I got these gum shields for my children and it’s crucial protective gear for young athletes involved in sports like boxing, rugby, or hockey where dental injury is a risk. Good value mouth guard two piece set. My son always manages to lose his gum shields in between training sessions so these are I’ll be useful. They were easy to mould and are good quality.
These both come with a carry case and instructions.
I got them for my 11 year old for school rugby and they are the right size for him.
The fitting process is the usual put in hot (but not boiling) water for a bit them put in mouth and gently bite down whilst pushing around your teeth with your fingers then put in cold water. Sounds simple but my son initially completely failed to get it right, fortunately you can have a second go and probably a third but aim to get it right first time.
The quality is very good and even the cases are decent with air holes. I recently bought a different mouth guard for 9 for him and this is the same quality and only 7 for 2 at the time of review with a voucher.
Good for combat sports and easy to use, does come with clear I instruction as of how to do it to fit best and little plastic cover to keep it safe and clean.
I bought this junior gum shield for my 15-year-old son who plays field hockey and it exceeded my expectations. The mouth guard molds easily and fits securely in his mouth. Although it took him some time to get used to wearing it, he now finds it comfortable in training. The thickened bottom provides great protection for his jaw and teeth. I feel more at ease knowing his teeth are well protected. These mouthguards for sports are absolutely reliable and of great value!
