I got this for my husband who with work spends most of his days on quad bikes and other off road vehicles without roofs or windows. He has to wear a helmet and often finds balaclavas get too hot and sweaty which in turn causes rashes especially around the mouth area. This fits perfectly under his helmet and has holes around the mouth and ears making breathing more easy and no moisture build up. He finds it very comfortable to wear especially if hurtling down a road at speed and keeps him warm.

Got this for the winter months and it is quite useful, it is very breathable but still keeps your face warm, easily fold up allowing for you to keep it in a pocket in case you need it for later. Works well with hats and helmets as well. Overall a very useful balaclava to keep you warm in winter months.

    Review from my husband:

So, what we have here is a motorcycle balaclava ski mask-type affair. It is suitable for all motorcycle-style helmets whether it be full-face or cruiser-type open-face, I have both so I’ve tried it with both and to be honest the outcome is the same, it does keep you warmer than without, which is okay if you ride all year round and if you have open face helmets it makes you look less dorky. It is breathable but sometimes stifling and the mouth part slips down too often especially when tightening the chin strap, but that being said, it’s only 13 quid and there are examples out there that cost a lot more, so you could do a lot worse.

All in all, it’s a decent budget option with drawbacks as aforementioned. I prefer to wear mine off my head pulled down at the back and just as a face mask. I find, in my opinion, that’s a more comfortable way to use this product and it reduces the chance of slipping on the face whilst riding. 4/5

Not bad full face balaclava for motorbike. It allows you to wear it in 4 different ways so you can wear it also as regular neck scarf during winter. It has breathable mesh in mount area, ears and top of the head for breathing and air circulation. It is made of synthetic fabric which allows it to dry quickly and thanks to elastane it stretches a bit so can fit better on different heads. Great balaclava but in my opinion slightly overpriced. You can easily find similar ones for about 50% of the price.

I really like this balaclava. It fits very nicely, is easy to put on and take off (even over spectacles), does not restrict breathing due to the mesh panels and is very comfortable to wear.

I can wear it under my motorcycle helmet with ease, and the long length is great for cutting out those draughts that seem to find their way around the lower neck/shoulders. It is not a thick material, but it seems to retain warmth well. I imagine washing will be no problem at all and I reckon this product should give good, long service.
