I purchased this as a kind of trial going from 15+ years of feeding a raw diet to my spaniels…….Wish I’d made the switch to this YEARS ago!
    Dogs love it!
They a really spin in circles at mealtimes now!
Their poop is great, coat is shining and no upset tummies since feeding this flavour of Pooch and Mutt.

    Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great food for sensitive tums!

I use this to mix in with a bigger bag of the puppy pooch and mutt. Took a few weeks but dogs toilets are nice and firm now and they haven’t got bored of this yet either.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersMy 9 month old lab has had issues with his sensitive tummy ever since we bought him home at 4 months. Started on harringtons this resulted in 8 poops per day most soft or watery. Switched to an expensive brand tribal and firmness of poop improved slightly but still 8 or 9 a day, switched again to tails thinking its specifically tailored-nope still 8 or 9 poops a day starting firm then resulted in mash potatoes by the end of the day. Raw wasn’t an option for us as the amount we needed would have cost 110 every 3 weeks! Then I found pooch and mutt and reading the reviews I thought well it can’t make him in worse! Bought a 2kg bag first as a trial and switched him straight onto it, within 1 day I noticed a difference, poops were firm, less often and smaller and he seemed more full throughout the day. Within 2 weeks my pup is now only pooping 3 times a day all firm, smaller amount and no mash potatoes, this makes me happy as I know he’s absorbing more plus I don’t have yo take so many poop bags everywhere! He looks great, coat is shiny, no gurgling stomach and generally happy! I would definitely recommend this kibble to anyone that has a dog with a sensitive stomach!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best food for poopers!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was surprised at the amount of ash in this one, considering the price. I am still unsure if dog will eat it. I will update if she benefits from this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tastes good but 6.5% crude ash

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat ingredients and easy to store despite being 10kg. Still smelt as strong after a couple of months as it did when first opened. Good sturdy packaging to avoid any splits in the bag or leaks. Would repurchase

I’ve tried so many foods with my Cavapoo, even raw but they all upset his stomach and give him unhealthy stools!
Gave a small bag of this food a chance and I’m now on my second 10kg bag! My dog loves it and his stools are now back to being healthy!

Tried two major brands but could not get solid poos from my working Cocker. Best thing I ever did trying this food. Poos changed within a week. Been using it several months now my dogs love it and will not be changing

Great size food for my hungry greyhound. Much better smell then other dog food I’ve tried. My dog usually suffers with loose poo and this seems to have helped a lot. Great for his digestion he seems very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersMy beagle X pug will eat anything (including coat hangers, other dog poo, tulips and chilli’s) so his endorsement means nothing, but for the longest time I thought that my sense of smell hadn’t returned following covid simply because I could no longer smell his rancid farts.
However, I’ve tried a number of different types of food for my pug X jack Russell who suffers with chronic pancreatitis but this is the one product that seems to tick all the boxes.
    -He enjoys it
-Hasn’t had an attack since he’s been eating it for over a year now
    -Flatulence has all but gone.
    -Nice firm poos

I purchased this after our lab had a nasty tummy bug affecting her already very sensitive tummy. For some reason she wasn’t tolerating her usual gastrointestinal food. So after much research for an alternative this seemed a good choice, and it didn’t disappoint. After the first day her tummy had improved and within a couple of days normality had resumed. And judging rate she eats it and how exciting food time is she clearly enjoys it too. I will continue to purchase Pooch & Mutt.

Obviously I wouldn’t personally know the taste or flavour but my dogs seem to love it and they haven’t gained weight which is a good sign that it’s healthier for them non-fattening wise. This is my second purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have a big dog with allergies so a hypoallergenic recipe is an essential for him. That usually means a lot of money for not a lot of food but I think this Pooch and Mutt bag has found a happy medium. Although it’s only a 10kg bag (which would normally last 3 weeks in cheaper foods) the portions are smaller and so it lasts the month! Also a great tester for me is whether it’s coming straight out the other end and this one tends to get used so it lowers my poop bag costs!

I switched to this food as my partners dog was having gland issues and it made things significantly better. Both dogs have shiny coats and seem to love it! Better than cheaper brands.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMixed with a grain free butchers wet. We’ve had multiple issues with excessive soft stools in the past so moved over to this. It’s been 4 months, her stools are now solid and dark, very normal. Shows far less bloating and is more comfortable. I was worried that she might get bored but we are 4 months in and she is still so excited for her breakfast and dinner. As with any dry food, you just need to make sure you’re not over feeding. Would consider this quite a pricey brand but I like that 10kg lasts me 2 months at approx 40.

After months of upset tummies and my bitch losing weight, within a few days of being on this she was back to her ideal weight. She is looking great and has had no more upset tummies. Trouble is my other dogs prefer it to the food I’ve been giving them for years.

Our golden retriever has always had premium dry dog food but seemed to be getting a bit bored with his current varieties. Just tried this one and he loved it. Ingredients are high quality with no grain (like his other brands)

5.0 out of 5 stars Golden retriever loves this - I like the quality ingredients

This product is amazing. Our dog is suffering with cancer and had awful poos. We introduced this food slowly with a chicken and rice mix and she is now on just the food. It’s completely transformed her food and she’s got an extra spring in her step. Judging by how she eats it, she loves the taste too! Worth every penny, highly recommend!

This is not our regular dog food but I saw it on Amazon and put a bag in my basket as we were going away and I wanted an easy solution if our home stash ran out while we were away to make it easy for my friend who was staying here. Not that I’m an enthusiastic student of dog @*%t but it was almost odourless and firm, meaning that the dog was ‘happy’ with it and picking it up is as pleasant as possible! Looking at the ingredients list it looks to be a very good effort to include nutritionally beneficial ingredients and the price is reasonable too. For now!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersMy 6 year old Labrador has suffered with awful black waxy stuff in his ears all his life. We’ve spent a fortune on vets bills, ear flushes, daily cleaning etc but nothing has worked.
We were feeding our dogs on Purina Pro Plan dry food (Vet recommended it) plus tinned wet food.
I decided to try this Pooch and Mutt and have been feeding them all a mixture of this and their usual Nature’s Menu Country Hunter grain-free tinned wet food, twice a day. They have no other treats, (just pure hide chews)
I am truly astonished by the results! Within weeks, the labradors ears are now completely clear of all the black waxy gunk for the first time in his life. Nothing else has changed in his regime so it has to be this food.
All the dogs love this food, even my extremely fussy Rough Collie. They definitely like the salmon flavour best.
    Highest recommendation.
(Pooch and Mutt please note: you do not have my permission to publish my name on your website if you copy any part of this review, as another dog product company has done).

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersLess wind. Solid poops. Tear stains reduced ALOT! Happy dog. Been on this for months…no point reviewing if your dog hasn’t been on this for a period of time to notice any benefits. Any dog who has switched a brand will INITIALLY experience negative side effects, regardless of brand…period. Too many people don’t do a gradual change, as us humans are impatient. Give it time.
Remember, each dog is different. So, just because it works wonders for mine, does not mean your dogs insides will be the same. Tried the calm variety but it didn’t calm our dog down at all, and his tear stains got worse, as did his wind. However this version has worked wonders. Great product! Love the pooch points…rewarding us loyal customers! My dog will continue to be on this as long as it suits his tummy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe give this to our dog with inflammatory bowel disease who is also susceptible to pancreatitis. Over a 9 month period we tried various other foods including different veterinary prescribed ones but he was always ill and we thought we might have to have him put to sleep. The health and digestion food (together with lots of medication) has helped to bring his condition under control being grain free, single protein source and low in fat. We mix it with a Symply grain free wet food that is just salmon and potato. He’s like a different dog. He’s put on weight and is now well 99% of the time.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersI have two French Bulldogs who have sensitive stomachs. One was on Burns dog food since a pup and is what the breeder gave us, so we duly continued and gradually moved our other Frenchie onto it too (she was previously on Arden Grange). But we soon noticed that they both had terrible digestive issues and very runny poo! I researched food to aid their Digestion and prevent this and came across Pooch and Mutt. It’s slightly more expensive than Burns and Arden Grange, but the difference since they’ve had it, is overwhelming. They poo less and what they do do is solid now. It also smells far less offensive! Both dogs seem to love eating it and I’ve just ordered my second 10kg bag. I also buy the treats to go with it so they’re not having bad quality treats. I think if I did that it would have a negative impact on the good food. I just wish they did larger treats. I also mix coconut oil in with one of their daily feeds and this helps their coats. My youngest dog had Demodex but since she’s had this food and a daily helping of coconut oil, her coat has never been better. I would certainly recommend this food for any dog with a sensitive digestive system. It also scores highly on the What Pet Food charts getting a 4/5. It is quite expensive but you get what you pay for with high quality ingredients and no grain fillers.
