Wonderful Weighed blanket!
High quality product, superb packing and travel bag and super service from Mellie direct. Regret not buying the blanket and covers together as you can’t but then separately so suggestion to others, invest as the blanket isn’t easily washed (you would need a machine that can take c 10kg and then to lay it flat to dry. Otherwise I’m getting used to it, two nights in and starting to sleep deeper, better sleeps and will also take up some advice in their E-book to help me. Great little company and beautiful product!

Looked at lots of different blankets and reviews and glad I decided on this one. I think the small stitched pockets help to keep the beads well distributed across the blanket. Good quality blanket and certainly helped me get a good nights sleep for the first time in ages ! I was concerned about getting too hot but didn’t seems to be an issue – will be interested to see how it is in the summer. I didn’t get the one with the cover but definitely think you need a cover for ease of cleaning .

I was excited to get this package this morning. Have done some research on weighted blankets a while ago but I wasn’t impressed with the quality from other sellers here on Amazon. I ordered two from different sellers and ended up sending them back. Months go by and this Mellie blanket pops up as something I might be interested in. It’s absolutely amazing. The quality and feel of the product is exceptional and although we have no medical reason to buy it I found it gave an exceptional nights sleep as you feel really snug and secure. On top of that the packaging was excellent and I am ordering another as a gift in time for Christmas. The icing on the cake was the little card inside which tells the story of this small UK business on an adventure to make a difference and so I was compelled to make my first ever amazon review. Really impressive and highly recommended. Just ordered their weighted sleep eye mask as well so will be interested to see if that is also a game changer. Thank you team Mellie.
I always wanted to try the weighted blanket and finally got the opportunity to experience its real benefits. I think that I was smart when ordering mine as I ordered a size bigger than I needed. This proved to be beneficial as I could easily wrap blanked inwards and even during cold nights, I would feel the benefit of warmth and relaxed sleep. The blanket fabric is so smooth and soft that gets an extra soothing feeling while sleeping.
I occasionally have sleepless nights and am turning in bed a lot but after trying this for three days (I know it is a short period of time) I had continuous sleep with occasional turnovers. I will update you more after a longer period using this weighted blanket. So far, my experience is positive, and I would thoroughly recommend this product to those who need relaxed sleep but also are not afraid of having some extra weight, placed on them, during bedtime.

Just WOW
Finally decided to get a weighted blanket for my kids because we always had trouble with sleeping. I must tell that this has made the change it needed. My kids love the aquamarine look and this has a sensory texture to it as well which helps developing their senses. Also plus that it comes with 2 covers, one for colder nights and one for warmer so a good all around set you can use. At the end of the day it is true that you get what you pay for and this worth all the pennies. Well done.
Unbelievably comfortable

The material and build / stitching is of a very high quality. The loops which tie everything together are great, really stop the inside moving around. Both the fleece and cotton exteriors feel great.

I was very skeptical of the price originally as you can get other blankets for much less but not a penny wasted! Such great quality! The warm cover that it comes in is so soft, just like a standard blanket and the cold cover is just like a normal bed sheet. I read so many reviews of different blankets and I am so glad to of picked this one. The vibrant colours are a plus as well. Product has helped my sleep and relaxed me in the evenings on the sofa. Highly recommend this product!
Exceeded my expectations
So happy with the blanket, arrived very fast and all as described. Purchased the small size for my eldest daughter but we all using it . Came in a carry bag , the actual blanket is in the cover . I also use it in hot days somehow it keeps me cool under . Great product and very high quality, worth the money . Highly recommend!

She’s at the age where her imagination has escalated quickly and she was dreaming a lot which was causing a lot of upset and sleepless nights. Since using our Mellie weighed blanket her sleep has dramatically changed for the better! We may have one wake up usually where she’s kicked her blanket off but then straight back down after it’s super soft & comfy too which is always a must for bed time!

The blanket itself came in the carry bag with an extra cover.
The fluffy cover is really warm and perfect for the cold nights.
The cotton cover keeps it cooler so it’s great for the warmer nights.
I’ve been using this for nearly a month and notice a huge change in my sleep pattern. It helps me fall into a deeper sleep, meaning I’m not so tired throughout the day.
It was definitely a great purchase and I’m super happy with it.

I usually don’t write reviews on amazon. I wanted to wait and make sure I use the blanket enough before writing a review as it is quite an expensive product.
Pros:
– the quality is top-notch, have not had any issues with the blanket
– we use it almost every night when watching movies or tv
– the weight feels very nice and cozy
– the glass beads (that give it weight) are put in small pockets so it feels very firm and the weight stays equally spread through the blanket even after extensive usage
– it makes no sound when moving
– the extra cover is a nice touch, we have not used it yet but might do when it gets warmer
– the cover is very well tied in so the blanket does not move around
– it is definitely worth the cost if you can afford it
Cons:
– it is on the expensive side
– it is quite heavy (but this is what you are buying!)
– have not tried to change the cover but it looks like it is an involved process
Overall I recommend it. 9/10 just because of the expensive price tag but you are getting what you pay for.
We spend quite a lot of our lives sleeping and if you’re investing in a good bed and a great mattress the best thing you can add after that is this amazing blanket!
Seems to be helping restless legs
I really like my weighted blanket! It’s soft, heavy and seems to be helping my restless leg syndrome. I use the cotton cover with mine at the moment which I find cooler than the fleece cover. My favourite thing is it has little ties inside to keep the blanket in place.
I simply LOVE IT…tested it for a week and found it is a great stress relief premium product from packaging to covers, to flyer and of course the blanket itself.
Very soft, outstanding quality materials, blanket is silent and I love the plush/fleece travel bag that for now has been converted into a nice toy holder and the kids enjoy playing with it.
If you jast want to get the most out of this bundle, the covers can also be used on normal duvets in your home and the colours are truly lovely.
It does not come cheap but as they say…you get what you pay for, and in my opinion, it is a good price for the bundle.

I bought the blanket for my husband as he has restless sleep and wakes up 3 or 4 times a night. After trying it out for a week, he sleep on average 6 hours without waking up, which is a great progress for him. I read that these type of blankets help with restless sleep, but didn’t know how to differentiate between the options out there. This brand was recommended by a friend who got it for her son suffering form ADHD and who tried several different ones over time. She advised this is the best blanket on the market, at the moments. Decided to try it out and I am very impressed. Firstly, was surprised by the fast delivery -arrived 2 days early. Secondly, you can tell this is a high end product by the materials used, wrapping (own product box came in the amazon box), it has its own bag and two blanket covers: one for winter and one for summer. My friend told me not all blankets come with cover which is a big issues because these blankets are heavy and they need special covers which hook to them. I was delighted by the fact that the winter cover was already attached to the blanket so that probably saved me a good 10-15 minutes….. I got the biggest size which works well now, in winter, but thinking that might not be the case in summer. The size is just big enough for a double or queen size bed and if you are the snuggle type… probably wouldn’t work too well if you like to sleep on your side of the bed and far away from your partner. Thinking to get myself a separate smaller size for summer, maybe…. overall, hubby and myself are very happy with our blanket. You can tell this was made with a lot of care and by someone who knows how these blankets are supposed to work … definitely would recommend!!
Usually I don’t write down to many reviews, but I considered this deserves one, because after trying and returing heavy blankets from different sellers and sources, I stopped at this one.
To keep things short, if you need a heavy blanket, which is made from good materials, great stitching and a full bag of accessories, look no further.
It actually helps with sleep and stress, and by using it over the couple of nights now, I can feel a difference after waking up.
It has the right weight, I went for the 8.2 kg, right size 150x200cm, right materials and stiching (feels premium) and as a side note, doesn’t make funny noises when moved around.

I was rather hesitant buying a weighted blanket, but it has been recommended by a friend for my daughter. I can say that this was the best decision ever as my daughter loves it. She used to frequently wake up during the night and now she always asks for her blankey before she goes to bed, she finds it very comforting and we are now happy parents! The item is indeed premium and if you want a complete product with everything included this is the way to go! It comes with two colourful fitted covers and a fancy carry bag. The blanket comes well packed and we are very pleased with the purchase! PS: we have already washed one of the covers and it kept the colours intact.
