I have a spaniel (if you know you know) and I have noticed a huge difference in his behaviour after buying this food. He doesn’t have anxiety or stress but he is just SO excitable like he gets beside himself with excitement at the merest of things and is also very difficult to keep entertained for a long time. Since using this food his manic energy seems to have been cut in half, he’s no longer pestering me all day to play with him even after a long walk and he generally seems so much chiller and happier. Love it, will be keeping him on this for the foreseeable.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is now second month my dogs are on this food.
We bought this as we have two dogs that are reactive/ nervous bark when someone pass house and on walks.
I can see more of change in my cockapo she does not bark at dogs nowhere near as much when out walking and she looks much more relaxed and enjoying the walk and not paniking when meeting other dogs so we are staying with this food.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis food is fantastic at calming the demons in my border collie’s mind. She is a head case with extreme anxiety. She’s highly reactive, and cannot cope with strangers, unknown dogs, more than one thing happening nearby, cars or unexpected movement. After 3 years trying every training technique (terrified of the clicker, not interested in treats or toys), compression vest, hoodie etc she’d reached the point where she would launch an attack on my other dog (very patient and tolerant mastiff cross) at every opportunity. My vet prescribed selgian to increase serotonin production and that was simply a miracle in tablet form. She still hates certain sounds, she’s still very needy and she still struggles to read body language but she is now able to control her emotional response in conjunction with her training, she doesn’t just react. Selgian is rather expensive though so I continued to hunt a sustainable alternative. I found it in pooch and mutt. I can tell by her behaviour the days she’s swapped bowls with my other dog and not had her daily dose of pooch and mutt. I’ve started to give her her main meal in the morning so she’s happy throughout the day rather than getting the good stuff before bed.
In terms of nutrition, she likes the flavour and she doesn’t react badly to it despite having sensitivities with some brands in the past. Only downside is she has gained some weight since starting on it but only a little and it’s a small price to pay.

My incredibly fussy dogs love this food.
It’s pricey, but there’s no waste by having to throw away old food in their bowls which they’ve refused to eat. We do mix with either good quality wet food or leftovers of ours.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis product is very good, my 6 month old Labrador has runny poo with science plan and other “good quality” dog food my problem is bag size 10kg lasts 2 – 3 weeks and it’s very expensive atm I cannot justify the expense make bigger bags at better value please I’m still looking for a good alternative.

I’ve got 2 boxer dogs. One with loads of allergies, and another with anxiety. I bought the blue version of this food & it was great for my allergy prone dog. So when I spotted this version, I had to try it. It’s definitely helped reduce his anxiety but not enough to stop cbd oil.

My dog loves these biscuits, no grain or junk in them. they are small in size which is perfect for her small mouth.
They have gone up in price (like everything else!) but still value for money as not wasted.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy dog loves this food, we wanted to try as he is very hyperactive, we thought we would try the calm and relaxed to see if it would assist with his hyperactivity and over excitement baring in mind he also gets plenty of exercise, however he is exactly the same, I still want to say it is a great food, he seems happy and healthy on this, and cleans the bowl!

I feed my three dogs with this dry food, at various times with previous food they have had skin problems or GI issues but since feeding this they have been great. Two of the dogs can be quite anxious, but since feeding this they have really relaxed. They can also be quite fussy, particularly our oldest dog, but it has been almost a year on this food and she hasn’t gone off it at all and clears her bowl in record time

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood quality dog food not so sure about the dog being calm and relaxed that said she is a 1yo springer so needs a bit more than chamomile in her biscuits to calm her down.
Produces consistent firm turds which help keep her glands empty and makes poop scooping easy

One of my dog suffer from few food allergies (duck, chicken, rice, oat). It is difficult to find any complete dog food which doesn’t have any of above mentioned. Since we use this one, we don’t have any problem with coat, skin irritation, scratching or licking paws and she is so much calmer.
Another dog is a bit anxious one (she has been since puppy) especially noises are our problem. I can see difference in her behaviour while we feed her with Calming Turkey and Sweet Potatoes.
Both allergy and behavioural problems solved…
    So happy…me and my dogs

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHave to be really careful what we feed our GSD puppy as he can be really hyper, this food is a delight. Having tried many different foods that has turned our dog into a racing greyhound, this is good stuff that our dog loves, does exactly what it says on the bag and keeps him calm and relaxed. When mentioned at the vets that this is what he eats they stated they could not fault the food and highly recommended it. They also compliment us on our dogs shiny coat and overall excellent condition. Highly recommend you try this its great stuff.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersIn fairness, my dog would happily eat a pair of smelly socks or festering squirrel he finds in the woods; so it’s very difficult to rate this based on my dogs willingness to eat it.

But, he’s been eating this food for ages, gobbles it down in the blink of the eye and has never had any adverse effect (trouble from either ends). So based on that, it seems like a winner.

From what I can see from the packaging it seems to be made from reputable ingredients and the price seems great value based on that.

With regards to the calming effect… My dog is a Labradoodle, who is as mad as bag of frogs; so it’s going to take more than a few herbs to slow him down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dog never gets bored of it...

Bought this food for our rescue Jack Russell’s that suffered from anxiety. After a few weeks we noticed an improvement in their behaviour and it also helped them have more formed stools. Can’t recommend this range enough. We mix it with their wet food too (the turkey and chicken is a particular favourite). Can’t imagine using any other range now.

Was feeding my Collie an excellent food, but realised that the added ginseng and green tea was making her more hyper than usual and my collie is always on edge thinking about whats happening and brains always ticking over planning her next move.So decided to try this, it has added camomile and turkey which is rich in tryptophan, both ingredients to calm her down. She loves to eat it,it seems to keep her abit calmer than the last food, and even her little companion dog who I bought the digestion food in this brand keeps sneaking over to nick this one out of collies bowl.so big success all round.
