Very good quality
I love this, it’s good quality bark and smells good! My orchids clearly love it too because their leaves (and roots) are growing and they have only been in it for a week.
If you find the pieces of bark to big you can always break them I suppose. I don’t mind because I feel the size provides for good aeration.
Bit too chunky
It looks good, smell good and overal looks like a quality bark, however the pieces are quite big and wont be suitable for smaller plant pots unless breaking up. .. Good for bigger plants (monstera etc)..
Gets air to the roots
Tried an orchid compost mix and followed the instructions but it was clearly dying a month later. Roots had rotted. Re-potted with this bark and the orchid is still alive and making new leaves a couple of months later.
