There is screw to lock on the battery compartment, prevent kids from taking out the battery by themselves, it is very safe design for little one.
This was a perfect gift for my 4 year old. She really enjoys the magic of drawing on her tablet and “push button” erase. The tablet is light weight but durable. It has been dropped with no cracking or breaking. The pen is a good size for small hands and easy to use. We are very pleased with the product and the price.
This tablet is perfect for low or no tech families, like ours. In fact, I only got one because I assumed the kids would prefer our actual tablet computer, however they all wanted to play with this!
Pros: works well, stylus allows for precision, kids appreciated the rainbow of colors on the screen, battery screws in & can be turned off.
Cons: the stylus isn’t attached (though it has a hole on it & there’s a hole in the tablet to tie it to, I assume), it didn’t come with a string to attach it- so we’ve already had issues losing it in the car, and this just isn’t super sturdy.
Overall, this is a good option for no screens and if it were to break, replacing it wouldn’t be too costly.
I received the tablet and it is very cute. It was a bit smaller than I was expecting and very lightweight. My niece who is 4 years old loves to draw on it and spends lots of time playing with it. It is very small and convenient for traveling in the car! The tablet is very lightweight which I hope it can handle when she drops it! But so far, so good.
