Does even more than advertised
Although it doesn’t advertise it, this monitor does support 4k as well and well above 120hz which has been great for my PS5. Only thing to keep in mind is that you’ll have to buy seperate speakers for this.
Good purchase
Honestly best purchase I made,
I’m a midcore raider on a MMO GAME
And have recently started building my own Gaming area after playing on a tv for so long and honestly this has to have been one of the best purchases I’ve made the grathics and everything on this is amazing and very good value for money and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying
Amazing for a budget 165hz experience
Absolutely great monitor. No flaws 1 month in. Barely any ghosting from my experience. Games like Fortnite run perfectly no issue.
Just remember that you only get 165hz through the provided display port cable.
Great item for the price
Xmas present for my son who said he needed certain specs and this fitted what he needed and my budget for his gaming he loves it only thing to note is it doesn’t have built in speakers so will need to have ones to Connect or no sound
24/FHD/144HZ
This review is for the 24/FHD/144HZ model. I saw quite a few Youtube videos from gamers recommending this monitor so I decided to take the chance and order it. I was worried as a few reviews on here said that their monitor ended up with a line show up across the screen but I’m happy to report that I’ve had this for 2 months now and haven’t had any issues at all. It was super easy to set up and the stand was easily attached. The screen quality is fantastic, I really wasn’t expecting much at this price point but I’m blown away.
Ill save you rummaging through lots of reviews- here’s the lowdown –
1. Yes – Its 165hz –
2. FHD/IPS are the same – its decent quality, its not OLED but your knew that.
3. For the current price 135 its a steal for the FPS and the nits.
If you’re an enthusiast, yeah you’ll picky inconsequential flaws.
If you want to try 120+ FPS for the first time, you wont be disappointed 😉
Inexpensive entry level 4K scree
Barebones and almost no frills 4K screen at 27 inches, although nice to know HDR is there but I don’t find it useful or pleasing. Cannot comment on speakers but the screen is sharp and quite bright, but not as bright and vibrant as other more well known brands out of the box. The control buttons and OSD are not too fiddly and easy to work out and navigate to make adjustments. The extra pixel density makes most development tasks with a heavily cluttered IDE much more bearable. I’m happy to have moved on from an LG 2K ultrawide and returned to the 16:9 world with this monitor.
Good quality
I bought this as a replacement monitor, I’d never heard of this brand before but the specifications and the price were exactly what I was looking for. Didn’t have to change any of the default settings, it worked straight out of the box. Very pleased with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend.
Great while it worked ! Kids faul
Lasted a month .. you see kids being kids don’t want to listen, he placed it on an unstable area after being told not to .. guess what ..it fell off the unstable area and while the screen didn’t smash the pixels did ! No complaints for the short time he had it though ! He’s learning a hard lesson !
No audio
Great monitor, beautiful picture and colour for the start of a set up, however it has no audio which can be irritating, that might be specified but i’m not sure
As a basic 27″ monitor, works perfectly. Productivity apps and web work well with clear text. Games scroll without any obvious smearing, reasonable contract and colours look pleasing. Good refresh rate and works perfectly either as a screen for a set top box or for Mac (and PC). Only slight negative is that I needed to add a separate computer speaker as screen only has audio out jack. Overall, pleased with purchase, especially given the price.
Works well and is good value for money, the picture isn’t perfect though some of the blacks and colour isn’t represented as well like in higher quality specs, but you get what you pay for and this isn’t bad. It looked much better with contrast/brightness set to full and selecting a decent color scheme (for mac os) good luck with that!
Maybe not perfect for gaming but great value
Prtetty sure it doesn’t have 1-2m/s response time (6?) but I’m not a boom headshot gamer so not an issue. HUGE improvement in the desktop – and no problems now being cabled into the 4k TV – and nice to be able to stream stuff in 4k. I should have got one ages ago
Super monitor.
At my age you could not accuse me of being tech savvy.
So, the size is just right for my desk, the screen is beautiful and it hasn’t failed me once.
The only thing I found difficult, was understanding and using the hidden menu buttons at the back.
Maybe I should have asked my grandson.
Great Produc
It’s a nice product while using desktop this product gives me more piece while using websites and also for gaming it has clear vision and also really good for pocket.
Excellent 4K HDR monito
Very good monitor. Supports 4K and HDR and has HDMI x2, DisplayPort and an audio jack. Good price. It’s a pity it cannot be moved up and down but it is still very good.
Very light to lift - good quality inexpensive scree
This is a lower costing screen, but does a great job. Colours are vibrant, and no noticeable judder.
It does sit out from the wall, so if you are pushed for space on your desk, maybe get a wall mount or different stand.
Looks great – nice colours on the outside – red and black.
Primarily used for video streaming and occasional light gaming, this monitor has proven itself to be versatile and reliable. While I can’t provide extensive insights into high-level gaming quality, for everyday use, it stands out as an excellent choice.
Upon inspection, the monitor exhibited no dead or bright pixels, showcasing clear response times and minimal colour banding.
Easy to set up and seems very light for the size.
The colour contrast is very good, and the text seems crisp to me.
If you’re into photo editing, I would look at a higher spec model, the colours while very good, will be obvious to those who pixel peep!
4k for xbox series x
Screen seems good quality sadly doesn’t register as a 4k panel on xbox series x hdmi, UPDATED (TO GET 4K 60HZ ON XBOX SERIES X YOU WILL ALSO NEED HDMI TO DISPLAY PORT BI-DIRECTIONAL POWERED CABLE), it does however show as a 4k panel on pc, on xbox series x it only registers at 1400p, beware if your looking for a cheaper 4k screen for the xbox series x…
24in does not have audio jack and only has one hdmi
monitor itself is fine, about what you’d expect for the price but as the description states “two HDMI 1.4 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a headphone output, the computer monitor offers versatile connectivity options. The 3.5mm mini jack also allows for audio input” there is actually only one HDMI and no audio jack on the 24in version.
A few things to note:
1. The 165Hz is only reserved for the display port if you’re using an HDMI cable then you’ll be stuck with 120Hz
2. The light cannot be turned off and will start pulsing when the display is not connected. Might be annoying if you’re going to sleep as it is quite bright. You can turn off the display at which point it will turn off.
3. Turning off the display is not as responsive as it should be. Usually requires me to push the bottom twice.
4. Wake up time not as fast takes like three seconds. This is when using HDMI, can’t comment on the display port.
Overall it’s a great display for the price point and will be used for years to come. Finally I’d recommend getting a VESA mount for it.
Cheap at under 60 for a used one from the warehouse. Not sure I’d want to pay more though!
Pros – supports 75hz, has VGA input which is handy for the old Dell Optiplex I have along with an HDMI for my work PC. Cheap. Comes with an HDMI cable (not tested). Menu of options is not bad. Stand is tilt adjustable. Came in original packaging and I don’t think anything was missing.
Cons – I couldn’t get my HDMI to connect until I unplugged it and turned on the monitor with just VGA connected. Buttons for all the functions are on the back so a bit awkward to find. Stand is not height adjustable (normal at this price point). Colour is just okay for general use.
Overall I’m happy enough, there are a bunch of retailers selling refurbished or used monitors like this for around the 50 mark and for my needs it hits the spot. Not sure I’d use it for anything other than regular office work, youtube or very casual gaming though.
After my old monitor died I was on the quick search for a new one!
I had never heard of the brand so naturally was quite sceptical buying the monitor especially with such a high refresh rate for such a low price. however, I am blown away at the quality!
The 165hz works flawlessly, after intending to have this as a “standby” monitor until I could afford something “better” I am so glad I chose it and it now runs as my main screen.
Pros:
PRICE!
-You wont get much better than this in terms of quality to price ratio
Quality
– The monitor feels very sturdy and I have no worries about any knocks or bumps.
Easy to set up
– had this thing plugged and ready in no time!
Cons:
Colour
– Screen colour feels deep / not bright after first plugin, but after going to NVidia control panel and doing slight tweaks easily rectified!
Angles
– The stand does not come with the ability to angle the monitor up or down, slightly a problem as I am quite tall so the monitor feels lower down than it should be, however easily rectified by some books under the stand!
