How cute is this controller? I love it and have been using it for a while before deciding to review it.
I got this controller to mainly use it with my nintendo switch lite but was excited to see that I can also use it with my steam deck! I tried it out with both and loved using it. Its definitely has a sleek design and its comfortable as well. Due to this, I am able to use it for a long period of time and not get any wrist pain. I have the black version and love how the Zelda design look on it. I love that you can pick the colour and choose whichever one suits your desk setup the most. I did go for the pink/purple one as that’s one of my favourite colours and it matches my maroon nintendo switch skin!
I also love that it comes with replaceable D pads and you can choose the one that works best for you. I alternate between the both just because they feel different (they have the same functions).
There are also additional buttons in the back that my other controllers dont have and this is quite useful with my steam deck as I’m able to adjust and customise the buttons according to the game and the functions that suit it best.
On top of that, the design and the vibration/breathing pattern are one of my favourite! There are other options and you can always alternate between them.
Very happy with the quality of this lovely looking controller.

Definitely Zelda inspired controller and that’s why I had to have it .
I’m a massive Zelda fan all the way from The NES days and almost have a shrine to anything Zelda wise in my gaming room.
This pad caught my eye straight away and I had to have it.
The design and lighting is brilliant and using the pad I find really comfortable even for long periods of time.
The battery last a good amount of time before needing a recharge and the buttons, analogue sticks and triggers all respond, feel nice and work really well.
Definitely my favourite Switch pad when playing docked.
Was really easy to connect to my switch and have had no issues with it at all.
Definitely recommend especially if your a Zelda fan also
A really nice controller. It feels nearly as good quality as the official Nintendo controller. However, the D-Pad is a bit clicky and lets it down.
The LEDs are very cool. The controller is matt black and there is no evidence that the lights are there until they light up. Very distinctive.

I couldn’t resist testing it out straight away with Ocarina of Time to match the beautiful LED artwork on it. I connected it really easily to my Switch and then to my PC and it played perfectly with both, with great response times and no delays. It is aesthetically pleasing and extremely comfortable to hold.
The build quality of this controller is noticeably less robust and sturdy than the official pro controller, but it holds up well to knocks and bumps. I have dropped it multiple times without fault and it also feels ergonomic in the hands, it would be nice to have some added weight, to give it a more stable and consistent feel and motion, like the official controller.
The shape and contours are good for big hands and it fits comfortably in the palm, the D-Pad and Joysticks are positioned appropriately for all game genres, FPS and more relaxing games.
The controller also has programmable back buttons, you can set these to your preference for an advantage in FPS or just to make things easier.
Battery life is great, on par with the official controller, I can go for about 8 – 9 sessions without a charge.
There is no input delay and the connection is solid from a long way away, the vibration feedback is strong and adjusts well from game settings. One downside is that the controller is too light for careful motion control, the grip helps a little but it doesn’t have a sense of weight or gravity.
First of all, the controller looks great when switched on. The led lights really do bring it to life, especially at night to ad to the vibe of the room. Operationally, the controller performs well and is efficient for most games. For me the triggers fall short slightly, as they lack a bit of sensitivity for racing games. On the whole, a very good unofficial controller for the Nintendo switch.
The controller itself is a good size and comfortable to hold, and has a much better feel in the hands than just using the joycons on their own. I had another wireless controller but this one is bigger and easier to play on, it will make playing the Switch in the dock much more enjoyable now. You can also use the controller on a PC and anywhere that is Bluetooth compatible.
Overall I’d say it’s a good investment if you play on your Switch in the dock a lot and want a more comfortable way of playing that also looks beautiful.
