How often should I change my duvet & pillow?
We recommend based on an average usage replacing duvets at least every 4 years & pillows at least every 2 years, to ensure continued support & comfort.
Can I wash my duvet & pillow?
The majority of our duvets & pillows are machine washable and tumble dry friendly. Depending on usage we recommend washing at least every three to six months for optimal condition. Please refer to each care label for further instructions.
Will this duvet fit my bed covers?
All duvets are manufactured to UK standard sizing for duvet covers; for extra drape choose the next size duvet to your mattress. Sizes available: Single: L200cm x W135cm; Double: L200cm x W200cm; King: L220cm x W225 cm; Super King: L220 cm x W260 cm.

Slumberdown is passionate & actively committed to eliminating textiles & plastic waste in the production of products. We currently use recycled polyester filling for all of our products & by 2022; 30% of our packaging will use recycled plastic.

After moving into our new home, we desperately needed a much thicker quilt due to how cold it was in the bedroom. I have bought quilts from this range before, so knew it would be good quality.
It did not disappoint, so warm and cosy and snug.

I orded this more for the extra warm heavyweight , although nice and warm it’s not heavyweight I grow up in the late 60s early 70s whete think heavyweight blankets were the norm and the blankets wrapped them self around you this dose not its very light but warm . Of your after that heavy warm feeling this is not for you
What can I say other than this duvet is unreal. Lovely,cosy and thick but not heavy.Well worth the price but be prepared to NOT want to get out of bed in the morning!!
I ordered the wrong size but good quality quilt. Contacted seller and authorised a return and refund. The seller received the said item on the 29th November 2023 and should have had a refund before the 4th of December 2023 and yet after getting in touch several times still no refund! Bad customer service.
My house is so cold during winter and I’ve just got this duvet and i am so much warmer at night. I would prefer a heavier duvet as it is quite lightweight but that’s just my preference. For the price I would definitely recommend
This item came wrapped well and popped out of the secured packing once I opened it. It smelt clean and fresh. It is the perfect size and covers the bed well. I was very happy with this product.
Don’t let your emotions throw off the mood of buying it. Indeed I was thinking, what could possibly a cheap duvet that’s not even made of feathers or known popular materials offer me. The it arrived I tested it and WOW it warms you up. Used with the ideal bed sheets this is gold finding. Of course I would still go for a much more expensive one if I could to get that luxurious vibe but if you are on a budget, trust me, go for it, you won’t regret it once you put on the duvet cover and test it for yourself.
I didn’t like it at first it was too lightweight and I felt it didn’t envelope me. I actually wanted to send it back. However on the second night I did feel very cozy and it is warm enough. Husband always complains he’s cold and he loves this duvet. If you don’t like a heavy duvet this is for you. I read reviews were people said it was heavy buts it’s not.
This is perfect as my first time duvet buy when I moved to the UK. Using it for a whole year now and it perfectly warms you up in the peak winters of Dec/Jan. The thickness/filling is still retained and looks like it will last few more years.
One shortcoming is the internal sewed threads (that keep the fillings in place) start to come off which then displaces the inner filling.
Oh man did I buy this at the right time of year, usually I’d be freezing and shivering in bed with my usual summer duvet but adding this to my collection has made sleep feel like a cloud I’m kept so warm at night and the materials inside are so so soft and uplifting. I’m actually excited to go to bed now. For the price it’s an absolute no brainer. I wake up feeling warm cosy and refreshed, it’s getting out of bed that’s the hard part now!
If you don’t have one of these, you’re missing out! Since I’ve had this duvet, my sleep quality has improved. It keeps me so warm and I’m barely waking up at night feeling cold.
Brought the single duvet as i travel and stay in my truck a lot, can get very cold in winter..needed something warm..this is it!. Very thick and soft i am thinking about buying the king size for my bed to as its getting colder. Very happy.

Amazing quality for price, lighter than my last duvet but not too light that it falls of you in the night. I like to have a bit of weight to feel covered and cosy, which this does. Good thickness, cotton feel. I’m very fussy with my duvets, so I was pleasantly surprised! I bought the 15 tog.
I used it for the first time last night, and as I hoped for, I was just warm as I could have wished for, and I slept like a log. My previous, summer duvet, I used as a sort of under blanket. So! Just in time, with the clocks changing, and, of course, the night temperatures dropping, I couldn’t really be any happier, and warmer if I tried. Plus, it’s going to help me keep my heating costs down a bit too!! Wonderful!
