece who has started to show an interest in photography.
This kids camera has loads of features to try out such frames, filters, video, effects, etc. The camera is billed as a 48MP (which is pretty good when compared to my first digital camera in the 1990s which was 3MP) and should enable some decent shots.
The silicone cover should protect from some bumps and scrapes and it comes ready to use with an included 32 GB SD card.
The original listed price of 32.99 is higher than many similar items on Amazon, however, there is a money-off voucher available at the time of reviewing taking the price down to a much more competitive 21.44.
Overall, a nice Christmas or birthday present (especially at the lower price).
Surprised how well this camera toy is made and of the picture quality
I got a toy camera a while ago for much cheaper, and this one blows it out of the water. I cannot believe the resolution and quality of photos it takes for the price. And it actually has a flash too. It really does take high resolution photos, and decent video. Of course nothing like my professional kit, but for a kid’s toy, I’m impressed.
Other features like digital zoom and timelapse are cool, it’s almost too much for a young kid – but from what I can tell the build quality is decent enough to let a child grow into it, perhaps learn how to use the more complicated features with experience. I like that, because this makes this not just a toy, but an educational tool.
It’s really cute, and definitely made for girls. The only criticism I have is that it looks too “babyish”, so a girl who’s age 9-12 will think almost certainly think she’s too old to be seen with this, and let’s face it in today’s day and age, a child that age will most likely have a phone. I think a realistic age range for this would be ages 5-8 at most. Hence I rate it at four stars – because it’s actually a bit much for a young girl’s toy. The cosmetics and design of the camera are for very young children, but it’s built with technology more suitable for older children. So there’s a gap in form and function.
