They look really nice on the wall, well made and just as described. Only small thing, hook for hanging could be bigger and different shape as bit awkward to put up, but otherwise really happy with the purchase and will probably get few more, just to have it!
The frames were very well packaged. I had purchased two previously to frame prints and was so pleased with them I purchased two more. They are strong, look attractive and complement my prints
These arrived following day – fantastic. Took them out of the box and the quality of the wood finish and accuracy of jointing is very good; except that one of the frames had a jointing defect in one corner and the mitre was gaping somewhat. I thought sending it all back for that was probably just a waste of my time so I fixed the problem with three minutes work, some superglue and an improvised frame clamp. It’s not a bad fix, but not perfect. You have to look twice to see it, hanging on the wall.
Then (and only then) I found the very small slip of paper buried away in the packaging which basically says: “Thanks for buying, hope you like these, if you have ANY problem at all send us an email and we’ll replace immediately”……. duh. I’m an idiot.
So. Quality of finish, generally very good. Like it. Hence four stars. I’m happy to accept that this one corner was an unusual example of poor assembly and the second frame has been OK. I just wish I’d found the small slip of paper before digging out the superglue!
