Most powerful in-car charger yet and multiple devices.
Recently picked up the 2023 SONRU car charger for a road trip and it did the job pretty well. It sits discreetly in my car’s cigarette lighter and the blue indicator is subtle enough not to be distracting. With its 4 USB sockets (both A and C), I was able to charge several devices simultaneously. Particularly appreciated its sleek design which doesn’t stick out in the car’s interior. There was no noticeable interference with the car radio, which is good. While the charging speed was decent, a clearer guide on its compatibility mode when multiple ports are in use would’ve been helpful. For its price, it’s a solid buy. Would recommend for those in need.

    A surprisingly small device
I was surprised and pleased how small this device was. I expected a big bulky car charger but this was not. It has 4 USB sockets (A and C) which means it can charge a number of devices at the same time. At 120w it has a lot of power too and has Power Delivery as well. Can’t fault it at this price only had it a few days so can’t vouch for longevity.

Cool quality high powered car charge
Having just been away on a trip with the car, I needed a good quality powerful charger for my phone and tablet. This charger has proved really reliable and chargers my devices quickly. I like the fact it has both the original USB and the new USB-C sockets, which have become an EU requirement (iPhone 15 has now gone USB-C from lightning)

With it’s narrow design it fits snuggly in to my car’s cigar lighter power socket. I didn’t notice it getting overly warm when in use and didn’t produce any interference on my car radio.

If you need a new charger which is powerful and connects to both the old and new USB cables, I would highly recommend this Sonru one to do the job.

Packs a punch for fast charging
The charger itself is compact, and when in car does not protrude, thus staying out of the way of driving. It illuminates nicely with a subtle but reassuring “I’m on” blue light that isn’t “IN YOUR FACE!” like others I’ve seen or used. The unit takes two USB A and two USB C connectors. The best thing about it is how quickly it charges my Samsung phone wirelessly through my wireless car charger. When the kids are in the back, there’s no arguments about chargers, but plenty about anything else as usual. A very good product, well built, inconspicuous and performs very well. I would definitely recommend, especially at the price.

    Super Fas
Really impressed with this 120W Super Fast Car Charger! It lives up to its name with lightning-fast charging speeds, and it charged my Samsung S23 Ultra from 0 to 100% in just a little bit over an hour. The ability to charge up to four devices simultaneously is a lifesaver for families on the go, and its sleek design blends seamlessly with the car’s interior. Plus, the wide compatibility ensures it works with a variety of devices. A must-have for any road trip!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Users24V needed for 60W output, can charge a laptop!
One of the very few car chargers that support 24V outlet (truck or RV). And can also do 60W via USB-C port!!! This charger has 2 of them.

For standard car use (12V outlet) the fastest charging speed I could get was using my phone and was 9V at around 2.8A which is roughly 25W. But I believe it could do up to 3A. This is still better than most but no 60W. But this is understandable as 60W means 20V and 3A. But typical car does not have 20V only 12V. In theory it should still be capable of 12V 3A (36W) but I don’t have a device that is capable of that speed so couldn’t test. In comparison standard USB charger can do up to 10W (5V / 2A).

I do have a portable 24V battery pack for camping and I tested this charger with it and got very close to advertised 60W per port while charging the laptop. It is possible that laptop was throttling charge speed so cannot blame the charger for that. During about 15 minute charging session the charger barely warm which was a pleasant surprise! Not only it is very efficient at converting energy it will also not melt while running at full load which is always a bonus for such low priced charger.

Additionally, from observation I can ascertain that internally it is made up of 2 independant charge modules (upper and lower). Each module has 60W USB-C port and 30W standard USB(a). Only one port on a module must be used in order to achieve max output. If both ports are used simultaneously then both ports switch to “compatibility mode” with 5V output (up to 3A per port) which seems to be a typical behavior for all such chargers and power banks. But since there are 2 modules you can charge 2 devices at max supported speed. Or up to 4 devices at 5V 3A each (but I haven’t tested that yet).
