Amazing little “devices” for someone with sensitivity to loud noises, music, crowds…

They allow for a nice conversation even in the middle of a club with music on hearing everything and everyone perfectly.

This is my second set – after I wore out the first one (lasted me 2 years) so would highly recommend.

I have sensory issues etc, where everything happening at once can overwhelm me easily, so i was looking for a way to tune out most of the noise but still be able to talk and hear others. These have been great, a total game changer, i can focus more on the tasks at hand without everything else overwhelming me. I would recommend these to anyone with sensory issues, or even adhd just to help them with their focus.

I’ve just received my new engage loops & they have changed my life already! Life is less noisy & stressful. I was really struggling with noise sensitivity & my loud toddler. I have no ear ringing from loud screams / music. I have high hopes for these little gems! They fit so snug & are so discreet. My husband couldn’t tell I was wearing them already. I do find my speech is a bit muffled but I am also full of cold so I think once that clears it’ll be perfect! Would highly recommend!

I’m immediately a fan of these. They aren’t really earplugs in the conventional sense and they aren’t designed to eliminate or cancel noise. They reduce noise levels and this is important in numerous settings.
They are particularly good if you have a snoring partner, as they seem to reduce the ‘snore’ to more of a more acceptable breathing sound.
For us older folk, the noise in bars and restaurants with a lot of hard surfaces can make being in proximity to loud groups or gatherings unpleasant, and even the general din of a busy place can make it difficult to hear conversations in groups. These ‘earplugs’ help deaden the background noise a lot.
You can also blame them for your selective hearing when being asked to take the bins out or open the back door for the dog. Magic.
The little plastic case is a nice touch but I’d prefer a longer lanyard. I suspect that four plugs (XS, S, M, L) could do with being expanded as I’m definitely between M and L. Also a better box design would be helpful for keeping the other size earplugs.
The manufacturer should consider making a luxury version with a spare set of each plug and a bigger carrying case to keep the spare set.

Bought these from a recommendation from a friend due to overstimulation whilst parenting. They do a really good job of muffling the noise without blocking it out completely so I can still hear what’s going on around me. Only thing I would say is they are quite expensive for what they are and the accessories (Loop etc.) are even more expensive. Worth trying if there’s a deal on.

So far, so good! Got the best sleep I’ve had in a while, the calmest day in the classroom, and the most productive report-writing ever. Make sure you use the correct size silicone – comes with XS, S, M and L. I assumed I was M, but turns out I’m XS. The fit is *completely* different.

I struggle with busy places partly due to the sound. I used these today as soon as they came and went to the supermarket- it was VERY busy and although I could still hear what was going on around me the sound was greatly reduced and I could feel that I was significantly less stressed than I usually would be in that situation. They are comfortable to wear and feel secure in my ears, especially as there’s the option to change the size of the bud. They come with a handy little carry case that has a loop on that you could attach to a lanyard or your keys.

I think these do help in situations where I am getting sensory overload, but in situations where I’m – for example – making converastion in a loud bar the problem I have is that it’s quite hard to tell how loud you’re speaking with them in, so I end up whispering or shouting. Not great in that situation but perfect for being in busy places to dampen the noise while still being able to hear.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI wanted to wait a while before leaving a review for these to make sure I got on with them, but I can confirm that as an autistic and hyper sensitive person, these Loops have been life changing for me. I spent some time weighing up the different types and whether to spend money on them at all and I think I got it just right. I can now go out and not feel as though I’m being constantly assaulted by sound; they don’t cancel it all out but rather turn the background noise down, and even the loudest bangs and screeches seem manageable. Crowds are now only averagely panic-inducing instead of a guaranteed meltdown. The fact that I can hear myself more loudly is actually a bonus, because it’s easier to self soothe and create some mental distance between me and everybody else.

I admit that I do constantly have to ask my wife whether I’m talking loud enough (the answer is usually no, but I do tend to mumble a bit anyway!) but I think that’s just a bit of practice. They can also make my ears get a bit itchy after a few hours of use, but I’m also prone to ear infections so I’m overly sensitive in that area, too. I’ve found no problems at all with the sizing (medium is fine for me).

Honestly, I’ve found them so useful and helpful and I can’t recommend them enough if you have a strong sound sensitivity but don’t want to listen to music via earbuds all of the time.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI brought these as I get overstimulated by noise, especially when my children are being loud. The noise would cause me to get headaches, feel stressed and I couldn’t focus or think at all in my own mind.

This is the best money I have ever spent. The design is beautiful, they are so comfortable to wear all day. They are easy to put in and out. Easy to clean. Discreet (which I LOVE) and when I wear them I can do everything I usually can but with absolute clarity of mind, it doesn’t impair my ability to have conversations (which I was worried about) and I don’t have that under water sound when I talk that some earplugs have.

I love you can choose the colour, they look pretty and you can choose a mode of sound blocking you need. Absolute genius invention and I could cry and how life changing these are.

The only thing I would say is the case is small so make sure you are organised in where you keep them if you lose things often but amazing as you can take anywhere with you.

    Thank you so much Loop.
