They are so much better looking than the original white plates , kind of reminds me of the mass effect vault case .. The final little push for it to lock into place was a bit bit harder than the original plates but the are a great upgrade for any PS5

I purchased the PS5 Faceplate Cover Replacement and I have to say, I am quite impressed. Very good looks grea
Very good looks great ps5 should have come like this. Only problem with the Sides are alittle bit hard to put on one or two pinss are of by 1mm with a bit of firm pressure they fit on perfect would recommend these
You need to smash it against the floor!
To save the rest of you a lot of pain… Put the face plate in position and then smash the console against the floor… It’s literally the only way to get the clips over no amount of tugging pushing or pulling will do it. After several hours of figuring this out I’m happy that it’s now in place
Looks great but difficult to attach
This item is great it looks very good when on it can be a little fiddly to attach and you could easily snap a couple of the little plastic pegs that hold it on so just be patient when putting it on and your ps5 will look great my son loves i

I was on the fence before buying these plates but I am glad, I bought it. It’s worth the money. Very high quality and it looks beautiful in black. And also, very easy to install. totally recommend
A great revamp for your PS5
The PS5 faceplates come in a brown box, and the plates are made from a strong slightly flexible plastic, this was my first time swapping the PS5 covers and I found it quite difficult getting the face plate on but there is a method to it and after watching a video on how to do it I managed to finally get it on.

Superb aftermarket plates to improve air flow and looks of your PS5
For only 30, you will not only guarantee much better resale value in the future, but most likely prolong the life of the PS5 due to these plates’ ability to allow greater airflow and protect it from scratches, bumps and knocks a lot better than the stock ones.
My only regret is not going for the black ones as they look so cool, but my whole TV cabinet is white as are most accessories, so would have looked too much out of place. Pretty much essential for any PS5 owner.

Effective Cheap Unofficial Produc
I am one of the minority who actually really likes the White of the PlayStation 5, and with side plates designed to be taken off for both cleaning of the fans but also to change the cosmetic look of your PS5, it wasn’t going to be long before rival versions were out in the wild.
These are not official plates, only Sony can directly produce Officially licensed side plates, probably why these are names P5 Plates but the design is absolutely spot on and fit exactly as the official plates do.
they are easy to install and takes mere minutes once you know how to remove and replace the plates of your PS5 and I do like the design on these and would be tempted to get another in a different colour, they do have versions that match the colours of the officially sold plates.
They just look great, and work in the same way the original side plates work so no need to worry about blocking the cooling fans. Price is a little high for them I would say but a definite alternative option to the far higher priced Official side plates.
No Complaints!
I’ve been tempted to purchase some vinyl skins for my PS5 and very nearly pulled the trigger recently however was offered the chance to try these replacement hard covers so thought I would and see how they fared. Had never heard of the brand before so worst case scenario, I ended up disappointed and had just lost a bit of time in purchasing and applying the vinyl skins.
The plates were well packaged, came in their own carboard box and were nicely protected inside the carboard box with film and bubble wrap. Considering the brand isn’t a well known name, the plates look very durable and high quality and the design used is great.
Being honest I’m not sure what was the hardest bit, getting the existing PS5 original plates off my PS5 or getting these on… don’t worry it’s the same for getting the original PS5 plates back on too though there is a technique and once you’ve mastered it then both the original plates and these go on in seconds.
I can’t really comment on the durabilty of the plates as I don’t expect to be dropping my PS5 anytime soon however and in my opinion, they do seem to be a bit more sturdier and of a higher density material than the original PS5 ones. The top cover especially as the original PS5 one seems a little thin material wise, at least on my PS5.
All in all, I think the replacement plates are great. They haven’t impacted the performance of my PS5, it still works like it did and looks funkier than it did too! I think it looks better than it did with the original plates if I’m honest but that’s just me.
If you’re after some decent non plain replacement plates or even just want a spare to swop out when you so desire then I’d happily recommend buying these.
You won’t be disappointed… I wasn’t.

Comes well packaged in a box with bubble wrap pouches for each half. Each piece is half wrapped in plastic for some reason rather than fully wrapped, but are kept well protected in the packaging none the less.
The pieces feel very solid and are not flimsy and don’t bend easily. The design is obviously subjective but is quite modern. Design appears on both sides so you can stand the console upright and still see the design on both sides.
The covers fit fairly well onto the console, no major issues encountered. It feels like they are shaped the same as the original plates so should remain well fitting.
More colour choices would be nice, such as green. Otherwise very good, can’t fault it.

Good replacement faceplate
Installing this replacement faceplate was slightly nerve wracking, but only because you know if you broke the console you were in for a long wait for a replacement! Nerves aside, removing the original plates and adding these was pretty easy, and the instructions (as detailed above) are spot on. The design is decent and feels sturdy enough to take a few accidental knocks. I like the idea of being able to customise these plates and still have the originals if I want a change again. All in all a decent, well-constructed product that I would recommend.
Must have accesory
Great protection for you must have ps5, must easier to clean than the white face plate.
Installation is super easy and fast, really impressed with the quality of this, very well made and so far scartch proof. My children often dump their controllers on top of the ps and the priginal 1 did start to show wear and tear but this face plate is doing good after 6 weeks of having controllers and games palced on top of it.

Add some unique to your console
This is a great alternative to the official Playstation faceplates for the PS5 and the quality is great. It really changes the PS5 from basic white to something more stylish and switches up the look in a way that saves on the price of a limited edition console.
It was also suprisingly easy to switch over but has drastically changed the look, with a really great quality and finish on the design which is great to look at, especially since the PS5 is bulky so it cushions having to look at it on the shelf as a big white brick.
These are also super affordable compared to the official ones and provide a great alternative for those on a budget. I might even have to purchase a different colour for when I get bored of this one as it makes a huge difference to my gaming set-up.

A good PS5 faceplate.
This PS5 faceplate is ideal if you’re somebody that’s into customisation or doesn’t particularly like the look of the original PS5 case.
It’s relatively easy to install and once on, offers good air ventilation and feels strong and sturdy.
You have the option of three different colours, either red, black or white.
All in all, it’s a good PS5 faceplate and similarly priced to others on Amazon at 31.99 for the white version, which was the cost at time of writing.

Eye catching red design!
This PS5 replacement faceplate is stunning and in my opinion worth every penny. Unlike many brands I’ve seen in the past, this one is so easy to replace and hence install. In fact, all it takes is 4 steps and about 5-10 minutes of time. I personally found the design to be excellent and actually way better than the original face plate that came with my console. It is important to note that this face plate is only compatible with the PS5 disc edition and won’t be compatible with the digital version.
The design features stunning abstract shapes which duffer throughout the face plates. This design looks premium and sophisticated, but doesn’t look over the top. Exactly what I was looking for. I love the stunning red colour, it looks great and certainly goes with the colour vibe of my room. The face plate clips on perfectly and doesn’t come off easily. It is quite thick and hence durable and was well packaged without any defects when it arrived.
Overall, a quality faceplate for my PS5. Very pleased and highly recommended!

1 plate was awkward to fit, but once done it looks grea
My son has requested one of these and I thought this design was quite fun. It’s a bit like transformers.
Looks very futuristic.
Plate with disc was easy to install but the other side seemed to be little off shape and it took me a while to fit it correctly (I’ve ended up twisting opposite corners in opposite directions and that helped) as it seems to have a little too flat shape.
TIP: watch YouTube tutorial on how to change it first, it will make it easier (there are 2 lock points, 1 on each side in the same corner) that have to be release before removing the paste.
Once done it looks great!

These PS5 cover plates comes in a cardboard box and inside you’ll find two plates which are wrapped in bubble wrap for protection. This set is designed for the disc version of the PS5 since it has the bulge and opening for the disc drive.
They are quite rigid and feel quite strong, so they don’t feel cheap but feel well made. The design is very attractive and gives it an aggressive look thanks to its all-red colour and embossed markings. There are some sections that have a metallic look to them along with some gloss black detailing. There’s also some carbon fibre sections which gives a really convincing carbon fibre look.
Installation is simple as the PS5 panels are designed to be taken off and these plates are a direct replacement. You simply lift up the top left corner and slide the cover downwards and it will be released. The installation is just the reverse and as you slide the cover up, you’ll hear it click into place and it is then secure. These are a really simple way to enhance the look of your console with very little effort as these completely change the way your console looks. It takes a couple of minutes to change the covers so it’s really easy to do.
These are an easy way to enhance the look of your console and look very aggressive due to its design. The carbon fibre sections look awesome and reflect the light nicely. I’m very impressed with the build quality of these and can recommend them if you’re wanting to improve the look of your console
Fits nicely on my PS5 and adds a unique modern style
A PS5 faceplate that has a nice design and really durable.
I purchased this fantastic PS5 accessory and received it just yesterday. After installing it, I noticed that it drastically reduced noise, and it kept my PS5 cool even after extended periods of use. It’s of excellent quality and feels exactly like the original, however the faceplates are somewhat thicker than the real thing. Changing plates is also simple because they are attached by clips. If you don’t know how to do it, there are lots of YouTube tutorials that will show you how.
The faceplate’s surface can protect the PS5 console from scratches, keeps dust at bay, and is simple to clean. The inside of the faceplate has a click design that makes installation and removal a breeze. The faceplate cover is composed of high-quality injection-molded plastic that is sturdy, durable, and shockproof. It was created specifically for the PlayStation 5-disc edition console and fits well.
Overall, I think this is a great way to make your PS5 look way better in design and for the price of 31.99, its reasonable value. It’s not that hard to install and the quality is almost just the same as the original. I recommend you try it too.
For me they massively improve the look of the console, making it look more sleek and slimline.
The instructions on the ad are easy to follow, no instructions in the box, and once you get past any fear of snapping the plates, they are easy to attach or remove.
Big Improveme
Like with many people, the white PS5 sticks out a mile in our otherwise black home cinema set-up. It just looked awful, but this cover makes it blend in perfectly. The quality of the cover is at least as good as the original, but the finish looks better as it has patterns to it.
I was a bit nervous about fitting it, especially taking of the original covers, but I watched the video on here a couple of times and did it in maybe five minutes. It took more effort than I expected (and liked) to remove the originals, and clicking the new ones into place wasn’t as smooth as I hoped, but I got there without breaking anything.
If you fancy upgrading your horrible white case, then look no further, as this is a definite upgrade.
It’s fair to say that the PS5’s design divided opinion. I didn’t mind the design too much, despite it’s slightly awkward shape, but I’ve never been a fan of the white face plates. I’d much rather it had been black, so I’ve been considering the replacement faceplates for a while.
I’ve had my PS5 since release day and it resides in my office where I pretty much live most of the day. Not that you’d know, as it’s tucked away out of sight under my desk alongside my other consoles. The white faceplates have been out of sight and out of mind, but these Mooroer PS5 Faceplates might make me reconsider where the PS5 lives. They’re really funky, a great design that makes you want to display your console rather than hide it away. You could imagine this being an Alienware computer tucked inside.
The faceplates come in a cardboard box, each inside a bubble wrap bag. They’re a direct replacement for your existing faceplates and no tools are required. If you’ve not taken the faceplates off before there is a definite knack to it. You need to brace the base of the console with one hand and then pull and lift the other end towards you. Watch a YouTube video if you get stuck because you really can think you’re about to snap something. I’ve had my faceplates off a few times in the last couple of years, to clean dust out and to install a bigger hard drive, so I was confident in what I was doing.
The new faceplates slot back in with a clunk and you’re good to go.
I did notice that the new faceplates are ever so slightly thicker than the originals. Only by the tiniest fraction, but the third-party feet that I have for my PS5 that came with a rear-mounted cooling fan didn’t quite snap into place quite as well as they had previously. They still fit, but not quite as well.
Other than that, everything else fits back as it should. None of the ports are obstructed and the external cooling fan I have fits without issue.
If there’s a niggle it’s that these faceplates all seem quite expensive for what they are. They’re little more than a cosmetic upgrade, but at least the Mooroer isn’t the most expensive you can buy. So, if you’re keen on making your PS5 a more attractive statement than it currently is, I’d say you could do a lot worse than considering the Mooroer.
If you’ve finally had enough of your enormous, awkwardly shaped, bright white PS5 ruining the otherwise solid black (or mostly black) entertaining setup that you have going, then these slide-on faceplate covers are such an incredibly quick and easy way of transforming the look of the PS5 in literal seconds!
The faceplate come off by lifting up the rear corner a centre metre or so, then sliding the entire faceplate down/towards the base of the PS5. To install these news one, just align the hooks into the designated holes in the console and slide it into place!
The material is thick ABS plastic, sculpted to have some super car or Decepticon style design throughout the plates, which looks great and gives the PS5 a greatly needed makeover compared to the white plastic OEM plates!

My ps5 used to get heated at the back even though I placed it in a well-ventilated place and the console also used to be so noisy. Hence, I bought this faceplate which is an amazing accessory for my ps5. It greatly reduced the noise and even though I used my ps5 for long hours, it is still cool. Easy to install by following the instructions. Must have a faceplate for every gamer. I will surely recommend this faceplate to my friends.
