I got a branded heated blanket last year and lo and behold the controller died on me so my friend reccomended this one. It’s bigger and cosier and hasn’t died on me yet so highly reccomend!

My daughter bought me one two years ago, when it suddenly stopped working I immediately ordered another which arrived the next day.
Due to rising energy costs, I can no longer have my heating on so I’m able to keep my bills to a minimum by using my throw. An absolute necessity!!!

I bought one each for my elderly parents, for Christmas, and they have both been underneath them ever since, and it’s March tomorrow. Ahhh, good old British weather. They were so impressed that they bought me one a few days later, and we all now wonder why we didn’t buy them much sooner.

Mixed feedback
This is the largest electric heated throw that I’ve bought and the quality seems good, soft to touch etc.
However, compared with other throws that I’ve owned, this doesn’t seem to get as hot, it’s almost like it heats certain parts of the throw, rather than all of it. I’ve looked at the settings/controls and I can’t see that I’m doing anything wrong.
On the flip side, the others that I’ve owned have all overheated at some stage so this may be a blessing!
Winner if you have a sphynx!
I bought this for my sphynx cat, Garibaldi in December, and it’s the end of February now, and he barely moves from there! It’s got nine settings, but we usually just put it on and leave it on for nine hours, which is really handy when we go to work because I know that he will have the opportunity to be warm whilst I am out the house. it takes literally seconds to get warm, and I believe it is washable, although I haven’t actually tried that myself. I will definitely buy another one.
Got this for cold, pregnant wife before xmas
We had a cold snap. Gave it to her early.
She uses it most nights. Not always plugged in.
One complaint is the bottom temp is 24. Which is just a touch warm. I can’t imagine who could use this on full power.

Beautifully soft and gorgeously warm
I have now bought one of these blankets for my elderly mother and mother-in-law who have both fallen in love with it. The blanket has a fully adjustable heat setting and timer but it is also warm enough without being plugged in. My mother now uses the blanket during the day in her chair and places it on her bed (without plugging it in) at night. Great for keeping warm without turning the heating up
Amazing
Couldn’t live without this now. Saved me a fortune on my gas bills as I can just sit with this and stay warm instead of heating the whole house. I also put it over my bed covers at night and it keeps me warm throughout the night even when it’s off as its so thick. Highly recommend.
Also my cat loves it too and it’s easy to wash so can’t fault this product.
My most sensible and huge money saving purchase
I live alone and have not needed to use my heating even in minus weather conditions this amazing blanket has not even needed to be used past no-1 on it temperature options up to 9.the choice to choose how long you want the blanket to stay warm is great.the most amazing money saving purchase I have ever had.its quality is so high with safety features and easily washed in washing machine.so glad I even got it in a flash sale but it is worth every penny as it has already paid for itself.
I bought 4 electric blankets as I’d been looking for a blanket that gets really hot.
The pro’s:
– I chose the tanned colour blanket. It’s tanned on one side and white on the other, It was a really lovely colour.
– The quality was nice, it was soft and luxurious to the touch.
– You could feel the wires but they hardly noticeable to be honest.
– It had lots of different temperature settings
– The wire was nice and long
– The remote control a decent size.
– The kingsize blanket is a great size for 2 people.
The con’s:
– It found it didn’t stay hot.
– It also didn’t go hot at the edges.
– The blanket was thin
I returned the product as It wasn’t what I was looking for.
I bought it for my husband who always feels cold in winter while I prefer colder rooms. So this was a solution to satisfy us both needs.

You can detach it and use as a regular blanket when it’s heated enough.
It has timer which is super handy to set up if you worry to fall asleep while it’s on.

It may not suit tall people as it is on the short side.
You can’t wash the cover unfortunately, its not removable.

In England it’s freezing right now and I’m so so so glad I have this. I didn’t know whether to get this or a under sheet heated blanket and I’m glad I got this. I put it between my bed sheet and my duvet before I go to bed and turn it on and when I get in it’s all toasty, but on top of that I can carry it around the house. It heats up way quicker than I assumed it would (within 10 mins it’s at full heat). A really good purchase! The blanket is comfy on its own as well.
Put on top of duvet and still works well
Good controls and effective heating. I bought 2 – one for a bed in apartment another for home use. Placing blanket closest to skin under duvet is snuggly (check again for yourself if this is safe from instructions). However, wake up with blanket all over the place, requiring reset. This doesn’t happen if you place on top of duvet (I know- mad isn’t it?) but my wife insisted. Guess what- turns out (as usual) she was annoyingly correct. Bed is warm like someone has slept in it and no blanket chaos in the morning.
Absolutely love this. It is on my bed and is used all night. The preheat mode really warms the bed in about 20mins. When getting in I change it to heat setting 3 and find that more than ample. I did buy the largest size available and it fits the double bed with a good overlap, I also then top it off with a lightweight quilt above because I want to heat the bed not the room. Even on 3 my wife finds it too warm. Actual running costs can’t be given but I estimate it at about 10p per night. Probably will be used for about 4 months being the coldest time here so my estimate would be about 10 per year to run. I have no problem reccomending this to anyone and certainly rate it 10 out of 10. BTW I am an old age pensioner with end stage arthritis and reduced circulation problems that mean I feel the cold more than most. I hope this review helps with your possible purchase.
Pretty good
This is excellent to turn on around half an hour before getting into bed.
I either put it on top of the blanket and duvet, or below the blanket or duvet and it heats the bed up perfectly, making it lovely and toasty and so cosy.
The only issue is for me there is no risk of any burns as I find the highest setting of 9 warmish, but really not that warm, in fact I find the heat setting 7 the same as 9 on a heat level.
But some people may find 7 or 9 too hot, but it’s still worth getting, just be aware it may not be as warm as some people would like.
Still, I’d rather not be without it, the quick heating setting works well at heating up-well quickly!

Variable temps meaning it can go to very very hot.
Outside twmp jist 2 days ago -3 degrees, using the blanket on mode 6(goes to 10) after about an hour i had to turn it off as i was feeling hot. I haven’t turn the heating on since using this.
Can be washed as well. Just the blanket itself is warm enough tbh. Sherpa material inside which is so cozy.

Well worth the money
In these cold times with bills the prices they are a heated blanket is a godsend, this one specifically is incredible because of the timer and the portability of it. I work from home so being able to take it from the bed to my desk and down to the kitchen in the mornings is the only thing that gets me out of bed!
Having the timer is brilliant too as it means I don’t fall asleep with it on the highest temperature, it also means when my boyfriend gets home from his nightshift I can schedule it to be on when he gets in and he’s super cold!
I used to have an under sheet one, which I found did get warmer than this one. But having a much larger variety of settings means 9 is the equivalent to 3 on the old one! I rarely have it on 9 as between 4 – 7 is perfect but if I’m extra chilly I can blast 9 for an hour and it will turn off

Heated throw
I purchased this as a recommendation from a friend as she adores her heated throw.
I’ve never had a heated throw so decided to treat myself for a Xmas gift and I am so pleased I did. I absolutely adore my heated throw and wish I knew about them a long time ago! I got a decent sized one as I have it on my bed and I also wanted it to snuggle under with my child when we have our movie nights together. My child loves it also and I love how it has a pre heated button and you can put it on for as many hours as you like and then once it’s reached your selected hour it turns itself off.
All in all I would t be without mine as I love it so much and are worth the investment.

Imagine getting into bed on a freezing cold (minus 3) night in the buff with no heating on. I made this sacrifice for you, my fellow sufferers..
I had earlier placed my newly
purchased throw on top of the upper bed sheet but below the quilt. I switched the heat to 6 and the time duration to 8……If nothing else I am thorough in my research.
An hour later and 4p worse off, I climbed between the sheets only to be startled by the strangest of voices

You can instantly move your legs and feet to any position in the bed and be greeted by welcoming warmth….no more having to overcome the cold spots by gradually using your feet to warm them up. No more pulling the quilt up to your chin and assuming the foetal position
I left it on all night (6 hours) but turned it down to three. It had heated up the base blanket and sandwiched the heat between the upper blanket and the quilt. Before I got up I had a quick blast of 7… naughty I know.

I originally bought a much more expensive brand 160 x 120 throw for my office for wfh. I’d seen the mia&coco one but had dismissed as it couldn’t be tumble dried.
However, I’m an average sized female but the expensive brand one wasn’t really big enough for wrapping right around myself when sitting at the computer, and wasn’t particularly effective (disappointing).
So, based on reviews, I decided to order the Mia&coco 180 x 130 (despite the fact that it couldn’t be tumble dried) to use for watching tv in the sitting room (very cold).
It’s SO good! I can wrap it right round myself, round my shoulders, back and front, with plenty of room to spare, so it’s really snuggly, and it covers the top of my legs.
There’s a good range of temperature and timing settings, and is easy to adjust if you get too hot or cold. It will turn off automatically at the end of your chosen time.
The control is really easy to hold and use and is easy to see. An instruction booklet is supplied.
The power cable is quite long – haven’t measured it but it goes comfortably from my sofa, over the arm, down to the floor and along to a socket about a metre away, without stretching it and with plenty to spare.
I bought the grey option which is cream on the reverse.
Washing – I’ve only had it a few days so haven’t washed it yet, but it can be machine washed. For me, the only downside is that it can’t be tumble dried.
Cost – I’ve no idea what it costs per hour to run but there was no really noticeable difference on the smart meter screen after I’d had it on for a few hours.
I’d definitely recommend this brand, and would also recommend this size, rather than the smaller version, if you want to sit with it wrapped round your back and shoulders.
I wish I’d bought this one for my office in the first place as it’s so much better than the expensive brand.
1. Double Size – We bought this first. It can will maintain the same amount of heat over time up to 9 hours. We usually just set it between 4 – 6 heat setting. The fleece is soft and comfortable. The problem with this size is that it seems to be smaller that a regular double size blanket. We made it as an under blanket heater instead and we cover ourselves with a duvet.
2. King Size – We bought this one since the double size is small for what it was. This one had a different and much bigger controller. I recommend for anyone to buy this size instead. The issue we are noticing about this product is that it seems that it turns of in between heating like cooling down then turning it on again. Not really sure. Like we will set it at Heat 5, then after a few seconds you will feel the heat. Then after that it seems the heat is not there. I thing it is heating up to max initialy then lowering the heat to the desired setting. It also feels like the heat is not distributed properly like it is less warm on the part away from the main switch.
Buy one today, trust me..
The highest i have had the temp was 3 and within minutes that is to hot..lol
I have not used my duvet since i bought this, it is not plugged in at night time, maybe for a few minutes until i warm up and then it is unplugged for the rest of the night.. This thing keeps the heat in so well even though it is pretty light and it is nice and snugly..
I suffer a lot of pains and as the winter comes in, the pains grow, i wrap this beast around me and within minutes, i am in a lot less pain…
If you are in doubt of buying this beast, BUY it, trust me.. I have seen the other reviews about material coming loose, i have had no issues, i am not saying the others are lying, it just has not happened to me YET and i have been using mine everyday since i got the blanket..
If the makers are reading this, it would have been nice if the blanket was slit half way down on each side, make it easier to wrap around my legs, maybe velcro it half way down..!
This has to be the best buy I’ve bought for along while. I feel the cold easily I have raynauds and fibromyalgia arthritis neuropathy. I usually have in my bed a thick quilt, a bed throw and a hand knitted blanket to keep me warm in bed. In the lounge I feel any draught and temp drop. But this amazing heated blanket has surpassed what I thought it would be. On my bed all I have is a lightweight quilt and this blanket and I’m toasty warm all night my hands and feet are always cold or freezing this time of year and blue looking. For the first time I’m warm and even get hot which is so amazing for me my pain is reduced in bed at night I wake up feeling not so stiff I have less pain. I have the blanket on 3 all night if it’s not to chilly I’ve had it on preheat and the highest temp but even that’s to hot for me. And love having it over me in the lounge im no longer cold and it means I don’t need to have the heating on for as long or as much. Only downside and it’s my fault I was to excited in ordering it i bought a single size which is perfect for the lounge. But I have a single hospital bed but have double quilt blankets etc. but it does the job and more. I’m so glad I bought this and next month I’m buying a double for my bed and have the single just left in the lounge for me. And the handset control is so easy and self explanatory to use has a good long cable also.
Over the years, I’ve had several electric blankets. They have all been under blankets, that lasted from 3 days to 2 years. The last one I had lasted those 3 days. With how difficult it is to get an under blanket on the bed, this time I searched for something that goes on top. At least if it dies an untimely death, replacing it would be simple.
I fell on this blanket. The reviews were good. Price, even with the discount was a little high for me. It was pretty much 1/2 off, if the price hadn’t been artificially adjusted. I got the 120×160 size as it would fit on my single bed.
I love this blanket.
The controller is amazing. You have the option of both setting and adjusting the heating. The heating can be adjusted from 1 (coolest) to 10 (hottest). And you can adjust for how long the heating element is on, up to 9 hours. on top of this, there is a ‘preheat’, where it will quickly warm up before you get under it, and then settle on whatever settings you’d last used.
I’ve been perfectly toasty every night. And if it gets too warm, and I start sweating, it’s easy to turn down the temp.
How did I live without this blanket? How did I live without this amazing controller?

I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it has been working well. It’s large enough to wrap it around you. I like to use it when I am working at my desk and it keeps me toasty warm. High setting can get extremely hot so be aware of this. On the electricity bill front, it is cheap as chips. The other day, I kept it on for 4 hours straight and it cost me 20 pence.
The only downside to this is the fleece side of the blanket sheds a lot (see attached image). I’ve ordered a rolling lint remover to get the fluff off my jumper and rugs (yes, it can leave quite the mess).
Overall, for the price I paid, this is a good investment for the incoming winter season.
Edit: Update – I put the blanket in the washing machine and it mostly got rid of fleece shedding issue. So now, it sheds very little (fluff here and there). I reckon the next time I put it in the wash again, I won’t have this issue.
