Wasn’t sure what to expect with this as the reviews are very mixed however my son absolutely loves it. We had no problems at all. Very clever bit of kit. You just need a large enough space indoors to manoeuvre around remembering to try keep within 1.5m.

Fantastic product. My child is now in place to become the next messi and ronaldo thanks to the soccer bot. Lasts a long time and highly engaging for any child.

Such a great concept. Bought for a football mad 7 year old. With the weather being so terrible over Christmas it was a life saver! Kept the kids entertained as can be single or multi playe
Few tips which might help.
My top tip would be to buy decent batteries for the soccer bot (eg duracell)
I recently got a soccer bot for my son (2nd hand)
First opened box turned it on & it worked for like 5 seconds then just turned off & we thought oh no it’s broke.
Put 4 x AA Duracell batteries in the soccer bot & 3 x AAA batteries into the ball & it’s now working great & we have carpet.
Son absolutely loves it.

Really good gift for my son for Christmas.
The bit you need to remove in thr ball to put the batteries in, is really really hard to get out, the instructions arnt very clear either on how to get it out. But that aside, my son loves it.
Great fun and good for skills training
Lots of mixed reviews for this product. You need batteries for both the ball and robot to make it work. It works perfectly for us on hard wood floors. My son loves it and I’m sure it will improve his skills. Also has a scoring system so can be competitive fun.
My football mad son got this for Christmas and has loved using it. It is a toy and a tool to aid him in his football training. Can already see the difference in his footwork since using it. He loves beating his top score, and also loves competing with his brother too. I love that it keeps him off of devices and keeps him active when it’s raining outside whilst also staying on the floor (rather than balls flying through the air accross my living room!). I really recommend this for all ages, as my 11 year old also loves playing with it when his little brother lets him! So glad we got one before they sold out.

My 11 year old and 6 year old love it. Has settings for carpet and hard wood. Arrivrd quickly despite long delivery window. Great game for football lovers and those wanting to improve their skills
Soccer Bot Review
The ball and remote BOTH need batteries to operate so it took us a bit to figure this out and where to actually insert the batteries in the ball. My grandson, age 11, is on a soccer team and he loved this item. This came earlier than what was expected so that was a nice surprise.

Bought for Christmas present for my grandson, looks to be a fun product that will help with ball control. Looks to be a bit slow but it does wear my grandson out after 30 minutes

Bought as a Christmas present for my son,, on Christmas Day the only thing it did was spin around like a drunken R2-D2, much to our disappointment.
However…
I spent an hour or so online to see if this was a common issue and if there was an easy fix before returning it. Turns out the fix was simple, it appeared only two AAA batteries fitted the ball, it was three!
Shame the instructions don’t include this detail as I appear not to be alone in making this mistake.
Once I had fitted the third battery on Boxing Day, mu son gave it another go and instantly Soccerbot started chasing the ball and he played happily with it as much as he could. Talk about a 180 turnaround, from disappointment to happiness, it was only a AAA battery away..
AMAZING!!!!
My 8 year old son has not stopped playing with this since purchased. He started after-school football club and wanted to practice his control and technique and Soccer Bot is perfect for that. He can practice indoors on wooden floor, and carpet alike. It has three levels of difficulty too for when he needs more of a challenge, which offers good value for money. The perfect present for a football fan!
This is so good. Got my son immediately up and active. Works on carpet and tiled floor thanks to switch underneath. One draw back is that you need batteries for the bot and the ball.
Got this for my sons 10th birthday. Both him and his sister (and me, and even Mum) haven’t stopped playing with it since. I can already see improvements in my sons close control so would highly recommend as its so much fun but also improves your ability. With the cold and rain in the UK its an awesome product as we can keep playing football indoors and controlled as the ball doesn’t leave the floor. Not sure if its intentional but there’s even a slit by the buttons, so the kids having been slotting in their match attax cards and pretending they’re playng against the professionals
